Collin Richie Photography was exceptional to work with! From engagement pictures, to our rehearsal dinner, and of course our wedding, all members of their team were professional, on time, talented, and friendly! They are extremely experienced in wedding photography and the process of getting each important shot was well thought out, making the process flow seamlessly. I could not be happier with how our pictures came out. I feel like I am reliving this day over and over again each time I look at our pictures as they captured every moment. I am thankful for such a talented team to have captured such a special day for us! I could not recommend Collin Richie Photography more!

Collin and his team are fantastic! He did my Bridal portraits a month before the wedding. They came out gorgeous. I received so many complements on them, especially the one on display, and used them as gifts to my dad and grandfather at the wedding. During the wedding, Collin and his team were wonderful. I have a huge family and we got through the important photos efficiently and they are beautiful. All the special memories of the wedding were captured beautifully!

Collin and his team were amazing to work with. He makes you feel relaxed and makes the photo session fun which allows for fabulous photos in the end. Searching for a photographer, we found Collin through a friend (who just so happens to work with Collin). We had Collin shoot our engagement photos as a sorta trial run to decide if we wanted to book him for the wedding as well. We were blown away by our engagement photos and knew we had to book him for our wedding day! Collin, Andrea, and Haskell did such an amazing job with our wedding day! From answering all of our a million and one questions to being on time and on point throughout the whole day, there isn't an amount of praise high enough to cover how happy we are with our wedding photos and the work Collin and his team did! We are so happy to have such beautiful pictures for years to come of our wedding day!

Collin is nothing short of incredible! Not only did he photograph my sister's wedding, but also mine. All of the pictures are gorgeous. The pictures are even better printed!! He is able to get the shots you want without taking up you're entire wedding day. The lighting and angles were great on our photos and exactly what we were hoping for.

My husband and I cannot recommend Collin and his team enough. We got a package that included engagement photos, the rehearsal dinner (opted for this instead of bridal), ceremony and reception. We were continually impressed with Collin’s professionalism and efficient use of time. For the engagement photo session, I was pretty nervous and my husband had no idea how to pose (which I am ok with ha). I was also late to the shoot because there was a makeup disaster (think 1920’s circus clown) that required a do over. Collin quickly put me at ease, had us both laughing, and kept telling my husband to stick his chin out more. He and his wife (helping him that day) were awesome to work with and we were excited to see how the wedding weekend would go. Fast forward to the wedding, Collin did a great job capturing the small church ceremony. Afterwards I was dreading the overwhelming number of family photos we had to take at the alter (big families). But Collin had everyone organized quickly, directed people efficiently, and before we knew it, it was time for the party to start! He essentially acts as a second wedding coordinator with his timing skills. It was very comforting throughout the crazy wedding weekend. We received the photos about two months after the wedding and they were worth the wait! Collin and his team captured the love we experienced that day, the energy in the seed barn where we had the reception, the amazingly bad dance moves, and our final send off. We will cherish these photos forever. We highly recommend Collin Richie Photo. You will not be disappointed!

Collin and his crew are awesome! They took the greatest pictures for my wedding. My husband and I were flipping through all of the pictures yesterday and had the biggest smiles on our faces as we remenenced the best day of our lives so far. Collin and his team really did a great job capturing those special moments and those looks my husband and I would give each other. They also got some great shots of our guests having a good time, which was also nice to see. Random side note - between my husband’s family and mine, we have a few last names that are not very common and I remember our guest saying how impressed they were about how they nailed the pronunciation of all their names when Collin was gathering family members for group pictures. Seems like not a big deal, but it’s the little things some times. These guys were so professional and really kept the mood light and fun. I would definitely recommend them in a heartbeat! They are actually going to be doing my sisters’ wedding next year and we are looking forward to working with them again.

If there were 10 stars I would give it! When you're deciding on a wedding photographer, a thought that never crosses your mind is "how will my photographer incorporate the hospital into our wedding photos?" But that is the exact thought my husband and I had in the week leading up to our wedding, as our baby daughter was in the hospital for a bout of pneumonia. I don't know if there is a venue more unsuited for a wedding than a hospital room, and yet Collin Richie still managed to deliver some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. He was more than accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. My family members have used and loved Collin in the past. When we got engaged, having him as our photographer was the one thing I was insistent upon. While the average Joe can point and shoot a camera, it takes amazing artistry and a talented eye to capture the moments that he does. He holds himself in a professional manner and exudes such calm and certainty that on that special day (no matter the circumstance) you will not have a single worry as to the outcome of your wedding pictures. Our photographs are stunning, breathtaking and something we will cherish forever. Collin Richie is amazingly talented, an artist, and I would recommend him again and again.

Collin and his team were fantastic! I really appreciated his efficiency and ability to corral family members for the posed photos. I'm really happy with the final photos, the lighting is really beautiful! When I received my flash drive of the photos, it was packaged and sent to me so nicely. I was very impressed. AMAZING! Every experience with Collin has been above our expectations. He and his staff are so amazing and made me feel so comfortable and helped me with anything I needed at the moment. Collin is such a pro and made my bridals look incredible - even in the torrential downpour of a Louisiana rainstorm. We also booked their Photo Booth for the wedding and had so much fun, as well as our guests. You won't be disappointed in the extra money you spend for the BEST photographer!

