I am going to start this by saying that I am not this person who leaves bad reviews, which is why this review is coming 6 months after my wedding because I have tried everything in...
my power to rectify this situation, however these people are extremely unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK this vendor. AFTER almost 4 months from the date of my wedding of not receiving my wedding photos or video that I paid 3,300 dollars for, we find out our photos have been LOST! Who loses photos in this day and age? Is there not a backup system? No explanation was given, it was merely… they were lost and were trying to retrieve them. AFTER 4 MONTHS! I was patient and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and this is how I was rewarded. Not to mention, waiting until the week before my wedding to even speak with someone from this company to have a consultation. There was also a “free” engagement shoot that was not put on the books until said consultation which made us have to book it after my wedding. I reached out to the company to set up my consultation and was told that someone would reach out to me a month before my wedding….a week before I had to reach out again to see what was going on. I should’ve known then we were doomed. My husband and I have tried to be cooperative and settle this without leaving this company a bad review or making it public, but frankly I am tired of being a nice person to people who have done nothing but take advantage of my kindness. Now I have no pictures from my wedding day… ZERO. I have some stills from my wedding video that they tried to pass off as pictures to not give me a refund. Now, after trying “everything” they are offering only 700 of the 3,300 dollars I paid without an itemized receipt. Word of advice, keep looking and spend your money elsewhere.
Rene did a great job with our engagement and wedding photos, he was in constant communication with me since the 1st day I contacted him, highly recommend!!

Weddings are wonderful but can be a little stressful. Our videographer cancelled a month before the wedding and it had us stressing. I needed to find another videographer and Rene...
came through the rescue. First impressions make the difference and I’ll never forget my first conversation with Rene. Friendly, attentive, respectful, and of course professional. Our wedding was right on the outskirts of San Antonio and he was willing to work with us on distance, which I thought was exceptional. When it came to the wedding he was punctual, dressed to the occasion and was ready to work.
We did a walkthrough of the venue prior to the guest arriving so he knew how he wanted to set up. Rene got into work mode and set up his equipment as needed, but still was really interactive during the whole process which made it relaxed. He was really involved with the whole wedding party (bridesmaids and groomsmen) which made the whole experience really comfortable. He spent the whole day with us, 11/11:30am until about 10:30pm. He was there prior to the ceremony and stayed until we finished the sparklers at the very end. The whole time he was very easy to work with and he was so good at his job that you forget he is in the room. It all just felt natural. That is how you should feel during your special day. Rene not once complained about anything. Not that there was anything to complain about but that kind of personality and professionalism is tough to find these days. I can only speak on behalf of the groom and bride but although he was there to work, I know Rene enjoyed himself just as much as we did! He literally made it worth every dollar. We came to an agreement on price which benefited both parties involved. He was reasonable but understands his worth as he should! Overall just a really classy guy.
Next came the actual video.
We had a lot going on with our wedding, so there was a lot to capture. He got it all! He provided our wonderful videos and I’m not going to lie, I shed some tears. Really just overall pleased with the final product and just remembering and reliving the experience is priceless.
Rene, thank you. Thank you for being respectful, courteous, and just a professional at your craft.
Would I do the experience over again?
No question about it. Absolutely!!

Where do I start? For one, Rene is one of the most nicest, caring, and coolest guys I have ever met. From the first time we talked to him, we knew we wanted him to be apart of our ...
day and we had complete confidence in his character. When our big day came around, the guy we had talked to on the phone was exactly who he was in person... just a great guy who cares and wants to do good work. We were very happy with our pictures that CodyFilms took and even more pleased with the videography. We got the full package and are so happy we did. We are so pleased with our highlight film. Rene captured every beautiful moment of the night and really does an awesome job of putting that together in our film. This was definitely one of our favorite vendors! Recommend CodyFilms 10/10!
Had the best experience ever, my photos came out flawless. The photographer was amazing!!!! She took her time capturing precious moments.

ade everything so easy. Ray is who actually filmed the wedding and I can not say enough praise about him. He coordinated so well. He meshed so well with our photographer. He directed so well. I also had to add another hour, day of (due to fault of my own) and he made that so easy at a VERY good rate. If anyone needed a videographer I would definitely recommend them.

