Wow! Words will not do the Collingswood ballroom justice. Beautiful venue with history, elegance, and GREAT air conditioning! Enough about the venue though, working with Debbie for our event has been such a pleasure! Debbie and her team have been accommodating, accessible, and professional. I would work with Debbie for any future events in a heart beat. She has years of experience and it shows- she’s the best in the business and we have been SO lucky to work with her. The Collingswood Ballroom is the way to go for your event!

This is a tough one. We booked with Collingswood ballroom for two reasons: number one being Debbie and Paula. When we first met Debbie we instantly clicked and just had a good feeling about everything. She’s warm, funny, detail oriented and has been doing weddings for a while. I met Paula a few months after booking and same thing just a great energy to be around. Number two being just the Ballroom itself, it’s stunning and unique. The one issue that my now husband and I had the night of our wedding was that you weren’t allowed to bring your drinks onto the dance floor. Now, we have both been to an abundance of weddings and have never heard of such a thing - even at the most high end venues! The part that made me upset was that we didn’t find this out until we were dancing…on the dance floor..with our drinks. They threatened to shut the bar down, multiple times. When I had asked the reason, the answer was that they didn’t want the spilled liquid to ruin the floor. That was the reason. Not the broken glass potentially injuring someone, just the liquid spilling. Which is interesting because once we started dancing I took off my heels and my feet were black within seconds so to me it seemed like the dance floor wasn’t really cared for anyway? I also think it’s strange and irresponsible to have drinks sitting out in the open on a table where anyone could do anything to them (not saying we had people there who would do anything like that), but you truly can never be too careful. People were also dancing and then going back to their table and slugging their drinks so again it just felt irresponsible. If we had known this information upfront we actually would not have booked our wedding here. It’s frustrating because you spend a lot of money and venues, caterers, vendors they’re all so quick to take your money, but details like that matter. My husband and I are very easy going people and it takes a lot for us to be upset, it just kind of felt like a slap to both of us. It would have been a five-star review, but like I said if we had known that information upfront, we simply just wouldn’t have booked it. This is truly just my honest feedback and I hope it can help another couple!

I absolutely loved getting married at this venue!! It reminded me of the Ballroom at the Ben, just as gorgeous but only a 10th of the price. The spotlight dance for our first dance was unforgettable and Paula was so amazing to work with. We got married in November so the leaves had just changed and it was beautiful! We rented the photobooth and everyone has an amazing time and we've been told nonstop how gorgeous and perfect everything was. Also a special shout out to the bartenders because everyone told me the bartenders remembered who they were and what they ordered and were super quick and awesome.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Collingswood Grand Ballroom as our wedding venue! It has a classic vibe with beautiful drapes lining the interior of the ballroom, as well as an historic mansion attached to the back which offers a significant amount of room for both groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready. The ballroom itself is one big room with two levels connected by a grand staircase. Our cocktail hour was held upstairs while the ceremony and reception were held downstairs. The greatest asset is their first dance setup. Our first dance was held at the conclusion of cocktail hour prior to introductions. All the guests were still upstairs as the draperies opened to reveal us down on the dance floor. It was truly magical! The grounds are also very beautiful, which made for fantastic photo opportunities. Debbie was wonderful to work with. Booking this venue did require more coordination as we had to book more vendors ourselves since the ballroom only provides the event space. But Debbie gave us a list of vendors to choose from who are familiar with the venue, so that definitely mades things easier.

Paula is amazing!! Not only did she walk you through how your day would be. She showed us around the beautiful ballroom/mansion. The place is breathtaking, and we loved having our wedding here. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here.

We had our wedding there 6/11/23. It is a beautiful space, inside and out. Their dance floor was great for my family, drinks were great. Beth who helped us the whole way was great! She was on top of things leading up at and the day of the ceremony!

I chose the Collingswood Ballroom for our wedding after I was unhappy with the size of my previously chosen venue. Changing to Collingswood Grand Ballroom was the best decision I could have made. Paula and Debbie were completely accommodating and let us visit the venue to ask questions, plan and observe as many times as we needed. My mom was skeptical because you just rent the space and have to hire all vendors independently, but Paula Lara, the director, runs a tight ship. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful; she made sure the day flowed seamlessly and that all vendors were in order. The bartenders were amazing and drinks were delicious. The ballroom itself is beautiful, elegant and well-kept. For the first dance, they have a special set-up where the bride and groom have their dance down on the dance floor while all guests watch above from the balcony. It was absolutely magical. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the venue.

