floor was always full, and it felt like one big celebration from start to finish. He read the room perfectly and knew exactly how to keep everyone hyped and celebrating together. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we are so grateful to DJ Jose for making our wedding feel unforgettable.

lutely get annoyed when DJs try to do too much and kill the energy of the party. Omar exceeded all our expectations and played the songs from our playlist exactly how we wanted to hear them all. He flowed through the different genres as requested, and he went absolutely crazy with the hype music mix that left all of us drenched in sweat. The music was my biggest worry because of all the typical wedding DJs I've heard in person, but I'm so happy that was not the case for our wedding. Thank you Omar and CoHost for helping us make our day truly special and fun. It was a Latin club all night mixed with some country and line dances and did not miss a single beat.

I’m extremely detail oriented, thus I made very detailed notes in the app. I checked the box saying my bridal processional song needed to be started at a specific point; I also made specific instructions to fade the song up at exactly 2:00. On the wedding day, right as I’m about to walk down the aisle, the song plays… from the beginning. Instead of being in the moment, I turned to the wedding planner and said “this isn’t the right part of the song.” But at that point, it was too late. I had to walk down. The disappointment was very heavy.  At the reception, my daddy daughter dance was cut off even though I wrote for the DJ to play the whole song. I had a special mother daughter dance planned right after my daddy daughter dance. It was all listed in the app and discussed over the phone. He calls up the groom and his mom instead, and then plays the song for my mom and I. The photographer helped me out by running to tell the DJ it was the wrong song. Also, at the end of the night, the DJ was supposed to make an announcement for everyone to take home the bouquets of flowers on the table, another conversation discussed over the phone and written in the app, but he did not. There were good things he did, but these mistakes overshadowed them. For these missteps to happen is not only irresponsible but also incredibly heartbreaking. I used the Walters Wedding Vender package and in the after wedding survey I told them of these mistakes, I got no reply.  I really wanted to love my experience with CoHost, but sadly I did not.  (Wedding: Nov 2, 2025, Chapel at Ana Villa)

Kyla was so professional and detail oriented with making sure everyone understood important things before they happened so that our whole guest list was included. So great! But also Kyla’s ability to put playlists together and to support the bride and groom are unparalleled. So many things happen in a wedding but neither I nor my husband will likely forget how much we loved having Kyla as our DJ!
