Coeur d'Alene Wedding Chapel

Where to start... first off we never had any problems until the night of the wedding rehearsal... We thought they were awesome and it would be the best choice for us. Were we VERY wrong! Pros: Good Cake, Good Food, and Lisa is great to deal with! Cons: The night of our wedding rehearsal we were rushed the entire time! We had our own officiant who married us and he was treated like crap. Our wedding party wanted to go through again and she told us "it’s fine, I'll be here to help." So I told them that I wanted to take the limo to the church and to be at my house by 2:30 and we went home. The MORNING of our WEDDING I got a call saying that there was going to be no limo until after the wedding. I told them that's not what we decided... and Suzanne hung up on me twice! Finally around 2 we were told that the limo would be there in 15 mins. We finally arrived at the chapel around 3. Our photographer was already there trying to start pictures, because we couldn't arrive any earlier because they had a wedding that ended at 3:30. We tried to get as many pictures in before our ceremony at 6. My Groom and I didn't see each other before so we needed to do pictures after the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful we were happy with that. Then the reception… We went downstairs to do the blessing over the food; then our parents and the wedding party came up to the chapel to finish pictures. We were RUSHED the entire time even got the lights turned off on us! They were kicking us out because they had planned another wedding rehearsal a 7pm… (Remember our wedding was at 6pm…) Our photographer was upset because we didn't get the pictures we wanted because of Suzanne. I could not believe it; my parents paid way too much money for being treated like crap! I couldn't believe the audacity of Suzanne. We were always happy with her manner every time we talked. My parents were very unhappy. They were expecting way more and for the price they paid for the all-inclusive!!! The DJ was horrible, when he was giving the mic to people for toasts he totally passed up my dad. My own dad didn't say a toast at my wedding! My parents also didn't have a reserved table so at first they sat in the very back where they couldn't even see us. The whole reception was RUSHED the DJ didn't play any good songs or any slow songs. We were told that we had the building (in writing) till 11pm. We were the last ones out of there by 9:58pm! What the hell! Sorry but I am very unsatisfied, my parents were very disappointed, and I will never ever recommend them for anything!! Another thing is we one of the groomsmen left his shoes. So my mother called because I was so upset with how my wedding went I couldn't talk to them. She called Sunday. The day after, to tell them we were missing them and they told us they had nothing. NOTHING so almost a week later I called Fri and they told me oh yeah we found them!!! THEY never looked when we told them where they were They ruined our special day and now I will never have that day back. Don't GO THERE

I had found this chapel while at school in Iowa. I contacted the manager of the Chapel and scheduled a walk through during Christmas break with my mom. The pictures online really don't do the 100 year-old chapel justice. It's simply beautiful and quaint. We were also pleasantly surprised to find out that not only would the chapel come decorated in whatever colors I could want and a DJ was included in the price along with coffee/punch, but that Suzanne's coworker at the Chapel would take care of all the food and bake the cake in any design you'd like. Suzanne also provided flowers for the entire bridal party (including even the grandparents!). This chapel is such a jewel with it's beautiful garden attached to it. I highly recommend this vendor. Both Suzanne and Lisa were extremely helpful and willing to make the wedding day such a wonderful experience. My wedding day went flawlessly smooth, thanks to their helpful ideas and suggestions from their past experiences.
