ur original wedding plans, however Collin ended up being our personal favorite vendor after all was said and done! I stumbled on his portfolio by chance in a Facebook wedding group, and instantly knew we would regret not reaching out to see if he could work with us and fly out to a small town in Washington from Utah for our wedding! Right from the start Collin was so great to talk to, transparent, flexible, and professional. On the day of he showed up and absolutely just went with the flow but managed to get an incredible amount of footage considering he was working with just a few rolls of film! He also was so easy going and so fun to be around so having him around actually added to the experience of our wedding day because he was so nice and such a cool guy! In terms of the actual video - he worked hard to have the film developed right away and had our edit ready in just 4 weeks! He even thoughtfully collaborated with a friend of ours who created a wedding logo for us and incorporated that into the video, and picked a song he heard played by the DJ that captured the feel of the wedding perfectly. The film was color corrected beautifully and the edit was just perfect. We cried when we watched it! On top of that, Collin sent over the full unedited film footage, which actually showed how masterful he was with being intentional on capturing footage in the moment. He clearly has amazing instinct on when to press record and for getting shots we wouldn’t have even thought to request! I loved our wedding photos but honestly the super 8 footage from Collin is my favorite keepsake from our wedding (other than my now husband lol). If I could hire Collin to film all of my major life events I could. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign to go for it and reach out to him!!

eographer that shot on an actual super 8 camera versus using a filter. We’re so glad we found Collin, a filmmaker that doesn’t use drones or filters and has a very natural aesthetic. He is a very kind, warm person and captured our vision perfectly. He’s also easy to work with and responsive to any questions before the day. I’d suggest talking through desired video length with Collin early on as this will inform the length of the video’s song. We didn’t realize the song couldn’t loop, so we had to request some edits to fit in the clips we wanted within a shorter amount of time. I’d also discuss any editing preferences you may have in terms of coloring, shadows, highlights, etc. We are so happy with the video and had a wonderful experience working with Collin. We’d highly recommend hiring him!
