I cannot emphasize enough how happy my husband and I are that we had our wedding at Cold Spring Farm. They, both Sarah and Diane, were so easy to work with. They were professional,...
helpful, kind, and always responsive. We originally decided to go on a tour because we were impressed that their website was so detailed about each and every aspect, and their transparency around pricing. On our tour, Diane showed us around and gave us the story of their beautiful property. This was the only venue we toured, and we knew right away that this was a great fit. Once we booked, I began more planning with the help of their detailed blog on their website. Around 4 months before our wedding date, Sarah reached out to introduce herself and check in to answer any questions. We emailed back and forth for a while before setting up a call, in which we discussed the timeline & seating chart in more detail. She worked with me to make a custom floor plan for my guests, and made sure the timeline allowed each vendor to get what they needed, when they needed it. She also sent out my timeline to each vendor and handled communications with them when it came to anything venue related. She sent me photos to help me choose various tables & their decorations. Sarah also walked us through the rehearsal and helped us decorate the day before. She was relaxed and knew exactly what needed to get done; it’s obvious that both she and Diane love their job here. On the day of our wedding, she stocked the cabin and loft with towels, which allowed the wedding party to shower if necessary, and had our timeline printed out for us. There was never any pressure to spend a certain amount, or to include any of their add ons, although we did do the coffee & tea service and loved it! We chose to have an alcohol-free reception, but they let us use their bar/kitchen area for setting up an Italian soda bar instead, which Sarah restocked periodically throughout our wedding day. She also set up our dessert buffet, our private cake cutting, and decorated our gift table and favors table beautifully and even made sure we had two highchairs available for our two smallest guests! Our weather was looking a little rough, so it was incredibly relieving to know that we could fall back on the barn for an indoor ceremony if needed. The venue & property speak for themselves, and our guests were just as blown away as we were. We look back so fondly at our experience with Sarah & Diane, in large part due to the non-stressful and well-organized process they have. They made planning a joy and are truly excited for each couple… Our day went so smoothly and we feel so blessed to have been able to work with Cold Spring Farm; we HIGHLY recommend it.
5 stars is simply not enough for Cold Spring Farm! I knew as soon as I got out of the car that this would be the place. It was the first and only venue we visited.

e, Sarah and their team made the planning process easy, enjoyable and efficient from start to finish. Sarah provided templates and advice that were instrumental in the process. Her day of coordination was impeccable and made every part of the day/night go off without a hitch. Being able to utilize the massive library of curated decor was incredible as it kept our costs down and made clean up super easy as we did not have to transport as much home. Diane and Sarah also offered lots of recommendations for other local vendors and lodging for our guests which was very helpful.
Location:
The venue is breathtaking, surrounded by nature and the farm's beautiful horses. The layout is perfect from the welcoming red barn, outdoor ceremony space, getting ready space, to the multiple outdoor areas for guests to hang outside (from cocktail tables to fire pit to lawn games, they had it all!). Don't get me started on the views, like something out of a fairytale.
Value:
Having researched plenty of other venues, I think the value for the investment with Cold Spring Farm was IMMENSE! I am so grateful to have found them and celebrated our special day here. We had guests from all over and they were also blown away and still mention to us what a dream of a place Cold Spring Farm is. I am so grateful to have met and worked with Diane, Sarah, Mariah and the rest of the incredible Cold Spring team who make the magic happen. I could go on and on. Thank you for everything!

This venue just in location alone is just breathtaking. The staff takes such good care of their clients and guests. I couldn't have asked for a better team!!
We chose Cold Spring Farm because we love the rustic setting of the venue, that we could hold the ceremony and reception all in one place, and the well laid out design that made it...
easy to plan and enjoy our wedding day. Everyone kept saying how I was the least nervous and stressed bride they had ever seen and that was thanks to Sarah and Diane at Cold Spring Farm.
Communication both as a couple and with Sarah and Diane is key. Sarah and Diane are very flexible but with their support and guidance, it was easy to plan our wedding. Thanks to them, our wedding day went off without a hitch and was stress free.
We pinch ourselves thinking about how lucky we were to find and book ColdSpring Farm for our family brunch this fall. Diane was a joy to work with and made the day of the event wo...
rk smoothly. Our guests are still talking about how great the property was, and how much fun they had. We can't wait to plan future family gatherings there!

lace was a hidden gem and no other places we looked at compared!! We felt so supported throughout the entire planning process. This is a small family-run operation that feels much less like a business and more like a personal experience. Sarah, who lives and works on the property, is absolutely wonderful to work with. She tailored everything to our needs which was made easy due to the fact that they store many of the wedding essentials on site to choose from (plate settings, decorations, lights, vases, candles, and many more options). While we had beautiful summer weather for our wedding, it was incredibly reassuring to know that we could have pivoted our reception indoors in the beautiful upstairs portion of the barn. We really cannot emphasize how wonderful of an experience we had at Cold Spring, and we would personally recommend the venue to our closest friends and family. Everything just felt so right. Thank you again to Diane and Sarah!!
I can't express enough just how magical ColdSpring Farm is! This is a little gem of a venue with the most spectacular views, so many wonderful areas to incorporate into your weddin...
g, and run by such an amazing family. They are an absolute dream to work with. Diane has a way of making you feel like family from the moment you meet her. I highly recommend utilizing their offer for Day of Coordinator, I worked with Sarah and she was phenomenal and helped everything go so smoothly (and if it didn't, I had no idea!). The folks at ColdSpring are always working hard to make this place better and it is already a slice of heaven, you will not regret booking your event here!

stepped foot on the beautiful property, the owners made us feel like family. There was a never ending line of communication, we had access to their extensive collection of decor, and the value for our money was phenomenal. We had the most perfect day we couldn't have even imagined in our wildest dreams. We got rave reviews from all of our guests and the day could not have run more smoothly. We took advantage of their same day coordinator, Sarah, who I in no way could have pulled this off without. In the midst of planning her own wedding, she nailed every minute detail of my wedding, and made the day SO easy and carefree for me. We also used their recommended bartender, Mariah, who was everything we could've hoped for. She was friendly, professional, communicative, affordable, and efficient. I could not scream from the rooftops loud enough about this venue. If you want a wedding you will cry thinking about for the rest of your life, call Cold Spring Farm immediately.

ection. The views are quintessential New England. You are met by mountains and fields surrounding you. Wild flowers growing in abundance and horses galloping through a field. Beyond the views and the layout of the venue, Diane and Sarah worked in tandem to create the most beautiful day for us. They both share an insatiable passion; to provide the loveliest venue, care, and love for their couples. Quite frankly, our day would not have been even mildly successful without their guidance, enthusiasm, and participation.
Sarah Lewis graciously offered her day of coordination services to me. Through her services, I had access to a wedding expert. She provided vision and all of the materials to encapsulate who we are as a couple. She worked tirelessly for us to enjoy the day. I did not have a single worry or question throughout our day long wedding. She provided an exquisite level of care (despite planning her own perfect day)!
You will not find another venue that welcomes you in as family quite the way Diane and Sarah did for us. We knew from our first visit that there was no other place for us to tie the knot. I wish them all of the success in the world, our lives will be forever changed by their presence. If you are getting married, please visit them in Alton Bay. I promise that you will fall in love.
