She listened to what I wanted and adjusted so that I was extremely happy with my final bridal hair and makeup! My curls lasted throughout the night and even into the next day when I flew to my honeymoon in the DR!

I had 6 bridesmaids and a mother & in-law. They got to my house super early and got right to it! Super organized, super laid back and SUPER BEAUTIFUL! They finished with extra time so we got to go to the venue even sooner than I planned. Hair and makeup lasted all night long for all 9 of us! I would hire them for every single event and recommend them for all of my friends weddings! I was seriously blown out of the water by collective beauty!

Katie and Jackie showed up early to my hotel suite to allow time to set up and get prepped. She laid out a detailed day of timeline so that each girl knew when to be ready. We kept to the timeline perfectly and everyone was ready on time! During my trial, she did a great job using my inspiration pictures. I changed my hair slightly for wedding day, and it turned out exactly as I wanted! Day of, everyone’s hair and make up lasted all day (and it was hot!). I can’t recommend Glow Beauty enough - if I ever have any other formal events in the future, I will definitely contact Katie for hair/make up!

), and not the way I wanted it (more natural). She put so much makeup on me, I feel like a clown in all of my pictures. She came into the house where the bridesmaids were supposed to get ready, freaked out about how cute it was - and proceeded to take up the *entire* 6 person prep area with her setup. I know she needed some space, but when I think back on the day all I remember were my eight bridesmaids crammed into the tiny back bathroom trying to see themselves in the mirror to get ready when she was out there in front of the big mirror taking up all the space and doing hair one by one. My hair started to fall out by the end of the ceremony when we took pictures, so most of our photos from right after the ceremony are pretty much unusable. And she really put these full set lashes on my bridesmaids - but the ones on my made of honor fully separated from her eyes during her toast. All in all, she cost a ton of money, put a lot of makeup on us and a lot of curls in our hair, but I don't feel that she listened to me and what I wanted. I think maybe because I'm not exactly the same type of person that she is - she couldn't relate to me, and just decided to do her own thing. I hope that you have a better outcome than I did. And I recommend taking pictures before the ceremony if you can, before your up-do starts to fall out.

. Katie listened to what I wanted and asked tons of questions to get a sense of my style, the wedding style, and what I was hoping for. I was dead set on having my hair half-down, something that almost everyone advised me against because the southern summer heat was sure to destroy it in minutes. But when I talked to Katie she said “sure no problem” and got to work creating a beautiful hairdo that was exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, I was amazed at how well all my bridesmaids and family member’s hair turned out. She worked so quickly, cranking out style after style that everyone loved. And what’s more – they all sort of fit together in one cohesive style. Oh – and that haif-down hairdo held up through all the pictures, an outdoor (i.e. hot & sweaty) ceremony and reception, and an epic dance party that lasted til 1am. Thanks so much Katie – you are amazing!!

Katie did a fantastic job of making sure my makeup and hair looked exactly how I wanted it. One of my bridesmaids was so pleased with her that she actually used Katie as well for her wedding in October of 2018. I got the opportunity to use Katie twice within 6 months and was never disappointed. She can do just about any hair style or makeup that you want. I would highly recommend her!

me small changes to my hair the day of the wedding and she implemented them without a problem. It was truly everything I had dreamed of! She also did the hair for my bridesmaids. They all had picked out pictures they liked and she was able to match them exactly! My girls were all blown away! My mother-in-law also had her hair done by Katie last minute and it was a wonderful surprise for her. She looked gorgeous! Katie was also incredibly helpful with practical suggestions such as when my sister wanted a side-bun up-do. She let us know that it wouldn't show in the pictures, so no one would see it and it just wouldn't look as good as she expected in pictures. Something we never even thought of! I can't thank her enough for making sure everyone looked perfect for my big day! My makeup was also done by Katie and it was absolute perfection!! Stayed on all night through all the tears and dancing sweat! Ha! Katie hired Jackie Greene to assist in doing makeup for my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law. She was so sweet and easy to work with. It was so amazing to watch her, you could tell she was an artist! She even altered the girls looks for their skin tones and personal style! They all looked incredible! These two truly made all our dreams come true! I thank you so so much for everything you all did!!

ith Katie to make sure we got it right for my big day...and she nailed it! What I enjoyed most about working with Katie is she is receptive to feedback and honest about options. I wanted a classic chignon style up-do and because I have so much hair, Katie recommended I get weight taken out of it to help my cause and ensure the weight of my hair wouldn't leave me with a saggy up-do by nights end. I took her advice and my hair held perfectly. All of my bridesmaids, MOG and MOB looked amazing as well. I am so pleased with not only how beautiful I know we all looked but how beautiful we all felt due to her work.

I went in for a trial a few weeks before and was thrilled with the results - Katie took my simple description and few photos and created a look that fit my personal style to a tee and was even better than what I had in mind. On my wedding day, Katie and Rebekah helped make the morning a relaxing and positive experience! Everyone LOVED their results - in particular, most of us hadn't worn false lashes before and were amazed at how natural (but better!) they looked and felt. She finished ahead of time and even ended up styling a friend who hadn't been scheduled. Our hair and makeup lasted all night, through an outdoor ceremony, tons of photos and dancing. I can't recommend Katie highly enough - you will not be disappointed!

k so good. My hair has never held curl for more than an hour or two, but Katie made it last all day. For my bridal portrait she worked patiently with me to recreate the image I had in my head, and she far exceeded anything I could have expected. As for the wedding day, it was weekend that Hurricane Matthew wrecked havoc. Katie was one of the first to arrive at the venue that morning to find it with no power. That didn't stop Katie from taking charge. She started doing makeup with the natural light and coordinated with the venue about generators. Despite the circumstances Katie still had my bridesmaids, my mother, and myself ready by the appointed time. Katie truly helped make the wedding, and was beyond fabulous during the whole wedding planning process. I am so happy Katie was recommended to me and I will recommend her to anyone I meet!!
