Please, do yourself a favor and google this vendor. All reviews from the last two years are straight garbage claiming Ryan Thompson not showing to wedding, not answering calls the week of, simply, not showing to any weddings he booked the last two years. Its sad, i meet him from a Bridal Expo in Denver last year and he was cheap, so thought i got a great deal. Months later, I started reading reviews on this guy and omg. A POS scammer we have on our hands here. Book anyone else, besides Colorado Mobile Music, owner is Ryan Thompsen. You are welcome Brides!

Recently attended a wedding with this company as the dj. This company was 30 minutes late to the ceremony which of course everyone is unacceptable. Began playing the wrong song as the groom walked down the aisle. Dj did not have a fun personality to get the crowd up in dancing. The dj did not even have the music the bride and groom wanted played at the wedding. We seriously contemplated plugging in Pandora as it had the music we enjoyed and a far better mix. Looking to save someone else the heartache of this experience, GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY

I recently used Colorado Mobile Music Inc for wedding transportation in August 2023, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. My hope is that by sharing my feedback, I can help others avoid using this unreliable company for their wedding transportation. On the morning of my wedding, the transportation provided was deeply disappointing. The "party bus" was an hour late, causing a significant disruption to our carefully planned schedule. To make matters worse, the bus was far from what we had anticipated. Instead of a party bus, it was a retired city bus that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I had initially booked (3) white school buses and (1) party bus, but I received only 1 white bus and 2 subpar school buses that did not meet the standard I had paid for. The drivers' tardiness was accompanied by a lack of professionalism and courtesy, especially towards the bride and her family. Throughout the day, the owner's unresponsiveness to my calls and texts added to the stress of what should have been a stress free occasion. Colorado Mobile Music Inc also failed to provide the promised coolers, leaving us with no choice but to purchase them ourselves. Additionally, one of the drivers refused to allow any music on board, a clear violation of our prior agreement with the owner. The most frustrating aspect of this experience was the refund process. I had paid over $4400 for the busses on my wedding day and was only able to get a refund for $450. Despite numerous requests for an itemized breakdown, the owner has yet to provide a satisfactory explanation. I have been attempting to resolve these issues with the owner for over a month, but I remain unsatisfied with the outcome. My intention in sharing this review on The Knot is to serve as a caution to others planning their special events. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against choosing Colorado Mobile Music Inc for your transportation needs, as they fell short of their commitments and cast a shadow over my wedding day.

I hired Colorado Mobile Music for my wedding this last summer after doing LOTS of research online. He came highly recommended on Yelp so I asked if he'd be willing to come to Puerto Rico for my wedding. Ryan agreed and even brought another DJ with him, Brandon, to help. These two were AMAZING. They were super professional and brought state of the art equipment. They were incredibly flexible when the weather posed some challenges during the day that required movement of the equipment, and did a great job running the speeches, first dances, and dance floor. Multiple people came up to me throughout the night to tell me how amazing they were, and that they'd never seen a dance floor so alive! The dance floor was the best part of the night, by far. Would definitely hire them again!

I had the pleasure of having DJ Divine & Ivy DJ and photobooth at my wedding. Upon booking Colorado Mobile Music, they share all the resources I needed for a smooth, successful event. When I sent them my wedding timeline along with my Spotify playlists, they took the time to understand and help execute my vision. They even helped me find an instrumental I had a difficult time finding on my own! On the day of the wedding, they made it to the venue early to set up. They made sure to give us a heads up when we moved from one phase of our timeline to another, which helped keep us on track. The music and audio were perfect, and our guests had the best time! Lastly, You will not regret booking them for your event.

We hired Colorado Mobile Music to do the outdoor lighting, photobooth and DJ for our wedding reception and we could not have been more pleased. DJ Zach was responsive, communicative, detail-oriented, and went above and beyond to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and that everything would go smoothly day-of. Our friends raved about the music, the photo-booth was one of the best I’ve experienced (and I’ve attended a lot weddings), and the outdoor lighting was a beautiful addition to our courtyard event. The office staff are also super nice. Would recommend without question!