The Collingswood Grand Ballroom and their staff went above and beyond our expectations! Beth was extremely helpful throughout the entire entire planning process. She responded quickly to any question I had (and I had a LOT lol) and was extremely knowledgeable and organized. Wedding planning is very stressful, but because this venue operates like a well oiled machine, I never had to worry about that part. I highly recommend this venue!!

I cannot recommend this beautiful venue enough. Not only does it offer the most incredible, romantic atmosphere for your special day, but Paula and all of the staff there are beyond amazing. They offer so much more than just a place to get married, and do so with warmth and understanding. From the moment I stepped foot in the ballroom to the moment my husband and I left the night of our special day, I was captivated by it’s beauty and it was everything I could have dreamed of and more! 10/10 stars and I can’t urge anyone enough to get married here. You will not regret it!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Collingswood Ballroom and it was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for better service or a better venue. Our guests had an AMAZING time and one month later we are still on cloud nine. Everything about the facility -- from the ballroom, to the front porch, the mansion and the grounds -- is elegant and top-notch. The staff was incredible. They handled every single detail and request with kindness, patience and a geniune desire to make our day be what we envisioned - including some huge logistical changes just 2 hours before the ceremony. Every single detail was perfect and we got to relax and truly enjoy our wedding day. Would give it 1000 stars if I could.

CGB was perfect! A gorgeous and unique wedding venue with beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony options...we were lucky to have perfect weather but just knowing how beautiful it would be either gave us total peace of mind! Paula is an absolute saint - whatever we needed, she made sure we had it. She went out of her way to get us the decor we wanted so we didn't have to spend extra cash buying things, and she made the whole planning process so simple. It also helps that CGB works so frequently with Summit (our caterer) and Time Productions (our DJ) so they were all able to coordinate with one another without me ever having to get vendors to talk to one another. Getting married here was a dream come true!

Beth was great to work with. During the planning of the wedding on 4/30/2022 she always got back to us in a timely and friendly manner. The night of the wedding Paula was the ballrooms coordinator. She was equally as impressive. The entire staff along with Andreottis Catering, a recommended vendor by Collingswood worked very hard. All guests were pleased and impressed by the service provided. The venue by itself is beautiful and unique.

If you are looking for a ballroom wedding in South Jersey, you have to visit the Collingswood Grand Ballroom! We had our reception here on 2/19/22. The venue is gorgeous, with a mezzanine level overlooking the ballroom. From the very first time we visited, Paula was so friendly and helpful. She responded right away to any questions we had, and was extremely accomodating. We had a large bridal party, and were able to use the bridal and groom suites to get ready in early in the morning. They are large and the bridal suite has a beautiful sunroom to get ready in, perfect for getting photos. Every detail in the ballroom was made to our exact requests. Paula worked hard to make our floral centerpieces just the way we wanted them, and other details as well. You get so much included in your wedding package for a reasonable price. It was truly the most perfect day and I can't thank everyone at Collingswood Grand Ballroom enough for making it a day we will never forget.

Honestly, the most amazing venue I have ever seen, and I got to have my wedding here! Guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and fancy it looked. The grand staircase is so elegant and the venue truly speaks for itself, barely any additional decorations were needed for the ceremony and reception. Getting ready at the venue was a dream with a gorgeous mansion and separate wings for the groom and bride to get ready in with their parties. Most of all, Paula is the absolute BEST wedding coordinator you will ever have! So accommodating & willing to help us personalize and make it the day of our dreams. I wish I could find the word to truly explain how I felt. I am such a Type A person and the professionalism of the staff made the day go off without a single hitch! All I can say is, Collingswood Grand Ballroom is the most beautiful place to have your wedding and you will not be disappointed!!

Collingswood Grand Ballroom was a dream. Paula and her team accommodated our “micro-wedding” during these crazy times and blew our expectations out of the water. Between the bridal suite, the groom’s suite, the ceremony and everything in between, they made our day beyond special. Will recommend them for many years to come and will be searching for an excuse to use them again!

