Loved Cocoa Bean! After looking at wedding cakes that were over $1,000 for what we wanted, I was really discouraged. But then we found Cocoa Bean! The tastings were incredible, and the cake we chose was perfectly baked and presented. The price was within our budget, and everyone loved it!

Cocoa Bean really delivered on beautiful maroon cookies to serve as seating cards as well as a delicious 2 tier chocolate cheesecake! Such an enjoyable experience working with this bakery.

Cocoa Bean did a phenomenal red velvet cake for our wedding! Inga was very helpful at the tasting and made sure all our questions were answered. We chose to go with a sweets table as well, and every single treat we tried was delicious! We would definitely recommend it to any other couple.

Cocoa Bean is fantastic! We initially visited the Cocoa Bean to coordinate the purchase of a groom’s cake – my mom is allergic to peanuts and we wanted to have a cake at our wedding that she could enjoy. When we walked into Cocoa Bean, we didn’t know what to expect. Turns out, Cocoa Bean is a charming little spot in Geneva with genuinely kind staff and very, very delicious cake. During our tasting, Inga helped walk us through our options and everything we tried was wonderful. Ultimately, we ordered a cake with 2 layers of chocolate cake and 1 layer of white cake with a filling of light custard with fresh raspberries and WOW! Wow especially to the custard – honestly, I could have eaten a bowl of it. At the wedding, I told everyone to have some of the groom’s cake and I had my mom save me a slice as well for after our honeymoon; it was really, really delicious. Again, the staff is truly wonderful to work with and the cake is truly a wonderful treat!

The Cocoa Bean has delicious cake - everyone was raving about it. For our cake we had four layers (each layer was a different flavor). We gave them a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like and they did a great job. The only thing that was slightly off is that we asked to have a character popping out from under one of the layers of the cake in the back. Instead it ended up on top of a layer on the side of the cake. But it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, Cocoa Bean is great!

For our May 30, 2015 wedding, we chose Cocoa Bean as the bakery. Nancy was great to work with and really knows her products well. The dessert table she helped us create was superb and our wedding cake fantastic! Our wedding cake was not only beautiful and elegant but truly delicious. Our guests are still raving over the desserts (as we already went back to order some more for a birthday party the other week) and my husband is not sure he wants to wait a full year to taste the top layer of the wedding cake! We also had a number of guests with special dietary needs which affected our dessert selections. Nancy not only guided us through the sweet table selection process but helped us find a little something for everyone. We look forward to visiting Cocoa Bean the next time we need sweets for a party and whole-heartedly offer our compliments to Nancy and her staff for a job well done. Thank you!

We used Cocoa Bean for our wedding cake and dessert table. The cake was just how we wanted it! We went with the chocolate raspberry cake filling. Nancy and everyone at Cocoa Bean was very nice and helpful in designing our cake. Our wedding theme was barn and rustic so we wanted our cake to match our theme. We already had a design in mind and they designed our cake just the way we wanted! I was very pleased with everything and the price was just right! They were cheaper than I had thought/budgeted for!

Nancy who runs the bakery was so helpful and knowledgeable in helping us plan our reception desserts. She made our cake as well as mini desserts for our dessert table, and she knew exactly how much we would need of everything and didn't try to oversell. And the cake was so yummy!

A wedding cake through Cocca Bean was included in our reception package at Cantigny Park. Their service was wonderful and we loved the cake we chose - vanilla with passion fruit filling. Delicious, light, and a nice change of pace from the traditional wedding cakes!

I used the cocoa bean for my wedding cake and sweets table. The service was great-the owners were always available to talk and made recommendations to make sure the cake was exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The Cocoa Bean did a wonderful job creating leaf and pumpkin shaped sugar cookies as favors for our fall wedding. They looked beautiful and tasted delicious! Everyone loved them!

Our wedding cake was amazing! They did everything that we asked and made sure our cake was amazing! We had two different flavors and two different fillings! They made sure that we had nothing to worry about!