Colorado Mobile Music did an excellent job as the Chris DJ and Damion MC for our wedding!! We couldn't recommend more highly. They were very professional and easy to work with. We shared some songs we liked and a list of announcements. The MC-ing was well done and super classy. He came with all of the necessary equipment and set up in 3 different spots for our ceremony, dinner, and dancing. All perfectly done. Ryan also provided helpful opinions on my lighting choices and suggestions on what may look better (which I appreciated!) DJ Chris truly did an excellent job keeping the dance floor going with a super fun vibe at all times. And when my family requested Texas Swing music, he kindly pulled aside my husband to confirm it was ok and knew the perfect song to play (which our guests loved). We had such a blast and so did all of our guests - we know the DJ is a very important part of making a wedding fun at DJ Chris definitely delivered!! He even recorded some special highlights from our wedding on a high light real, which we were so grateful to have! DJ Chris and Colorado Mobile Music's team go above and beyond to make your day super fun - thanks again guy's :)

DJ Lee & Our Photobooth attendant (sorry can't remember her name) were all around amazing and we are so glad we worked with them for our wedding! They are incredibly organized, responsive, friendly and easy to work with, and took such care to understand our vision and priorities and make sure they met all of our needs. Cami in the office even made great recommendations on timing for certain songs and offered tailored versions that were better than what we'd envisioned. And they really delivered by doing an incredible job with our wedding music and Lee's MC'ing was perfect! Not only was everything perfect with the music, but they helped keep the whole wedding so on schedule and running smoothly, helping direct guests and announce events, etc. And not to mention the dance floor was on fire the whole time. We couldn't recommend them more!

Colorado Mobile Music came recommended as our wedding DJ. We really wanted someone who could keep our guests on the dance floor and DJ Joe delivered! He was so easy to work with, so quick to respond, and knew exactly what to play to keep the party going. He even was able to extend and cover our after party with only 2 weeks notice. Our wedding really would not have been what it was without him & Ryans team. Thank you does not seem like enough! I would 1000% recommend CMM for all events! Thank you!!!

Bus Driver Paul & Jovan, DJ Ryan and his team were amazing. They did a fantastic job on our wedding, from the ceremony to the reception right down to our logo projected on the mansion, the music was perfect and the night was unforgettable. I never wanted to leave the dance floor! The drivers checked in a day in advance, confirmed address, and kept there phones on them so we could text when we needed rides/shuttles. DJ Ryan and Photobooth Attendant Sam exceeded our expectations in every way possible! They found a perfect blend of what we wanted and what would keep the dancefloor lively. Throughout the entire process, they were organized, responsive, and their experience in the industry showed with every conversation! The audio & levels for the entire ceremony were clear and top-notch quality. We wanted a special segment at the end of the wedding with our favorite genre & artists that were not exactly radio-friendly, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The mixing was phenomenal and their suggestions of what we needed in order to make the night a success were spot-on -- it was a joy to have them! Colorado Mobile Music was amazing to work with. SO glad we went with them for our wedding day. They were a preferred vendor with our venue but we would have gone with them regardless. They were professional, had great communication with us, and easy to work with. Casey was assigned to our wedding and he was amazing! He was so personable, GREAT at what he does, and was so flexible. He had everyone dancing the entire night. We had so many guests comment on how great the music was and how they couldn't believe how many people were dancing the whole night through. 10/10 would recommend.

