Coffee House on Cherry Street

My husband and I had a big wedding. But, we wanted to add some personal details to make it feel smaller. One of the things we did was get our cakes from CHOCS. This coffee house had been a place we frequented while dating because I have a gluten allergy and they have just about the only GF dessert selection in Tulsa. It also happens to be the best place to get GF items ever. We always got cheesecake and red velvet cake. We decided we couldn't pick just one cake so we worked with Cat, their amazing baker, to get some quotes on doing a lot of smaller cakes and cheesecakes. We did a cake buffet and people loved it. Not to mention it was all GF (but one cake). We had four different kinds of cheesecakes and four cakes- turtle cheesecake, neopolitan cheesecake, regular cheesecake, lemon, chocolate covered strawberry cake, peaches and creme cake, espresso cake, and our fav, red velvet cake. Other cake vendors offered maybe three gluten free options but none were as good as Cat's. Each had different icing and they have an amazing homemade taste. She is also really inventive. If you have a gluten allergy or want vegan cake at your wedding... use the Coffeehouse! They don't deliver but they are fairly easy to work with. The only reason I give service a four was because it was a little bit difficult to get in touch with Cat through the store. It took around two weeks to get in touch initially. But overall, they are awesome.