This review comes after celebrating our 5th year wedding anniversary at the Collingswood Ballroom. My wife and I held our reception at the ballroom 5 years ago (which was absolutely perfect) and with current restrictions in place due to Covid-19 I wanted to try and find a way to make our 5th year anniversary special. Well, I reached out to the staff at the ballroom and could not be more pleased with the effort and accommodations provided for my wife and I to celebrate. When I initially reached out I was hoping I could just bring my own table and food and set up in the parking lot or on the lawn with my wife, well Beth and Mary made sure to go above and beyond to make our night memorable. Upon arriving they had a private table set up in the garden under the new pergola with flowers, a bottle of champagne, and even a personalized card with a gift for us. While the entire thing was a surprise for my wife, I was even surprised by this. It was a beautiful night and my wife and I sat there for 2+ hours just enjoying the night. Mary was even there and stopped by to say hi and took a few pictures for us. Again I cannot say enough great things about the ballroom and how they made this night special for us. It was one that we will never forget and hopefully can recreate again in another 5!

The staff at Collingswood truly went above a beyond to make sure my wedding day was perfect. I wasn't that bride who had everything planned out perfectly, and it was great to work with a group who used their knowledge to help me and ask for input on things I wasn't considering. After all, I'd never been married before and had very little involvement in any other weddings while they were doing these events all the time! As it turned out, my wedding dress had a bustle which was revised without my knowledge after the final fitting. Samantha quite literally saved the day by improvising when no one knew exactly how to make it work. She came in even more clutch than any of my bridesmaids could because of her extensive knowledge and experience. The bottom line: I'm married, it was beautiful, and it would not have happened without the team at this beautiful venue.

One word: AMAZING. The staff at CWB are awesome, they’re very helpful during the planning process and the day of. There are so many helpful people that created an awesome atmosphere for our wedding. The ballroom itself is gorgeous as well. You have to visit it to see the classic beauty of the building and land surrounding it. My wedding day was perfect and the venue played a huge part in making that happen.

Beautiful venue, however I couldn’t have been more disappointed by the actions of the staff at Collingswood Grand Ballroom on the day of our wedding. Brides/Grooms - if you are interested in this venue, make sure Mary Ellen from Collingswood Ballroom is no where near you or your guests on your wedding day. She scolded multiple guests and family members during the ceremony and reception. She was rude, unkind and awful to deal with. I am fortunate that my caterer that I brought in from the outside stepped in and saved the event from going completely south. The bartenders at this venue were also very tough to deal with. Many of my guests complained on how the staff at the Ballroom treated them which made me so sad. It is such a shame because the Ballroom is so beautiful and our photos came out great, but brides and grooms - be warned! Hopefully they hire a new polite and friendly staff for any future weddings and events.

My husband and I had our reception at Collingswood Grand Ballroom on New Years Eve. It was the perfect night! Teresa & Paula were so helpful and friendly throughout the entire planning process. Our guests loved the venue and the evening went very smoothly. We loved every moment of our special day!

"Amazing" and "Beautiful" were the two words our guests used to describe our venue! They absolutely loved it! Everyone was blown away by the size and they were amazed by the "curtain reveal" - -definitely one of a kind! We looked at many spaces, but no one has the dance floor size that the Collingswood Ballroom offers! SO much room! Our guests LOVED it! Heather was in contact with us at all times and so attentive and so helpful. She met with us as many times as we needed, we were able to show the place to as many people as we wanted. She even put together some of our decor for us and every spruced some of it up for us when we ran out of ideas for some of them! She is so gifted and so great at what she does!

Amazing! It is a beautiful venue! The staff was outstanding! I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. They took care of us like we were family. They responded quickly to emails and phone calls and would take time out of their busy day for us to come there to make sure the uplighting color was just right. I couldn't thank them enough!

This venue is perfect for the romantic in all of us. From the magnificent staircase to the exquisite lighting it was a wedding to be remembered. The staff was so kind, thorough and accommodating. A perfect 10💕

Heather and the entire staff at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom were phenomenal from start to finish. I never felt pressured to chose them, and they were so easy to work with. They were quick to answer any questions. The dance floor monogram, uplighting and bistro lighting gave the already fabulous ballroom the perfect look! Our guests raved about our venue! It's truly one of a kind!

It's a beautiful venue and they did such a great job in making sure our guests were comfortable and have the best time. I can’t say enough great things about the ballroom. We fell in love with the space and had to have our wedding there...thank God we did. EVERYTHING was amazing!! Samantha and Heather felt like my best friends during the whole planning process and did everything they could to help out (thanks so much, ladies!). It’s obvious that they’ve done this many times before and the entire process is so smooth!! They are really on top of all of the little details of the day and even set up for the ceremony both outside and inside in case there was rain. We decided to go inside and they did an amazing and beautiful job of setting the room. Every person who came to the wedding loved the space and we are so thankful for the amazing job done at the ballroom.