David was amazing! From our first meeting, he helped guide me with all of the little details I would not have otherwise thought about for our wedding. He helped develop a perfect timeline. A week or so before the wedding, I also asked him if he could edit the song I wanted to use for the father-daughter dance so that I could use the first and last verse of the song and withing 30 minutes he had already sent me back the edit which was AMAZING! He kept everything seamless for the wedding and made our lives so much easier. He continued to check in on me during the wedding to make sure I was happy with the songs and that everything was going as planned. I had so many people come up to me to say he was the best DJ they had ever had at a wedding. The dance floor was constantly full. I truly cannot say enough good things! The service of Colorado Mobile Music in general was great, make sure to text Ryan for same day results. The response time on their end was so quick and they really did just put my mind at ease for that whole part of the process.

Ryan was awesome to work with! Super responsive to all of my random questions, provided great suggestions, and was super communicative day-of our wedding when we had some minor changes to request. The dance floor was lit the whole night, our guests had a great time. I highly recommend working with Ryan and his team for your wedding!

We cannot recommend Colorado Mobile Music enough!!! We worked with Sam and David (our DJ) to plan our music for our April 2022 wedding, and could not have imagined a better night of dancing. We requested specific Country/90's songs and they had no problem finding all of them. They stuck to our must-play and do-not-play lists (the latter of which was super long!). We had a couple guests request specific music on the day-of, and David did a wonderful job of making a judgement call on how much/what to play. He checked in on us a couple times throughout the night. Almost every guest we talked to absolutely gushed about how great the dance floor was - literally no one left the dance floor all night! THE BEST!

My husband and I had DJ Chris for our Wedding and DJ David for the Karaoke after party and both of our events were managed by Ryan phenomenally. From them being punctual on both events the music selection being absolutely remarkable. Ryan's preparation and organization of the songs for his team, was on point as he requested all the lists of songs we preferred, for them to play throughout the events in advance. They are friendly, professional and they attend to detail. I’ve Colorado Mobile Music on more than one occasion to DJ some special events. One event was a sweet 16 & 50th birthday. It was held at a large, local venue usually reserved for weddings. David set the stage for a great evening with fabulous dinner music. He DJ’d and emceed the entire night. It was an A+ evening. But my brother's wedding is where they set the stage, dance floor packed all night. And my Brother couldn't thank me enough. Thanks Colorado Mobile Music.

We used Colorado Mobile Music for our wedding and they were absolutely wonderful to work with! They stuck with us through everything, and were always responsive and easy to communicate with. Day-of, our DJ was professional and laid back. Our dinner and reception had great flow. Our guests loved the music at the reception. They danced all night!

in Colorado for our cousin's marriage we had Ryan as our DJ. He not only did a great job selecting music based on our preferences, but really helped us figure out details that we didn't even know needed to be decided on. He knew all of the right questions to ask to make sure the night was exactly how we had wanted it. Ryan was a fantastic emcee, keeping things on schedule to make sure we had time for all of the special moments we wanted. 10/10 recommend.

We worked with Ryan for our wedding reception DJ services, which included announcements (obviously), background music during cocktail hour, dinner, first dances, bouquet/garter tosses, and silent disco dancing. We actually booked Colorado Mobile Music for our event after finding out they were the most affordable company in Denver that offered silent disco as an option. I would say our experience with this company was average at best. We had some difficulties with responsiveness throughout the wedding planning process, even though Ryan said he was available through both email and text. We were also uncertain how to coordinate when we wanted regular DJ services versus the silent disco, and the directions we received were unclear until we had a phone meeting with Ryan to straighten it out. At the actual reception, we had to correct him on the pronunciation of names of several people in the wedding party (including the groom), even though we had gone over it on the phone about a week before the wedding, and he also spoke so fast during the grand entrance that he was announcing the bride & groom when the bridal party was still walking out. Needless to say, it was a bit awkward to walk out without your names being announced simultaneously. Finally, I was under the impression that once the silent disco started, there would be no more background music playing over the loud speakers, but the background music continued--which in my mind made the silent disco less appealing. All that being said, the wedding reception went so smoothly. Guests knew when important events were happening, and Ryan worked super well with our venue and other vendors. The silent disco also turned out to be a huge plus, as our wedding was at the end of July during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the silent disco allowed for easier social distancing. Our guests had a WONDERFUL time, and I doubt they noticed the small blips that I did! You definitely tend to notice the things you think went wrong when you have expectations of perfection, which I acknowledge that I did. If you end up using Colorado Mobile Music, make sure to communicate your expectations clearly, and everything else will be smooth sailing.

