Did the booze, blues and BBQ last nite. Food and service was great. A special thank you to all the crew for assistance with my disabled hubby. It was his 77th birthday and they made it all the more special.

Our annual Flower City Ukulele Cruise, as always, was very fun and a great success. Pleasant and accommodating crew. Having beautiful weather helps a lot too!

GREAT river cruise with a lock! We thoroughly enjoyed the narration from the captain (and owner!). The crew was very friendly and professional, and we joked about how hard it must be to find a team that can be both bartenders (yummy drinks in...
cluding cocktails & mocktails) and ship tenders. We can’t think of a better way to have celebrated the 200th anniversary year of the Erie Canal. Thank you, colonial Bell for a fantastic afternoon out.

Colonial Bell is a family owned boat tour which is located in Fairport NY and offers a variety of all types of themes and cruises to choose from. The boat has a interesting history in itself which you may learn more about through visiting the ...
web site or fb page.
We opted to take the 3 hour tour on the Erie Canal in a early weekend in June. The package included music by Pete Griffith and Anthony Blood along with dinner. Tickets as well as dinner preference can be purchased ahead through site or telephone. What impressed me the most about the dinner/ music festival was how well it was organized along with how interesting the tour was. The music was delightful our captain was the daughter of the owners and shared facts about how the Colonial Bell came about landing in the Erie Canal. If interested in beverages while listening to the music a server( a younger daughter) will bring drinks to the table from the lower deck which hosts a full bar.
The smooth ride the Colonial bell offers through many bridges( low bridge everybody down) as well as taking in all the beautiful scenery from the Erie Canal is a treat in itself. Plenty of photo opportunities are provided for those interested.
Dinner was provided through a local restaurant in the lower deck and was delicious. Once again thankyou to our server was fast on her feet friendly and professional. She did an awesome job seeing as she had quite a few passengers to take care of.
I highly reccomend booking the Colonial Bell for next Erie canal adventure. Thank you Colonial Bell for providing us with a phenomenal evening on the Erie Canal. We look forward to our next tour.
