a full day. I called the studio on May 29 and talked with the young lady that answered the phone, she explained I could do an inquiry online or she could put a hold on the date. I asked what’s the difference and she explained a hold on the date allows the studio to call me if anyone else inquires about the the same date allowing me first opportunity to pay my deposit and secure the date. I replied this is awesome, let’s do it. On yesterday June 10, 2019 I called Alina’s studio to pay my deposit and the young lady asked for my information, I gave her my name, told her she could search by my date, I already have a hold on the day. She tells me yes I can see it on the calendar however...my heart sinks hearing the word HOWEVER. She continues this date has already been reserved and is no longer available. I explained I have a hold on this date, I was told I’d receive a call should anyone inquire, how did this happen? This is a very special day for me and I’ve been waiting an entire year!!! If I’d known this would happen, I would have reserved on my last call back on 5/29/19 when he day was still available. I asked to speak with someone and the young lady explained Alina’s husband is out of the office, Alina is out of the office. I can take a message and have Alina’s husband (whom I’ve also spoken with in the past and has answered questions for me) call you back. I gave the young lady my phone number and asked how long will it take to receive a call back, she replied I don’t know. I’m very disappointed in the process I was told would work! It failed me and I can’t explain the amount of hurt felt by not receiving a phone call for the date I reserved on hold so I could book with Alina. I’m not sure if I will receive a phone call or what can be done now that Alina has another contract for my wedding date. I’ve waited a whole year with excitement only to end with great disappointment. I now have to start all over in search of another makeup artist. I’m so very hurt by this experience , I tried calling back twice and was sent to voicemail. Wonder if the young lady that took my call...cleaned up her calendar after our phone conversation to cover up the office mistake. Heartbroken Bride
