Now owned by Antony and Kimberly Canova, the inn continues to make local history. The Canovas are committed to providing high-quality service for guests who stay in their rooms or dine in the restaurant. Antony has a gastronomic background, having graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, while Kimberly specializes in hospitality. Together, they are proud to welcome engaged couples into the inn to celebrate their love. Couples who hold their event at Colonel Blackinton Inn are treated to their own space in a private structure on the property. The Jenkin’s House is a cozy building with elegant and sophisticated decor. This space blends historic allure with modern comforts, resulting in a distinct style. It features a beautiful hearth as the centerpiece of the dining room. Additionally, there is a private function room in the main building that can also be used for wedding events. There are nine private guestrooms, each uniquely decorated, that can be rented out for a romantic wedding night or other celebration. You can hold a plethora of events at this diverse venue including engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, and more. Jenkin’s House can accommodate up to 55 attendees, while the dining room in the inn can comfortably seat 20 guests. You can also choose to rent the entire property for events of up to 100, making it suitable for intimate weddings as well.
