Originally formed in 2010, the Col Vita String Quartet performs classical and popular music for weddings, cocktail hours, and special events in the Hampton Roads, VA area AND now Col Vita Music offers music with the Col Vita String Trio in the Rochester, NY area. We perform a variety of traditional, classical, and popular music. We can even create special musical arrangements to match your event needs! Be sure to check out our website for a list of recommended ceremony selections and sample recordings of the Col Vita String Quartet-VA. Let us provide music for your special day! **We can travel, if needed, for an added fee of $50 per musician per travel hour from either Norfolk, VA or Greece, NY.** Ensemble Options include: String Quartet, String Trio, String Duet

Col Vita Music added so much to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! They were amazing and the guests could not stop talking about them! The playlist is robust and they work with you to play your favorite songs. Highly recommend!!

l. She even wrote accompaniments for pieces we wanted at our wedding but were not available online. One in particular was “The Prayer,” which was the groom’s late mother’s favorite song. It meant so much to us that Jessica put together the music, and that I was able to use that for my bridal procession in memory of my husband’s mom. She and her quartet exceeded all our expectations! My husband and I would recommend them to anyone and any occasion. I can’t sing Jessica’s praises enough. You won’t regret hiring them!

I am an educator and musician. Chamber music is one of my musical passions. I have been playing weddings and events since my early college days. I am now the principal cellist of the Roberts Symphony Orchestra in NY. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Old Dominion University in VA with a Dual Certification in Instrumental and Vocal Music. I am a founding member of the Col Vita String Quartet-VA and the Col Vita String Trio-NY, I teach chamber music at Hochstein, and I teach private lessons from my home in North Greece, NY.
