Phil and his team were amazing to work with!! They truly care about their couples and want the best for them! They were so fun and it felt so natural which sometimes feels hard knowing cameras are around you. I highly recommend Phil!! The video is phenomenal and I could not be happier!! The best decision I made for my wedding day!

Phil is truly THE most talented videographer and just an all around awesome person. We ended up having Phil fly in for our wedding in Massachusetts, from a recommendation from our photographer, and he did not disappoint. Him and his crew were the nicest, most fun, genuinely kind people I think I've ever met. Phil was so accommodating with our wedding rescheduling, and was our hype-person from day 1. He does video for multiple weddings a weekend, and still made us feel like our love, our beauty, our day was one in a million. Our video came out SO incredible... I think I've watched it easily over 100 times. Ultimately, you need to hire Phil. You get a hype-man, and a videographer all in one.

Phil and his team are incredible! They added so much fun, joy, laughter to our wedding experience. We booked Phil immediately and trusted him to capture all the moments that we will cherish forever. We had high expectations after witnessing his talent at my sister's wedding, and he exceeded them. What a gift to 1) have the coolest and kindest guy present for the wedding events and 2) be able to watch the memories over and over again. We recommend Phil with all our heart and would shout it to the moon!

As a wedding planner, I always try to take care of all of the vendors and make sure they have everything they need. This was the first time I ever had a vendor wanting to take stress off of me and my bride. He was so pleasant and has an amazing eye for detail. He truly showcased my bride and groom and told their love story perfectly. His video was their personality and they shined on camera. Hire him for all your video needs because he will be kind to you and be pleasant to work with from a vendor standpoint.

We booked him for our wedding, and we couldn't be more thrilled! He quickly answered my emails and met with my mom and me several times before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Phil and his assistant, Chase, were prompt and kept the atmosphere fun and lighthearted (when it could have otherwise been very stressful). I had no concerns, as I knew they were capturing the special moments of the day. Our trailer was beautiful and incorporated everything I could have imagined. One of the things we decided early on in preparation for our wedding is that our video was going to be one of the most important decisions we would make. We wanted to capture not only our special day, but also have the memories of our loved ones and friends together with us long after the day was over and for years to come. We also wanted to have the video to show our kids and grandkids one day of what we looked like when we were young! While we initially hired a different videographer due to the fact that we were having a destination wedding outside of Tennessee, once we saw Phil Collings work and realized he was available to capture our big day we quickly moved in and didn’t look back! We were so impressed with his work that we even paid a mandatory cancellation fee to the other videographer we had hired, because we knew Phil would make our video that special. Every step of the process in working with Phil was not only easy, but a pleasure. First, Phil sent us the contract and paperwork, and explained how he would film our wedding step by step. It was simple and easy to follow, and we knew going into the wedding what to expect. Next, Phil spent extra time at our venue capturing drone shots from different angles, and sifting through hours of that footage to find the best shots to use in our film. Next, on the day of the wedding Phil took the perfect approach of blending into the background and getting a lot of natural shots of our wedding parties, the ceremony, and the reception, but also providing guidance to us on what would look good when he saw fit especially as our wedding parties were getting ready. He couldn’t have been nicer or more professional throughout the process, and our families loved meeting him as well which was an added bonus! After the wedding when we got the video we realized that we couldn’t have made a better decision. We LOVE everything about our film from the background music to the drone shots, to the way it made us feel that we were right back in our wedding day! Hiring Phil was easily one of the BEST decisions we made, and for anyone looking for a videographer, and who realizes the importance of a having an amazing wedding video to watch over the next few decades hiring Phil Collings is a decision that will leave you and your family extremely happy and grateful.

I HIGHLY recommend Colling Films! If you are on the edge at all about getting a wedding videographer, I can tell you now that it is WORTH IT. At the end of the day, all you have are photos and a video. The video Phil made for us not only captures our wedding day perfectly in about 10 minutes, but he also provided a full film of the ceremony, bloopers, the first look, a video of me and my bridesmaids, a trailer, reception speeches, the first look with my dad and also my bridesmaids....the list goes on and on! I'm so happy knowing one day I will get to show my kids the film of my wedding ceremony. Each film Phil provided us was the absolute best quality and I couldn't ask for anything better. He is also SO easy to work with, makes you feel comfortable, and is SO FUNNY!!! He also gets to know you before the wedding and learns your personality- he ended up choosing a Ben Rector song for our video (which is my favorite artist) and he picked up on that just from being around me and my family. Our experience with Phil was absolutely amazing! He and his assistant were prompt, professional, and genuinely interested in creating a memorable video of our wedding day. Phil always responded to emails and messages in a timely manner, and delivered our video as promised. The finished product did not disappoint. The video is the exact representation of our wedding that we had hoped for and one that we will cherish for years to come!

I reached out to Phil and within 2 minutes of speaking with him on the phone I knew I made the right choice. He was just as excited to shoot my wedding as I was to have my wedding. Ben and I got married at Riverwood Mansion and we had a 2 hour window with 37 people total and a tight agenda. We had a lot of things to do in 2 hours! Phil was on his toes the entire time and worked really well with my photographer and with the wedding coordinator. Together they were a team and they did an amazing job. Phil made Ben and I feel like we were on top of the world that day. You can tell that videography is his passion - he is SO creative. He surprised us an had our movie done in 4K which is AMAZING! I would recommended him for any event! I LOVE MY VIDEOS.

