She did a great job working right along side my hair dresser on my wedding day. I felt transformed into the best possible version of myself. I wasn't able to lose weight but she did some contouring that sure helped and made my eyes really show up well. I did cry more than a few times during my wedding and reception from the sheer emotionalism and joy and Wow, my makeup still looked fantastic!! I was sure I'd messed up, but no, that is how great a job Crystal did! She also gave me a little makeup kit for touch ups which really came in handy. I was so happy and I wowed everyone on my wedding day! Thank you so much Crystal, you are fabulous and every women deserves to have someone like you to help them look great. Most sincerely

talk to, and listen to your preferences. They both were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and it was comforting to know that I could rely on them to be there on my big day. I couldn't have asked for a better duo! :)

ner runs by mid-day, and that's when I don't cry. I cried a few times that day, and my eye make-up was still flawless! She also suggested fuller fake lashes, and although I initially said I wanted a more natural look, she gently suggested trying the fuller ones just to see what they were like, and I'm so glad I did because they were amazing! They photographed really well, but I also appreciate that she wasn't pushy, yet presented a better option I wasn't considering. And Crystal was really responsive, usually with a same-day response, which I learned is something that seems easy, but not everyone does. When you're planning one of the biggest days of your life, it's a small gesture that goes a LONG way to making you feel better. Her prices are really reasonable, and her level of service makes you feel like you're getting the best deal ever. Definitely book with Crystal, you won't regret it!

e is constantly listening and adjusting based on every feedback I had. I found it rare since many artists believe in their own way of doing things, and sometimes they forget to listen. We exchanged many emails to discuss the final look on the big day, and she has been nothing but responsive and helpful. Before the wedding day, I had a bad toothache and my left face was slightly swelling. I texted her and she knew I was stressed about it. On the wedding day, my face was still a little swelling, but Crystal worked her magic and made all my concerns and worries go away!!! I couldn't believe how great the makeup turned out and no one could tell I had a swelling face! Most importantly, she made me feel relaxed and confident under a stressful situation, which is a huge deal on one's wedding. I couldn't thank her more. Also, Crystal is very professional - punctual, responsive and organized. It makes everything so much easier and worry-free. I can't wait to recommend her to all my friends who need a professional makeup!

ay. I did a makeup trial for our engagement photo session a few months before the wedding, and Crystal created a natural look that accentuated my best features. Crystal was able to replicate the same look for the wedding. I received many compliments on my makeup in the engagement photos and on my wedding day. Thank you, Crystal! In addition to being a top-notch makeup artist, Crystal was a pleasure to work with -- she was responsive to emails and flexible with scheduling (about a week before the wedding, I realized that it would be better if she could start at 9 am on our wedding day instead of the previously agreed upon 10:30 am, and she was able to accommodate the change). Also, Crystal's good taste in music may not seem particularly relevant in this situation, but the music she streamed during the trial and wedding makeup sessions helped create a cheerful and celebratory mood, which helped me relax. I am hoping that one of my friends will get engaged soon SO that I could recommend Crystal. :)

line and my biggest must was airbrush. She did exactly what I envisioned how I wanted my make up to look! Everyone at the wedding complimented my make up and it was flawless! It was more than natural just how I wanted! She listened to what I wanted and knew exactly what to do. She also connected me with Patrick Hair Salon for hair in SF and they were all very professional. Crystal is phenomenal and a very talented make up artist. I did a trial with her as well which I recommend because we ended up adding stuff the day of the wedding. I highly recommend Crystal! Her prices are very reasonable and so worth it! clown! But Crystal did such a great job, I'd never received so many compliments before! I truly thought there was no hope for my Asian "monolid", but she proved me wrong and made my eyes big and beautiful. She gave me exactly the look what I wanted, and not only did it photograph well but I felt confident in person too! It is SO important to feel incredible on your wedding day. I almost wish I looked like that everyday, but then I guess it wouldn't be special anymore! I highly recommend Crystal :)

day, my mom, sister, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids looked so pretty! I've never seen my sister look so beautiful in make-up before. I received endless compliments for myself and everyone. Also, we all still looked like ourselves, but just a "glammed-up" version. Also, I made the mistake of not telling Crystal about my wedding date change :( she showed up, and had to rearrange her schedule to accommodate my mistake, but was so understanding. I've had my make-up done quite a few times in the past, walked out overdone, but walked away from Crystal flawless, so happy, and beyond satisfied. I highly recommend her!

out as if they'd been photoshopped. First of all her application is flawless. No clumps no mess. And then she sprays this one spray to make the makeup stay on. Its amazing. o don't listen to what you like and just do what they wanted- which was annoying. also, she used very good products unlike some makeup artists, they use whatever products that may hurt your skin. In the end, the makeup I had in my engagement photos were so beautiful and natrual. I still looked like myself but of course a lot prettier. Our photo shoot lasted 10 hours and my makeup was still in place after we got home. I highly recommend Crystal for your wedding and any events you would need make up services. Too bad I couldn't use her for my wedding as she was t available. So book early!

