They made us feel so comfortable, joked with us, partied with us, and made the whole day feel so effortless. I'm a photographer myself, but despite that, I'm usually very awkward on the other side of the camera. When we were looking for our wedding photographer, we wanted somebody who we could trust entirely, and not have to worry about a single thing. I'm usually very hyperaware of my surroundings, and half the time, I didn't even know they were taking photos. I constantly look through our gallery and I'm always in awe of their creativity, composition, lighting, and the way they truly captured the feel of the day. I cannot recommend them enough! They're the kind of duo you are friends with long after the wedding is over, and some of the coolest people you will ever meet. If you're looking for a photographer that authentically documents your day and then some, that makes you feel like a million dollars, and is always up for the adventure, hire them. I promise, you won't regret it. To Cody & Allison - thank you for capturing our wedding (and engagement and the extra photos in Nashville)! These are images we will cherish for the rest of our lives and we couldn't be more grateful for you!

I love that Cody was there to document the day but it also didn’t feel like we were under a spot light (definitely our vibe), he balanced getting shots of us while also getting candids of our guests- exactly what we wanted!! lls with Cody and Allison to plan every last detail! They were super helpful and even helped me pick out string lights and candles on Amazon. ABOVE & BEYOND: The morning of the proposal, I dropped off the string lights, battery candles, and a flower at their place. While my girlfriend and I were at dinner, Cody and Allison set up the lights and candles and waited for us to show up. They even moved the whole setup to the floor below when it started storming. THE PICTURES: The photos are absolutely gorgeous! I’m a photographer as well, so I had high expectations. Both Cody and Allison were there taking pictures, so we have lots of different options from different angles and different looks. We love the photos!!!

They are artists and know how to capture real moments and emotions in their work. These are so much more than standard wedding photos! After the first call and in-person meeting with the two of them, it was evident that Cody and Allison find a deep love and honor in getting to know their clients and being a part of each couple's journey. ng date (even before we knew our where our wedding was going to be held!), and through out the entire process, they were incredibly patient, communicative and reliable.  During our engagement shoot, they really embraced getting to know us as individuals and as a couple first, which truly helped us feel comfortable and at ease during the shoot. The wedding day was no different. We eventually ended up deciding on a small destination wedding in Tuscany, and C&A were completely willing to change their plans and fly abroad to explore a completely new location with us. They also never failed to answer any and all of our questions, were professional and prepared, and more than anything, they kept us calm, present and really basking in through all the crazy emotions of the day. That, honestly, was the best thing we could have asked for that we never realized.  Then when we received our photos of the wedding, we went through all the emotions of the big day again, crying and laughing through every photo— it was incredible. C&A did such a good job of capturing the day perfectly as is, it was worth everything for their services. We are so excited for our album (in process now). And on top of everything, we truly love them as a couple and as genuine humans— we are really looking forward to making a trip down to Nashville and hanging out with them again sometime soon. Do not hesitate to book them!

Phil and I had a destination wedding but were able to have a few FaceTime sessions and meet in person when they visited Chicago. We really wanted wedding photos that were not just traditional but focused more on the emotions of the day. Also, neither of us are very comfortable in front of the camera. They made us feel relaxed while providing direction and having fun! If you want photographers who truly capture your day and genuinely care about you both as people, Cody and Allison should be your choice!

he market is so saturated, and after sorting through what seemed like millions of options for every aspect of our wedding, I couldn't be more thankful we chose Cody & Allison. Allison was on maternity leave for our wedding, so we just had Cody shoot the ceremony, and it ended up being perfect! My wife and I had a small, informal elopement on the top of a mountain near Asheville. On the day of our wedding, it poured down rain all day. Because it wasn't only an outdoor wedding, but also one you had to hike to the top of a mountain to reach the ceremony site, we were nervous about needing to come up with a plan B. Everyone, including us and Cody, was from out of town, so we were also dreading the possibility of having to reschedule. Cody was so kind and flexible and up for anything the entire day, which made the decision to hike up there and get married in the rain that much easier! We didn't have an engagement shoot, so the first time we met Cody in person was on the mountain. I can't say enough how wonderful, comfortable, and fun it was to work with Cody. When you only have 10 people at your wedding, having someone there who's more or less a stranger can be awkward, but not once did anyone feel like he was out of place. He was respectful and easy going, which made me and my wife able to relax and focus on the important stuff, which is to soak in the love and the joy of the day. The sun ended up coming out right before the ceremony, so we were able to explore the mountain afterwards to take some couple's shots. The three of us got to know each other and had a lovely time. I can't imagine having spent the day with another photographer, he became an important part of our day both at the time and in our memories. The environment they both created from the very first e-mail, to our stressful and unconventional wedding day, and hopefully into the future is so special. I hope that one day we'll have another chance to work with them!

I was so happy we chose a photography team who knew each other so well, so much so that they were able to be everywhere! Our wedding photographs were BREATHTAKING - their ability to capture our joy was such artistry. even from a long distance, Cody and Allison took the time to really get to know Jake and I. They learned who we were so our pictures would be reflective of that. For our engagement sesssion, we were blown away; they put so much effort and extra time into making those photos artistic and amazing and really capturing who we were as a couple. On the wedding day we had full trust in Cody and Allison. I’m a bit of a micromanager myself and even though the photographers were the most important “vendors” of the wedding to me, I was not worried a single bit because I knew we were in great hands. Cody and Allison were not only professional, but they also were able to go with the flow of our wedding, meet our wedding party and family, and capture what we important to us. Now we have the amazing memories from our wedding captured in beautiful and artistic photos. It is the best gift we couldve asked for, and Cody and Allison Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding. Side note: we did not have an outrageous amount of money for our wedding, however, by budgeting smart, I was able to prioritize our photos in the budget. This was well worth it, as it is the main thing that remains after the wedding day.

However what really makes Cody truly amazing is the way he builds friendships with his clients. He was so personable leading up to the wedding, that when the day finally came I felt like we were long time friends. One of my biggest pet peeves at weddings is all the time guests spend waiting around for pictures, and we were adamant that we wanted to avoid that at all costs. Cody spent over an hour with just the two of us taking shots before the ceremony, and we ran through our requested family shots so quickly...plus, they still turned out perfect!

You can tell that his main goal is getting his clients the best photos he can. Which is important because they are memories from the best day of your life!! They were both so great to work with, it felt like we were working with friends. And he quality of photos were AMAZING! I would recommend them 100%!

anymore about him. 😏 Usually when you're a photographer you're super awkward in front of the camera, at least we are 😜 But he moved through our day with ease and our morning after session was so fricken perfect. Seriously. He knows what he's doing, and he's so good and making sure both the bride and groom are super comfortable and super relaxed. He captured our day so perfectly, our wedding date was the return day to hogwarts, ( I'm a HP super fan; but I, our wedding was NOT hp themed). Our images reflect our true selves and all of the emotions we felt that day which is something we will cherish forever.