When my daughter,Natalie, became engaged, the wedding planning began! I followed several wedding sites on Inckuding The Knot 😉 Phil Colling popped up and I was hooked on how the videos, the music, the unique descriptions he placed on every video. He knows how to create a L❤️VE Story like no other videographer. I cried EVERY time I watched one! Still watch Natalie and Sam’s almost every day! 😉Seriously. I only wanted Phil to capture Natalie and Sam’s wedding day! I trusted him to know all the important moments and he delivered. Not only is he a great videographer, but a fine man. Once the wedding planning began my husband and I were on the fence regarding using a videographer. I can say using Colling Films has hands down been the very best decision we made. Working with Phil the days leading up to the wedding was a pleasure but let me tell you working with him after the wedding has been even better. We got our trailer the very next day!!!! The quality of video footage from the entire day has blown me and my entire family away. If you are in the Nashville area (state of TN or connected states) I can PROMISE you will not get such high quality work for this price anywhere else. I'm lucky enough to have met Phil and his family when I started watching their kids back in the summer of 2016. They are such incredible people, and I got to see Colling films really take off. The time and passion Phil has for this career really shines through in each of his videos. Each session he does is like a mini-movie that he creates based on the individual's style. He really works with you and cares about what you don't/don't want while making the whole process fun. He shot my Wedding last June and I am beyond thankful for how it turned out! Your wedding day is so crazy you sometimes don't get to take everything in, so I get to watch our video back and re-live the special day again! Each of his videos are an artistic piece - each unique in their own way. I recommend Colling Films to anyone I know. 10 STARS!!

I would recommend anyone and everyone who is getting married to use Colling Films! My husband and I were not going to do a video due to cost but a friend of mine suggested that I look into these guys so I did. If you’re considering a videographer, do yourself a favor and book Colling Films now. No review will do him justice, but let me tell you a little bit about my experience from hiring this brilliant/insanely talented man to travel all the way from Tennessee to Ohio and capture the best day of my life. I’m not embarrassed to admit that I found CollingFilms through Instagram. After spending 3 minutes on the page, I was knee deep in videos, feeling emotionally connected to his featured couples. I was skeptical we could get him because we lived in NYC, were planning to get married in Ohio and oh if that’s not complicated enough, hire a videographer based in Tennessee — but it was worth a shot. We connected, hit it off and he was down to make a road trip to Ohio. The process with Phil was the least stressful part of wedding planning. He was easily accessible and accommodated our crazy schedules (he actually FaceTimed from the parking lot before a movie because it worked for US). Leading up to the wedding, we spoke over the phone so he could get to know us and ask what was important for our big day. We shared those unique family dynamics and what he might expect from the night of our party. He listened to what we said and was able to capture such special moments— quite honestly moments that we would have never seen. On the day of the wedding, he showed up right on time (with his drone!) and seamlessly integrated himself into a roomful of bridesmaids getting ready. He was extremely professional (not awkward at all) and everyone genuinely wanted to hang out with him. The rest of the day/evening went off without a hitch. We even invited him to our Sunday brunch before he had to hit the road. Anticipation was through the roof leading up to the days before the finished product. He communicated and managed delivery date expectations. The sneak peeks that he shared during his editing were so fun and allowed us to relive the day. In advance of our “trailer” he asked if we were ok with the direction he planned on taking it — honestly, I told him anything he did was good by us. O.M.G did it live up to the hype. I wish I could share the Facebook/Instagram comments we received from friends, family and even strangers on the post. The best trailer they’d ever seen and that was just the trailer! How was he going to top that? I should have never doubted him, because of course he topped it. I’ll leave you with this. I’m not an emotional person (I didn’t cry on my wedding day), but I did watching his work/our final video. And the “special features” sections? A cherry on top. We are so grateful to Phil for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. He is a hidden gem and is going to 100% blow up on the scene. We feel so blessed that our paths crossed and even resulted in a friendship.

Phil Colling is amazing at his job! You want to hire him for your wedding. He listened to me walk through the schedule and detail of my wedding day and his team managed to capture every single detail. My family and I are so happy with the video he made. 30 days before our wedding, we found out some family members were not going to be able to make our wedding, I thought it would be completely impossible to find a videographer at that point. We were so close to the big day! Then I met Phil, with Colling Films. He assured me he could do everything I wanted/needed! The videographers were so great! I cherish my film more than I do my pictures! I go back and watch our highlight reel quiet often! There were so many things going on that day, I missed out on some pretty funny parts, but got to experience them through the film! I recommend all of my friends who are becoming brides to be sure to have a videographer, and then I always and only recommend Colling Films! You will not be disappointed. I also found out later on, Phil and his team were already booked and shooting another wedding on the same day as ours! And he didn't think twice about saying he was already booked or too busy to make it like so many other people I heard about! That was another special thing that meant a lot! My film was personally delivered in my mailbox on a weekend night because Phil was so excited for us to get to see it, along with knowing a bride and groom are always dying to see their film. Thats super special and really hits home!
