Yes, hire them!! This is a great small business to work with! From detailed planning, to sketches, and do overs, Colorado Rose made our cake dreams come true!! It was such a beautiful piece of art that was absolutely delicious!!

By website and reviews alone, I knew I wanted to work with Colorado Rose Cake Co. for my wedding. We did our cake tasting in the middle of Covid and the cake was even better fresh! Heidi was so easy to work with, even when we changed guest count numbers at the last minute! The cake was BEAUTIFUL and even more delicious! We wanted simple and elegant and that’s exactly what we got!

We LOVED our cake from Colorado Rose Cake Company - it was beautiful and delicious!! We got so many compliments from people on the cake (with the father of the groom saying it was the best cake he had ever had!), and as someone who is a chocolate lover through and through, I was blown away by how much I enjoyed the strawberry cake and the lemon cake + blueberry compote/frosting combination. Not only was the cake amazing, but Heidi was a joy to work with. She was so knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional, and worked with us to ensure we had exactly the cake we wanted when there was a good bit of uncertainty about our guest count (COVID times =p). I couldn't recommend Colorado Rose Cake Company or Heidi enough!!

Heidi and Kyle with Colorado Rose Cake Company did the most amazing job with our cake! It was a showstopper and fit perfectly with our theme and venue. Sometimes cake can look beautiful but may not taste great. This was definitely NOT the case with our cake. Not only was it beautiful but it was also delicious and our guests raved about it saying it was some of the best cake they have ever had. We were able to offer our guests three cake flavors (chocolate with peanut butter cream, lemon with raspberry cream, yellow cake with cookies and cream filling) and all were so tasty. Heidi’s cakes are great because they have multiple layers within each tier. Her buttercream work is stunning, high quality, and unique. We also ordered gluten free cupcakes for some of our guests with allergies, and they appreciated being able to taste the delicious cake too! Throughout the planning process Heidi was communicative and professional. She was willing to work with us to help us have the cake of our dreams and even turned on the light on the Tardis we asked her to put on the cake (we are Doctor Who fans and wanted to incorporate that on the cake). She also did an amazing job adding flowers to the cake without overwhelming it. She was very helpful during our consultation and helped us narrow down our vision. Colorado Rose Cake Company did an amazing job with our wedding cake! They were so easy to work with from the cake tasting to the actual wedding day. With COVID, they did a contactless tasting. We picked up the tastings and then had a consultation with Heidi to talk about options and what we were looking for. The cake tasted amazing and was very moist. Heidi was also helpful when we had several questions about what combinations would work well together. She was also very helpful in providing option for cake stands and adding some greenery (to make sure it was sanitized properly for going on top of a cake). She was able to do a beautiful mountain design in buttercream, which fit our wedding perfectly!

She was so great to work with and our cake was beautiful! It tasted even better! I cannot say enough how happy we were with Heidi! We had multiple guests ask us where we got our cake because they loved it so much.

Oh how we love Colorado Rose Cake Company!! We obviously wanted a wedding cake that tastes as good as it looks (which is hard to come by with cakes in general!) and wow did Heidi & crew deliver! We couldn't narrow down on one flavor from their incredible selection, so we picked 6 and have zero regrets! Our cake was so beautiful, and my mouth still waters thinking about it. When we found our venue, nearly every cake we saw photos of in their lookbook was from CRCC, and we know why! Beautiful aesthetic, wonderful to work with, so talented, and delicious! I'll be making up all the excuses to order cakes from CRCC in the near future!

Heidi even delivered our cake tasting to our condo so we could make the most out of our time while wedding planning. The Grooms cake was amazing as well. So many wonderful flavors to choose from. Heidi was great to work with and our wedding cake was incredible. Everyone was impressed not only with the look but also the taste. Many guests said they went back for seconds. I'm gluten free so we did the top layer gf almond/ameretto with red plum blossom filling. It was delicious and I was incredibly happy to have some left over. For the other layers we did the cinnabun with cream cheese filling and almond/ameretto with chocolate frosting. So good.

Amazing. Heidi is the best there is. She was responsive and professional and is so so talented. When we saw our cake for the first time, our jaws dropped. We received many compliments on the looks and the taste of our cake. Would highly recommend!

