Colin Giles Photography, based out of Houston, TX, is a professional photographer who specializes in weddings and engagements. I've been working with cameras for about 15 years. I decided to make photography my full-time passion and job about 5 years ago. I've done approximately 300 photoshoots of various types in my career and am now focusing on weddings. Photography to me is a gift. It allows me to appreciate the powerful, memorable moments of life that should be captured and protected. It allows me to hold them and dwell on them a little longer, before they fade away, and hopefully create beautiful art out of them. Weddings, for me, are kind of the height of photography. There are so many beautiful and unique moments happening in such a short period that it makes wedding photography a very powerful experience. I love the beauty and challenge of trying to capture as many of them as possible. I love capturing both the dramatic moments and the small moments: the classic shots and the candid shots. I'm somewhat diverse in what I photograph, and I'm also very open to your vision and the types of shots you value as well. I include a free 1-hour engagement shoot before your wedding as well. This can be a formal shoot where we get some classic couple shots, or it could be a casual, fun shoot to capture some great engagement memories.