I knew that Collin was good, because he shot my Mother-inLaw's wedding a few years back. But I was not prepared for the onslaught of tears (of happiness) that came while reviewing our proofs. It was amazing to relive our wedding day through his lens. I feel like Collin really knew and understood what was important to us, and it really shows in the photos. Him and his team were extremely quick, efficient, and organized, especially when it came to formals (which I had previously said I wanted to keep short), and they delivered. It was quick and painless and they came out beautifully. He also didn't bat an eye when we through a last minute photo request at him during the reception, and he pulled it off flawlessly. The amount of photos we received was also incredible; there are so many and each one awesome! We will have to get an electronic photo frame so I can stare at them all over and over again. We hired Collin and his team for our wedding and reception photos. Collin was great to work with and very prompt and professional in communication leading up to our wedding and the day of. This was especially important as we live out of the country so had to communicate via email! He and his team remembered every shot I requested and went out of their way to deliver them! I am so glad we used Collin Richie as our photographer at our wedding. He was very fast and made sure to get what I wanted. I was nervous since I didn't do a first look before the wedding that the photos would take time out of the reception. With Collin, he was so organized we showed up to the reception early! I'd like to start off by thanking Collin and his talented team! Collin was actually out of the country when I first emailed inquiring about pricing and dates for our wedding. Andrea, one of the other photographers, immediately got back to me and answered all my questions. This might not seem like much but when you are planning a destination wedding communication is key! Collin also touched base with us as soon as he returned and anytime I had a question I received a response that day. I was worried about coordinating my bridals since that was also being done in New Orleans. Collin and his team worked with me and everything went smooth. The day of my bridals was the first time I met Collin and his equally talented wife Janay. They were so easy to work with! My entire family came to watch/help and he was able to include/entertain them as well as obtain some awesome shots! Then the wedding! Again, myself, husband and family loved working with Collin and his team that day. They made me feel calm and confident and moved through the pictures as quickly as possible (which June in LA was much appreciated)! We recently got all of our photos back and there seriously isn't a bad one in the bunch! He captured everything my husband and I felt about that day and we look forward to having those memories to look back on for years to come.

Collin and his team were amazing! While wedding photos are a lasting memory of your special day, they often consume a lot of time that is reserved for your reception, but Collin and his team had post ceremony photos taken so fast, I can hardly remember taking them. Candid photos were captured the rest of the night! Andrea, Janae, and Collin were all so kind and easy to work with and also very responsive and accommodating. For one of the top wedding photographers in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, the price was also fantastic. One of the most important purchases you make for a wedding is a photographer, and you can't go wrong with Collin.

I got exactly what I expected from Collin - perfection!! Him and his wife are amazing and totally fun to work with. I did engagements, bridals and wedding and purchased "the total package". It was WELL worth it. I got everything I wanted and more for what I spent. Being able to have the digital rights to every photo he takes is awesome. There are no hidden fees down the road with CRP - you know exactly what you are getting as soon as you sign the contract. I hired Collin not only because his pictures are stunning, but because I had always heard that he was super quick on wedding day with family pictures in the church. We didn't want to waste a lot of time taking a ton of posed pictures. Collin was able to get us every picture we wanted and some great candid shots coming out of the church and on the street. Collin and his team did an amazing job for my wedding in Birmingham AL! Prior to the day, he was always accessible and answered all my questions. We also used his team for our engagement photos which were excellent. On the day of, he was on time and very efficient. He made sure to get all of the shots we specifically requested and even though he had never been to our venue before, was great at finding the perfect shots. He and his team were very professional and fun to work with. We were looking for a more casual/candid feel to our pictures and that's exactly what Collin was able to produce. Collin and his wife did a great job of making my fiance and I feel very comfortable. I appreciate having a photographer who isn't afraid to tell me when I'm doing weird things with my face and posture for the better good of the pictures. It definitely shows when I looked at the photos. Collin is very professional and efficient with his time, and very open to suggestions and doing anything to achieve the client's artistic vision. His photography literally brings traffic to a crashing halt as two cars crashed and swerved towards him as he was shooting. Good thing, he had some ninja reflexes probably from snapping photos so fast. Haha. Overall, if you're reading this Collin is definitely the right choice for your portrait session or special occasion photography.