Heidi is AMAZING!!! We had a beautiful, three tiered wedding cake of our dreams. We had different flavors for each layer, and during our cake tasting, Heidi walked us through some of the most popular options. The actual cake itself was delicious, and I cannot say that about all wedding cakes. The cake was tender, and the buttercream not too sweet. Absolutely delicious. The Design of our cake was beautiful, and exactly what we had in mind. It was all white, with white buttercream roses on the bottom tier, and the hand drawn stenciled flowers on the other 2 tiers. We had fresh flowers then placed gracefully on the cake. Heidi is super easy to work with. She is responsive, organized, nice, has good taste, and is easy to bounce ideas off of. She's wonderful!!

I cannot explain how incredible not only the company and people are, but the cake! It was all so good we couldn’t decide on one flavor so we got 3! All of the guest were raving over it! I cannot wait for our one year anniversary to eat the topper!

Heidi brought our cake vision to life and it was amazing but the taste of the cake was even more amazing!! She is responsive and punctual. She drove up early to ensure she was there for our wedding in Estes Park, due to a snowstorm . The cake was a huge hit and absolutely delicious. Hands down, Heidi makes the best cake I have ever had! We had one virtual meeting with her and just knew she was the vendor for us!! I have never heard people rave about a wedding cake like they did this one!! Heidi has a knack for this like no one else I've ever met. My husband and I were convinced that we didn’t need a wedding cake and that, if we got one, no one would eat it. But then my mother encouraged us to get one anyway, and so we found Colorado Rose, and I could not be happier that we did. Heidi made truly one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had, filled with unique flavors, and she was so kind and creative when we asked her to add a figurine of our Beagle to the side to make it look like he was taking a little taste of the cake. Truly, she did such a marvelous job. 10/10 recommend.

We used Colorado Rose Cake Company for my daughter’s recent destination wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. If you are looking for a cake company, LOOK NO FURTHER! You’ve found the best! Their wedding cake is just that good. It was extremely moist and delicious. Our wedding guests still comment on how great the cake was. I could tell we were in good hands from our first contact with Heidi of Colorado Rose. She provided excellent guidance all along the way - even reassuring me that based on our guest count we would have enough cake with a smaller sized cake than I was initially inclined to purchase. I would give Heidi 10 stars if I could. We had to cancel and reschedule our wedding twice, and finally ended up doing an elopement ceremony instead. Heidi was incredible to work with through the whole process! I can't thank her enough, and the cake is absolutely the BEST I HAVE EVER TASTED! (and I worked in a bakery for 8 years). Amazing company!!! The cakes were delicious and so incredibly beautiful!! My daughter and her fiancé requested special colors and the cake came out perfect! We had to delay the wedding a month and the owners were so kind and willing to change. They are completely professional and so wonderful to work with. My husband and I chose to cancel our originally planned wedding due to covid and pull together a very small, last minute elopement in Estes Park, CO. We called Heidi with Colorado Rose Cake Co 3-4 weeks out from the wedding day hoping she could accommodate us last minute. No tasting, just blind trust. Not only did she kindly and professionally accommodate us but she pulled together the most delicious wedding cake I’ve ever had, EVER. I know what you’re thinking, “of course it was the best - it was your wedding cake.” Trust me, I ate the cake again a couple days later and I promise you this was the best wedding cake I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many. I don’t know how she does it but I’m pretty sure Heidi is a wedding cake whisperer. If you’re thinking about using Colorado Rose Cake Co as your vendor, run, don’t walk. Amazing cake, and beautiful. We had a very simple cake, but it was perfect.

We went back and forth on having cake since our actual reception would be in Kansas City. We decided just a couple weeks before that we wanted cake and I contacted the Colorado Rose Cake Company. She was quick to respond and said that if I was willing to pick it up since they had another even that day, she would make the cake. The cake was beautiful, and SUPER delicious.