I rented a party bus from Colorado Mobile Music for around 20 people to go from Highlands Ranch to Colorado Springs. I had never been on a party bus, let alone rented one, but it was a fun way to keep the group together while we traveled. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but even though the bus was a little older, it was spacious and got the job done. We provided a custom video for the TVs and had a playlist of music going. We ended up having to pay for an extra hour because there was some traffic, but our driver, Ryan, was very nice throughout the afternoon.

Awesome experience! Would highly recommend. Great price for what you get. We worked with Colorado Mobile Music for our winter wedding up in Estes Park, November of 2019. Ryan did great! He organized the music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and our reception. The dance floor was packed the entire night during our reception! We went with a silent disco and our guests LOVED it. If you plan to book with them, it's best to reach Colorado Mobile Music by phone. Email communication isn't great (which is totally fine, just info for future couples!) Would definitely recommend them to any bride + groom planning a reception.

We had the worst experience with Colorado Mobile Music. We decided to have Colorado Mobile Music be apart of our wedding, never again will I recommend them to anyone and I hope you think twice before hiring them as well. Before the wedding Ryan gave us a good deal on a party bus and photobooth combo, we should have realized right then it was too good to be true. We had the photobooth from 6PM to 10PM. The goal was while the bride and groom took pictures the wedding guests could take pictures in the photobooth in the cocktail area. We find out they set up in the back of the reception hall in a corner and the doors only opened for the hall at 7:30. So our guests just waited around while the photobooth just sat there for a good 3 hours. You'd think they would have moved it outside for the guests to use during cocktail hour, but they didn't. Oh and charges us an hour for setting up, so at this point the photobooth has been there for 3/4 hours unused. After our wedding we decided to call Ryan and try and figure out what happened. That was an experience in itself. Not only was he just rude he had no compassion for the fact that NO ONE used the photobooth. We were hoping for an genuine apology at the very least, but rather we got was "So what now?". We finally got no where with the call so we asked Ryan to send us the pictures and also had to send an email reminder and finally he sent us the photobooth pictures. A total of 10 pictures were taken; our wedding had 420 people. Please don't waste your money and emotion on this company!!

Ryan was easy to work with, and they are very affordable. He played great music and kept the energy up without being too pushy or loud like some DJ's can be. The only negative was that he didn't play one of our "must-play" songs and did play one of our "do not play" songs. Overall, we had a great experience working with them!

We met with Ryan and instantly knew from his personality and professionalism that he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was so easy to work with, showed up and got set up with out us even knowing, played great music and was awesome to work with! Would recommend Colorado Mobile Music - great company!

The day of our wedding got a little crazy, and big days like that tend to do. Our videographer didn't show up, and Cami saved my heart by bringing out a video camera she had, setting it up, and recording the ceremony for us. Not only that, but she was there for 13 or so hours with us, taking pictures all day and night. She stayed longer than we contracted, because we wanted a little longer party, and she was happy to do it. It's been 2 weeks, and I've already received back our wedding photos. Cami is fantastic, fun to work with, and I'm so glad we had her that day with us. Apparently, I can't review the same company twice, so I'll also say here that we also got our DJ through this company, the cost of $1500 was for photography and DJ. The DJ played all of our songs, and we danced our butts off. He was friendly, and wanted to make sure we got everything we wanted. The only thing I will say is, that he left out the dollar dance. We also forgot about it, until the wedding was over. I did email everything we wanted to Ryan the owner, so not sure if it was just a miscommunication between him and the DJ, or what. Not too big of a deal, it was still a great night of dancing with our friends and family!