The film crew was also super nice. They picked up some really nice footage of the ceremony along with a lot of “in the moment” scenes, where we hardly even knew they were there. Very professional. The lighting and angles were also very well done.

and a pleasure to work with.
We had our wedding August 2018 and wanted to ensure we had photos and videos of our special day that would last a lifetime. That’s exactly what we got with Cody and his team.
The ...
pictures were amazing and they were at every corner for every shot. Our friends and family commented on how active and creative they were with every photo.
For our ceremony, they used a drone which was a last minute bonus for us. It was able to capture picturesque views and angles of our guest and moment we took our vows.. They also captured moments before and after the ceremony of guests and the venue which I didn’t get to see beforehand!
They used special equipment to ensure the lighting was just perfect for every shot. Cody and his team impressed us so much. They were very thoughtful with every shot and directed us on how to pose and which angles were best for the picture. They captured beautiful sunset pictures of us overlooking the lake and hillside.
We couldn’t have been more happy. Cody is so easy to work with. He is very responsive and even after the wedding reached out many times to ensure I was happy with the way the videos and photos turned out as we finalized it.
If you’re looking for a pro reach out to Cody and his team!

From the start they were not only professional, but very nice and so easy to work with. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them, and in fact, I had wedding guests coming up to me during the wedding asking who the videographer was because he was so amazing even while filming the wedding. The quality of video is perfect, and I am so happy we get to watch this video for years to come! I would absolutely recommend Cody Davis to anyone looking for a wedding photographer/videographer, and I would definitely use them again. Thank you Cody Davis!

Cody it was really reassuring to me that he was very detailed and knowledgeable in what he is doing. It was amazing to have such a great video with lots of spontaneity. The video had different angles and interviews with people involved in the wedding. Cody did an amazing job of capturing every moment and putting it into one video. We were very pleased with the final product.
Another great aspect of the process is that we were able to co-direct the editing. We were able to pick out the music and the font color. It was really fun for us revisiting the wedding day once again. It was great because we got to preview ahead of time before the video was complete. We were able to work with Cody and let him know what we wanted in there, like adding music to a certain spot and what songs we wanted to put in what order. It was great to have that kind of control. We were very excited to see the finished product. It was well worth it and great.

we set up an appointment to meet at his house. He is professional & he gives you receipts, he calls or emails you, he is a great communicator. & I felt Comfortable with him. Cody also went to my ceremony rehersal(for an extra fee) but it was worth it. I just got my video final product last week. & once I saw the DVD, it was absolutely specatular with the intro which I absolutely loved & accompanying music was the best picked music. & the whole thing with the 2 cameras was a great investment. Definltely get a professional like Cody, it is worth it. Also Cody communicated with us via email about some edit details & that was perfect to let us know what was going on. I loved my video. Faviola :-) Super happy with my video 100%

only thing I wished were different are the prices for his photo books, His overall photography service price is great, but the cost of the photo album a little expensive for me. I will definitely be using Cody again and recommend Elegance photography, especially if your looking for quality at a great price.

rehearsal in order to know exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day, he arrived on time and with an assistant (an unexpected bonus!) and was very energetic, polite, and aware of all the little details at our 12 hour long wedding. He adapted to both the Catholic and Hindu ceremonies very easily and provided us with a high quality memory of our wedding day. His turnaround time was quicker than all of the other videographers we interviewed - we had the raw footage within a week and the DVDs within 2 weeks. While he edited the video, he shared some short videos with us online to seek our feedback to ensure we got exactly the style we wanted. We had some technical difficulties with one of the DVDs (which was beyond Cody's control) and he attended to our request very promptly, giving us another copy of the video. Overall, we had a great experience with his service and highly recommend him as a videographer for your big day!

ask what kind of cut we would prefer on the end of the ribbon that would be tied in a bow on the hanger that he provided to take pictures of the dress! Cody did tons of prep work and made sure to keep communication before and after the wedding, never leaving us out of the loop. Cody will come prepared with many ideas but in order to keep things moving as fast as possible it would be best to pick out some of the many ideas he will send you before the wedding as well as some of your own. There were times that we were not sure what direction he was trying to go with some of the pictures, but in the end they came out great! In the end of the day he took great picture for a ELEGANT price;)
We loved Cody’s work! He captured the fun and life of our rehearsal dinner. It was indoors at night, but came out very well. He filmed the same scenes with separate cameras, giving...
us both photography and video. We did not even think that this could be done well. We were able to download full length video previews and direct him in the editing process to get exactly what we wanted. He even did specialty work in the editing and created a custom menu background. Cody is an excellent videographer and photographer. The cost was very reasonable. We definitely recommend him!
