Hey! I'm Colby Campbell, a wedding photographer based out of Des Moines, IA, and I'm a professional hype man. It's my full-time job to create space for you to be your goofy, sappy self — and to put the joy and intimacy of your partnership on camera.
Fresh, never-boring photos are guaranteed. This is about YOU, after all. Telling your love story means we get to break the rules, and breaking the rules means no stiff poses, dead eyes, or pained smiles. I call it un-posed... you'll see what I mean.
Here’s the deal: We’re gonna get to know each other REAL well. I’m gonna play 20 questions about your life and relationship. We're gonna be in touch with our feelings. You’ll have the chance to roast your partner. If it gets steamy, it gets steamy — y'all are smokin’ hot, so it only makes sense.
This is not school picture day, so let’s all agree to bring the noise.
All wedding packages include digital downloads, engagement sessions, wedding day timeline consultations, and 50 miles of travel. A portion of proceeds from all weddings is donated to OneIowa, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT+ Iowans. Add-on items such as a second photographer, additional hourly coverage, polaroids, expedited 1-week delivery, heirloom wedding albums, and more are available.

But perhaps most importantly, Colby went indescribably above-and-beyond to photograph my proposal, traveling 867 miles on little sleep in order to hide behind a church organ to capture perhaps the biggest moment in my life thus far.
His portfolio of work speaks for itself, but what the photos can't quite tell you directly is his Colby's charm and professionalism: His ability to take command of an event in order to capture every moment is unmatched, and he does so in a way that makes any subject behind the camera feel at both ease and full of joy.
