Maurisa was the sweetest! I loved working with her very much. I was planning a destination wedding and Maurisa helped make the process easier. I loved how attentive and responsive ...
she was. There was even a time when I had sent some wedding information to Maurisa and then to another vendor and the response I got was along the lines of "Thank you, we had received this information from Maurisa". My initial thought was, "Nice! Maurisa is on top of it!". Thank you very much, Maurisa for your help and expertise!
There are truly no words to describe how incredible Maurisa from Sweet Like Honey Weddings is. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking. To start with, our wedding had to ...
be completely redirected & rebooked with only one month left for our big day because of the tragic wildfires in Maui. We decided to reroute to Oahu but were left without a venue. Maurisa was recommended to us by our videographer and we couldn’t have been happier with this recommendation.
She stepped in and we immediately felt at peace. She was not only able to find us a new venue with only one month’s notice but it was literally everything we’d imagined and more. Truly a dream come true. She was available any time we had a question, was clearly experienced in her role, professional but with a warm & friendly energy. She helped coordinate with our guests and all other vendors, recommended hair & makeup, and floral preferred vendors that also did an amazing job.
On the day of our wedding she helped us, and our guests, feel completely at ease. There wasn’t a single detail out of place and on the most important day of our lives we were able to just be in the moment because of her leadership, skill, and professionalism.
If we could work with her for any event in the future we would gladly do it.
I cannot say enough positive things about Maurisa and the SLH team! By complete chance (and pure luck), Maurisa happened to be available on our wedding date when our previously con...
tracted coordinator fell through (only 2 months before our wedding). From the very first meeting with Maurisa, I felt I could take a breath, and felt a tremendous weight of worry lifted off of my shoulders; she instantly provided me with the feeling that she could handle our needs with ease! She has a calm demeanor, she’s knowledgeable, professional, thorough and detailed. Working with her was absolutely smooth and seamless. To say that I am beyond grateful for the skill and service that Sweet Like Honey provides, would be a dramatic understatement. Her team allowed me to focus on the excitement of the day, instead of worrying about the details. If you are going back and forth on the idea of hiring a coordinator, and you’re considering the SLH team as your vendor; absolutely hire them! My experience with them was so wonderful that I’m truly sad that it’s now come to pass.
We cannot thank Maurisa and Sweet Like Honey enough! We booked Maurisa for day of coordination for what we thought was going to be a small and simple wedding. And as it turns out, ...
weddings aren’t that simple. Maurisa really went above and beyond from beginning to end with us, she definitely did way more than her day of coordination. She toured the venue for us, helped with vendors, regularly checked in, gave us great recommendations and really helped work with our vision and budget. She met with us the day before for a ceremony walk though and that really helped me mentally prepare for the big day. Our wedding was very DIY and it would not have come together without Maurisa. I was able to completely relax and just fully enjoy and experience the wedding day thanks to her. I’m so glad I went with her instead of others, I didn’t feel like a template wedding she really helped us achieve our vision and do what was most important to us. Book with Sweet Like Honey if you want your own unique and perfect wedding!

our entire wedding planned in less than a dozen emails. She is so organized and on top of everything - we had very little we HAD to do.. she knows how to make a day magical. She understood our wants and our vibe and made it happen.
The day of was so seamless, it literally felt like "this is naturally when we could move on to the next thing" and we were exactly on Maurisa's schedule. I genuinely don't know how she did it, but it was absolutely perfect.
Maurisa is also just an absolute gem of a human, unbelievably kind and thoughtful. Ready with a steamer if you need one last minute or reassurances that everything is taken care of. I wholeheartedly would recommend her for anyone looking for an amazing wedding planner.

tressful. Things changed immediately when Maurisa came on board to support us. She was able to overcome any and all challenges that arose throughout the process, and expertly put all the pieces together. Her help was definitely worth every penny, and she brought additional value that we weren’t expecting. We highly recommend Sweet Like Honey, and can honestly say there wasn’t a single negative aspect to our interactions or the whole process overall. Thank you very much!