What I loved most about Collin was that he empowered us to make our own decisions. He was the first photographer that didn't pressure us to do a "first-look" before our 7 p.m. ceremony. We knew the light would be gone after, but we wanted to keep that tradition. He said it was his job to make it work, however we wanted it, and he did! Where to begin! Collin far surpassed any expectations that I had for my wedding photographs. I actually found Collin many years ago online and was blown away by his original creations. Wedding pictures were so important to my fiancé and I and we wanted to make sure that we got someone who could really capture who we were as a couple and Collin couldn't have done a better job. Each picture is truly a work of art and the attention to detail is unreal. He did a great job of getting all of the pictures that I requested in a short amount of time! He was a perfect balance of professional yet friendly. He is the kind of guy who makes you feel like y'all have been friends for years even though you have just met. I have had numerous people ask me for Collins info following the wedding because everyone loved him and his work. He also did a wonderful job of getting all of the traditional pictures, as well as getting original shots that don't look like the same photos that everyone else has. It is truly difficult to pick any favorites from the gallery because they are all so good- and trust me I am a tough crowd on pictures of myself!! I honestly cannot wait to work with him again in the future for family photos! I cannot thank Collin and his team enough for my beautiful wedding pictures that I will always treasure!!

Collin and his assistant, Andrea, were amaaaaaazing to work with! Collin even called the morning of the wedding to let us know when they would be on their way, their expected arrival time, and asked if any plans had changed on our end. It was extremely comforting to know that they would show up to the hotel on time to catch us getting ready. The atmosphere was totally relaxed at the hotel, they were in stealth mode at the church yet somehow captured some great views, and efficiently wrangled our large families into group photos at the church so we could get on with the partying! I loooove that he will give us a hard drive of all of the pictures, because I have a feeling that some of the "not good" shots will also be the most hilarious ones. I also really appreciated getting a few photos back fairly quickly, as my co-workers and my husband's family were eager to see pictures and of course I had none of my own to share. Collin's artistic talent and professionalism are both outstanding and we enthusiastically recommend him!!

Collin Richie was the best photographer I have ever worked with. He took all of my pictures for my wedding including engagements and pre bridals. We used Collin Richie Photo for our wedding and for my bridal portraits, and both were GREAT experiences. Neither of us are terribly comfortable in front of the camera, but Collin and his team made us feel comfortable and brought out genuine smiles from both of us. They were super flexible about everything and wanted to make sure we were happy. We actually had to change the venue of our wedding hours before the big day. It was stressful to say the least, but they made sure to get all of the shots we wanted of us and our loved ones - even or dog! When I first started planning my wedding I never imagined how much everything was going to cost. You get referrals from friends and family for venues, food, photographers, flowers and so much more. It all starts to add up and you start to think about what you can do without or what you can sacrifice without regretting it. Right about that point in my planning I was referred to Collin by a friend that had used him. Well everything turned around that day! I met with Collin and another colleague and instantly felt comfortable. That's huge in my book! I hate taking pictures for the sheer awkwardness of someone staring at you and telling you to move in ways that aren't remotely normal but their style of photography made everything look so effortless. As I'm sitting there talking and looking at portfolios I'm already adding up dollar signs because everything I was looking at was so amazing and just what I wanted. So I asked the dreaded question and again, instantly felt comfortable! They worked with me on what i wanted and what I could afford and NO ONE else had done that! I was sold! I think that's what made our day just that much more special! Everyone I met with or dealt with at CR Photo was genuine and you can really tell that in their work. Our pictures had everything! If someone cried, they got it. If someone was blue from laughing so much, they got it! The amazing pictures of the decorations, us walking, the cakes, the people enjoying our day with us made me realize we actually missed a lot of stuff, but it's all there in the pictures! Everything was organized to what I wanted in the time they had via my budget and it all got done. I would have been a very sad bride if I skipped out on the pictures I received from them.

We knew we wanted Collin to be our wedding photographer before we even booked a date or venue! I had seen his work (both wedding & commercial) and read the reviews but once you meet him you just know... One of the most important things to us was to feel comfortable with whoever would be taking our wedding photos. Collin "got" us and our personalities and it felt like a close friend was there to document the best day of our lives. He captured EVERY unique detail and emotion of our wedding day: From the hotel room as my bridesmaids and I were getting ready and all the silly moments and then the nervous ones as I put my dress on with my mom and sister looking on. The emotion of our first look, the heartfelt and intimate feeling of our Ceremony, and the party & dancing of our Reception. He captured all the details of the wedding that we'd worked on for so long and all the time and effort put into each piece and decoration is just as I remember it in the pictures we will have forever. Collin (and his staff) knew the importance of timelines and getting all the pictures that we needed done and out of the way and so we could jump right into our Reception! I could go on forever with the incredible experience we had hiring Collin as our wedding photographer... The quality of his work and the customer service is incomparable! He is, hands down, the best photographer in town! :)

I can't say enough how awesome photographers Colin and Andrea were for our wedding! From the moment he got to our venue, I knew I was in good hands. My wife and I used Collin Richie Photo for our wedding in July of 2015. We had the best experience we could have imagined with Collin and his staff. Collin is the ultimate professional in every sense, and his photos truly speak for themselves. My favorite part of Collin’s work is how rich and vivid the colors are while still looking smooth and natural. He really has a knack for interesting composition, perspectives, unique poses, etc. He did an amazing job at capturing the ambience, the details, and all the candid moments in artistic fashion.
