We had such a wonderful wedding day at Colleton! Jen and her team went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of the entire weekend. We had a beautiful welcome party on the dock that was no hassle followed by a gorgeous wedding day at the Nick clubhouse. Our guests did not stop talking about the beautiful scenery. We also had many compliments about how kind and accommodating the staff was. Jen went out of her way multiple times in the planning process to ensure we would have the perfect day. They worked wonderfully with our other vendors to make the process easier. Even though we had a few unexpected changes during our planning since we had a long engagement, the end result was perfect. The cottages were the perfect location for our guests to have easy access to all weekend events and enjoy the area that we love. Alaura was very accommodating and helpful during the cottage booking process. Now to the food, the seafood was fantastic and I loved my grouper! I also had many guests tell me how much they enjoyed their meals. Our guests were obsessed with the bartenders and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a drink and food all day and night. From walking in at 8am to leaving at 10:30pm we always had what we needed and then some. The staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect for us and our guests!

Christine Hall is the wedding coordinator at Colleton River Plantation Club and made the experience of our wedding miserable. She does not return phone calls or emails for weeks and months at a time, she is full of excuses as to why she did not do her job, and she was virtually absent the day of the wedding. Colleton River is so beautiful that it is a shame that it is tainted by such an unprofessional wedding coordinator.