We were speechless when we entered into our reception-- it was everything we had imagined & then some. Heather was so kind and helpful throughout planning. She helped ensure no detail was overlooked. We brought a lot of our own decor and Heather made sure it was displayed perfectly & just as I had imagined. The venue is beautiful, our guests were blown away by our first dance. Talk about amazing. I just had my wedding at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom this past weekend and everyone was blown away by the beauty and character of the venue. The mezzanine overlooking the dance floor and the grand staircase make this place stand out from other venues in the area. Heather and Paula were super helpful in the planning process and answered all of my MANY questions along the way. I highly recommend checking out the Collingswood Grand Ballroom for your wedding.

This venue was beautiful! Its very spacious and has an amazing upper level. Heather and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job helping to make everything perfect for the big day!

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding earlier this month. It's a classic, stunning building that's very unique with it's balcony for cocktail hour, grand staircase to the main ballroom, and the attached Victorian structure which serves as a bridal suite. We received so many compliments on the "Spotlight Dance": the bride and groom have their first dance in the middle of the dance floor while all the guests watch above from the balcony. The ballroom itself was incredible and had plenty of room for our guests (we had 200) and the dance floor was large enough for our crowd. It was decorated for Christmas which made it especially beautiful, and the red uplighting package (as well as our personalized monogram) added a great touch. The staff at the Collingswood Ballroom was extremely helpful, from its management personnel in the weeks and months leading up to the event, to the great waiters, waitresses and bartenders who took supreme care of us and our family & friends throughout the evening. For the venue itself and its incredible staff, we heavily recommend the Collingswood Ballroom for anyone's wedding. The Ballroom gave a strong foundation to our incredible day.

My husband and I were married on October 7th, 2017 at the most perfect venue! We were married outside in front of the gorgeous oak tree and Heather helped us plan this amazing wedding for about two years! And she was incredible! So helpful and patient! Even when she went on maternity leave Paula stepped in to help and she was wonderful as well! The ball room for the reception turned out to look magical. We did uplighting and bistro lights and it truly turned the room into a fairytale wedding. I’m so impressed with the venue and couldn’t have pictured it more perfect! Thank you for all of your amazing and hard work! We loved our day!

Absolutely amazing and beautiful

Everything about having our wedding here was perfect. We worked with Heather Meddings and she was extremely helpful. We really liked the option of a packaged deal with their preferred vendors. It was reassuring to work with other professionals who were already familiar with the ballroom and who were being referred by the ballroom. The setting made for beautiful pictures and the staff were so wonderful the day of. Nothing but positives. I would definitely recommend checking out the Collingswood Grand Ballroom for your wedding.

I wish I could give the Collingswood Grand Ballroom more stars. The stair case and the unique layout of the venue was something out of a fairy tail. My guest's were completely blown away. Heather, the event coordinator was sweet, prompt, accommodating and available to answer any/all of my questions and soothe my pre-wedding fears and jitters. Thank you so much. Thank you also to our attendants who made sure that our big day was flawless.

An incredible venue to work with!! The experience for our wedding day was more than we could have ever hoped for. Heather was amazing to work with an so organized. She helped so much in guiding us through the process. I had made and put together all of the decor for our day to help keep within a budget, and Heather was so welcoming of the idea. Aside from the original beauty of the venue in itself. I put together a rough mock up of what I had hoped for and she blew me away with what she did in placing and decorating with everything I had provided. She was so creative and was such a pleasure to work with through it all. I couldn't have imagined it being so much more than we had even hoped for and would highly recommend this venue to others.

I can't say enough how happy we were the facilities and staff at the Grand Ballroom. Jerry and the other staff made sure we had everything needed before the wedding and of course the day of. They were extremely flexible and friendly. They went above and beyond what my friends at other wedding venues experienced. I am forever grateful for all their professionalism and kindness!

Wonderful venue. The dance floor is one of the largest around and the room is so elegant without having to do much to enhance. The outdoor ceremony is ethereal under that tree if you are fortunate to have good weather. Heather was wonderful to work with as were Paula, Beth, and Christina. We felt they genuinely cared about us and that they wanted to help make this wedding everything we had hoped for. Highly recommend.

The Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding. They were accommodating about special requests- we set up a gaming table with an Xbox and TV's, and had costumed entertainers to dance with guests, and the ballroom handled it perfectly. The setting was gorgeous, the lighting was romantic, the balcony allowed for a killer first dance viewing area, the bar is beautiful and classy, the staircase really added a touch of elegant drama. It was spacious even for our 125 guests, and the dance floor was lovely, just the right size.

The ballroom is absolutely stunning!! It is really nice because you can style it to your unique taste. The lighting added a great touch, as well as the monogram option. I would definitely recommend checking them out! One of the best parts about having my wedding there was that there was no other event going on that day. My guests had the parking lot fully to themselves and the ballroom was available all day to decorate. It definitely was a stress reliever! The only downfall would be the air conditioning. It was pretty warm, but then again it is an old building! It did not stop anyone from dancing the night away :)

I absolutely loved our wedding venue at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom. The space was large enough to accommodate the large number of guests I had, without feeling too crowded. The upstairs cocktail hour and the stairs we made our grand entrance on were what sold us on the space. We got married outside on the grass under the big tree and it was perfect. The planning process was painless and Heather and the rest of the staff were always there to quickly respond to any inquiries I had. And most importantly, this venue was affordable. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Once I saw the staircase on the website, I called to make an appointment to see the Ballroom. Once I saw the staircase myself I knew that was where I wanted to have my reception. In addition to the absolutely beautiful staircase, the Ballroom has so much character and was absolutely perfect for us. Heather and the staff at the Ballroom were so helpful and helped to make sure that it was the perfect day.

I absolutely fell in love with the Collingswood Ballroom from the moment I stepped into it. I knew it had to be our venue. The staff headed by Heather were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Our guests were awed by the gorgeous setting of the ballroom and how spacious it was. The staircase was really the show stopping piece in the room. If you are looking for something not cookie cutter, this is your venue.

The ballroom felt dramatic yet cozy with the giant 2 story ballroom and grand staircase. Cocktail hour took place upstairs, dinner downstairs. We had 180+ guests in this large space, and yet it still felt intimate. And the mansion in front, which becomes the bridal sweet, was amazing for photos.

This site is absolutely gorgeous - make sure you visit it before you brush it off! Everyone who came to the wedding was absolutely blown away by the place - the soaring ceilings, the beautiful staircase, the lush grounds far exceeded my expectations. The staff were wonderful - Heather didn't steer me wrong from the first moment my mom and I stepped in the place, and the catering company worked very closely with the Ballroom to bring everything together. Ample parking, handicapped accessible, my family from Philly were amazed at how close the location was to them (20 minute drive - there were definitely no complaints!). There were a few tears during the spotlight dance, it was the only venue that I had visited that had such a unique first dance! I can't say it enough - definitely a place to consider, I've been recommending it to everyone!

The first time I stepped into the ballroom, I fell in love with the place right away so I did not bother to check another place. It's a perfect place for my wedding! The staircase, two levels, huge dance floor, nice and clean bathroom, nice grounds for pictures.

My husband and I were married at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom in July 2013. We used Summit catering and could not have been happier. Heather, from the ballroom, was great! She was there for everything and helped answer my questions along the way. The ballroom is a very beautiful place and does not require a lot of extra decoration. I would recommend the ballroom to others!

I had my wedding reception at the Ballroom on May 25, 2013- I couldn't have been happier with EVERYTHING! The ballroom is beautiful, it comfortably held my 275 guests and 11 person band. The dance floor is large enough for everyone to be up and dancing without dancing ontop of each other. The ballroom coordinator, Heather is such a pleasure to work with- she was so accommodating to all my requests and she never made me feel like I was bothering her. She and Christina from Vitarelli's Catering work so well together and made my wedding flawless and the best day of my life. I highly recommend the Ballroom and Vitarelli's catering.

The Collingswood Ballroom is the perfect place to have a wedding! Heather was absolutely amazing! Everything was beyond our expectations and I would recommend anyone to have their affair here!

Not only did they overexceed my expectations, but all guests were talking about the vendor for days! My brother has his own vodka and Barbara, the manager, made sure it was available to serve at each bar. Again they did an exceptional job.

Very spacious; Had an upper level which looked down into the reception area; Has a beautiful staircase going down into the reception area;;Because the venue and caterer are separate entities, you may need to be on top of some coordination between the two (depending on how particular you are). This setup allows for great flexibility, but may cause a detail-oriented bride some extra stress.

It was unique and beautiful. It was centrally located and easy to get to. The staff was great to work with.
