cial. My advice for all couples is to find a coordinator who has planned and worked weddings like the one you are planning. As well as if they have worked at your venue before. These details make a huge difference and something I should have done. Working with Rhonda leading up the wedding was smooth. About two months before the wedding we had weekly meetings to go over details and to make sure everything was on track. Which I appreciated because planning a wedding can be overwhelming. Even though I had the majority of the wedding planned it was still helpful to have someone you can talk with. Rhonda attended all vendor meetings, creating an excellent timeline and was very organized prior to the wedding. On our wedding day it was a bit different. Her and her teams attention to detail was not there. We had a family style table with assigned seating so it was important that this was set up correctly but it was not. Our guests place cards were not in the correct seats or at the correct tables which caused confusion for them since the large seating charts directed them to a specific table. I printed out multiple seating charts to help Rhonda and her team set these table up correctly. The end of the night was absolutely chaotic and frustrating for us. Our cake was still not cut at 10:30pm. My mom is the one who noticed and had to find Rhonda. We had to be out of the venue at 11:00pm so this caused a rush at the end of the night. Our grand exit was an absolutely mess as guests were not directed on where to go or what to do. The getaway car was not brought around until my husband asked a member of her team to bring it from valet. Our car was a convertible so we asked for the top to be put down for photos and it was not done. It truly felt like our wedding was not a top priority and whenever we needed her she was no where to be found. I also had another vendor express their concern and frustration with Rhonda. With all that being said all couples needs and expectations are different. For our wedding we needed someone to strongly execute and direct the flow of the day and to not over look any major details. Unfortunately our needs were not met.

l than it needed to be. Throughout the set up of the venue Rhonda was " taking 5" throughout most of the set up time. The venue was mainly set up by my family and friends, and MY FLORIST who had to pick up Rhonda's slack. Throughout the event I would look around for Rhonda several times and she was no where to be found. Her assistant was simply sitting by the door the entire time doing nothing. She had my husband running around doing work during setup, and every time she was told that we were running out of time to set up she would ask where the other friends and family went who were helping (i dont know how or why she was relying on them). My family and friends caught her gossiping with the banquet director several times. In addition, here is a screen shot of a thread I was accidentally CC-ed in (check my google review) where Rhonda was straight up gossiping about me and my budget with the banquet director instead of advocating for it. I was a few weeks away from the event and was going through a lot of stress with my finals (I was doing my masters while planning this event), therefor I accepted her "sincere" apology and decided to move forward. I wish I didn't. I am not sure if she had a personal issue with me or if money was the issue. If money was the issue, I wish she had charged me more rather than putting me through all of this.

full time, or just don’t like planning, I would highly suggest using them and you will not be disappointed!

We live on the east coast so planning our wedding in Dallas was a daunting task, without Rhonda we would have been totally lost on how to plan our wedding and when we should be focused on specific details. My wife made it clear from the beginning we wanted "a rager but classy" and almost a year later that's exactly what we experienced! Throughout our experience Rhonda was always excited to talk through any idea we had or share inspiration from other weddings she was working on at the time. There were many times she would just text us a photo of something (table setting, bouquet, bar trailer, etc) just because she thought we might like something similar on our wedding day. When we were selecting our venue, photographers, rentals, and catering she reviewed all of our contracts and gave guidance on how much to order. A few months into our wedding planning process we upgraded our package with Rhonda to include design and florals. We both would HIGHLY recommend this option as it simplified our planning process and Rhonda was truly able to create the vision that we gave her. Above everything else we really appreciated how realistic she was with us - if we suggested something that would blow the budget or wouldn't work with the flow of our event she would clearly explain why that was not the way to go. There were many times where we would ask her "Are we crazy?" or "Is this too much?" or "Would you do it this way?" and she would give her honest opinion and keep us grounded in reality. On the day of our wedding it was impressive to watch Rhonda and her team transform a blank canvas event space into exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. They did an incredible job of making sure the event moved along as we had planned and we were thrilled with how our event was executed! If you're getting married in the DFW area Rhonda is definitely someone you should meet! :)