We were all extremely happy with her service, and two of my bridesmaids asked for her for their own weddings! She only uses the best brands and knows what works best for each person. She's definitely the go to person amongst my group of friends. My wedding was on November 16, 2013. I don't know why it says Oct. 18, 2015.

grateful I am to her. I live in Oregon and I searched for wedding day makeup and after reading the reviews on Crystal, I decided to take this chance...and I'm so glad I did! I didn't have the money or time to do a trial session with her so I was kind of scared that we wouldn't hit the mark with the natural look I was going for. OMG! I had nothing to be scared about apparently because Crystal knows exactly what she's doing! I met her on the day of and she just took one look at my face and knew how to pull off the look I wanted. She's amazing at what she does...TRUST ME! Crystal, thank you so much! The wedding was a blast and I felt absolutely gorgeous in my skin and a large part of that was because of you!

and reliable. As I was going to arrive in CA only a couple of days before the wedding, I opted not to do a trial. Fortunately, Crystal is so talented and listens to your ideas that this was not a problem. On the day of the wedding, Crystal was very accommodating and showed up punctually to a last minute venue change. Crystal applied airbrush makeup on me and traditional makeup on my mom and she did such wonderful job on both of us. When I first looked at myself in the mirror after Crystal was done, I was genuinely surprised - but not in the "that does not look like me" kind of way but in the "wow - I didn't know I could look this good" kind of way. Crystal really knows how to accentuate your features and bring the beauty out of you without totally changing how you look. Although, she is so good that if you wanted to completely change how you look, I'm sure she can pull that off with ease. The makeup lasted beautifully all night. Oh and this is important - Crystal finished ON TIME! When there are so many things going on with so many things that could go wrong, knowing that you have a makeup artist who is awesome at what she does and will finish on time will reduce your list of worries on your wedding day.

p was flawless. Then for my wedding she did an amazing job with all my bridesmaids, my mother, and myself!! My makeup was just flawless. I don't wear makeup often so Crystal walked me through every detail AND made me feel so comfortable. Even with the weather being 90+ the makeup stayed perfectly in-tact, gorgeous and turned out even more amazing in photos! My bridesmaids all loved their makeup as well. I even had 1 girl who had to travel on a red-eye to attend another wedding and her makeup was still in tact and gorgeous for the day after! Can't wait to use her again for my next event =)

riend’s wedding in which I was the maid of honor and I was extremely happy with her work. My skin has never looked so smooth and natural. She made my eyes look big and bright, perfect! She came to the hotel where we were getting ready super early in the morning and was cheerful, friendly, super sweet and extremely professional yet personable. Crystal uses top of the line products which left my skin feeling light and fresh instead of bogged down with product. My make-up looked fantastic all day/night long. The bride was a little worried about some breakouts but Crystal worked her magic and her skin looked incredibly smooth and was practically glowing!! We were all very happy with the results. ok at a person's face and know exactly what will make him or her look best, but also is very open to what the person wants (if the person has a particular look they are going for). I personally trusted Crystal to do what she thought was best for my face and she did not disappoint. Not only did everyone compliment my makeup on my wedding day, but it stayed on the whole night without a smudge (YES! I cried A LOT, danced, laughed, and ate, and my face was still picture perfect till the end of the night. One thing that sets her apart from the rest is that Crystal uses great products and will never compromise the quality of makeup she uses. She is professional, accommodating, really easy going, and personable. My wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was if it wasn't for Crystal. Do not compromise on your make up because you deserve to look and feel your best. Crystal also did my bridesmaids' makeup who all come from different ethnic backgrounds-- black, white, and Asian, and she did a fantastic job on everyone and was very consistent in her delivery. Because of the full schedule of our wedding, my makeup had to be done at 9AM, and lasted all day until the end of the wedding at midnight. Thank you so much Crystal! You truly are the best.