We couldn’t be happier with Colorado Rose Cake Company. First, we had a tasting with them out in Berthoud and everything was delicious. Heidi went over all of the options as far as flavors, designs, layering, etc. and we could not believe the options! Colorado Rose was really easy to work with and super patient as we went back and forth because we couldn’t decide between all of the options. We ended up going with a 3-tiered “scraped naked” cake with lemon poppy seed and cinnamon bun flavors, which turned out absolutely amazing! We highly recommend allowing Colorado Rose to be a part of such a special day. Thank you Colorado Rose and we can’t wait to have our cake again on our anniversary!!

I am so impressed with the cake that Heidi made for our wedding at Della Terra. Although I may be a little biased, it was legitimately the best tasting cake I've ever had at a wedding! It was rich, had multiple layers of filling on each tier, and was not a typical fondant cake. During our consultation with her, I also gave her this idea I had in my head and what she delivered was amazing. I told her "you know how the sky looks when the sun is setting and you can still see the sunset behind the mountains but we start to see the night sky and some stars peeping through... that's what I want". The cake was so gorgeous that many people thought it was fake until we cut into it. I literally had no stress working with her both leading up to the wedding and the day of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

CO Rose Cake Co is the best! Our guests could NOT stop talking about our cake, the design and taste! I saw the mountain design and knew it's a work of art, so delicate and perfectly portrays that "Colorado feel" we were looking for. We booked them, and a few months before the wedding had a tasting. There were about 12 different flavors on the plate, all delicious! We chose two very different flavors for the different tiers, vanilla lavender and spiced chai. They were AMAZING! Then about 2 weeks before the wedding we confirmed our number of guests and made the final payment, easy as that! Planning a wedding can be super stressful and CO Rose Cake Co made it so easy!

Working with Heidi and her mother Marci had been such a pleasure from the get go - I fell in love with their mountain cake design (our wedding was in Estes Park), and scheduled a tasting in their home in Berthoud. The directions were very easy to follow and it was pleasant being in a home versus a busy strip mall or shopping plaza. I love supporting smaller businesses. I enjoyed tasting every single piece of cake in front of me with my maid of honor, it was tough narrowing it down to three! We had a three layer cake and chose different flavors for each - the bottom layer was strawberry with champagne cream filling, the middle layer was violet lavender with a honey cream filling, and the top layer was lemon silk with a blueberry cream filling. All were phenomenal. All of our guests, even those who claim to not like sweets, loved our cake - we had the Enchanted Florist in Estes Park add some floral accents, as well. Our cake was so good we hardly had any left over! Hope to have an opportunity to work with them again. :)

Colorado Rose Cake Company has the most delicious cakes/cupcakes we’ve ever had! Heidi is a delight to work with and was excellent at being able to help us figure out how to design the desserts. CRCC is prompt in their responses and flawlessly delivered on the wedding day. We had a guest who had a substantial gluten allergy and CRCC was very thorough in explaining how their facility handled gluten-free cupcakes and the risk of gluten contamination. They were also very accommodating by providing a small box at the individual’s seat with the gluten-free cupcakes. They really went above and beyond for our wedding!. If you want amazing desserts and extraordinary service, we highly recommend CRCC.

The cake is just so good!! I found this bakery at an open house at my venue. They were the first bakery I tried, and I was sold. I did try many others just for fun, and seriously, nothing compared. We then set up an official tasting, which was so much fun! My mom really wanted a traditional tiered cake, and what we got was gorgeous! We went with a cake that looked like a birch tree, and it was stunning in addition to being delicious! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Side note- we did have some guests with celiacs disease and they kindly told us that although they provide gluten free options they could not guarantee no contamination, which I really appreciated. We were able to find a local gluten free baker to help those guests. I just really appreciated the honesty!

We met with Marci in advance of our wedding for a tasting and were given an extensive variety of different cake samples with an equally diverse selection of icing/filling. There were more than enough flavors to choose from. We chose a three tier cake with each tier being a different combination of cake and icing. The combinations of flavors were all wonderful and loved by our guests. The design of the cake was exactly what we asked for incorporating our specific wedding colors and creating a look and feel that exactly mirrored our wedding theme. Our cake was transported without issue up into the mountains to the town of Estes Park where we were wed. We could not have been happier with our cake. Thank you, Marci. Marci made the most delicious, moist, and beautiful cake for our wedding. We are normally not fans of wedding cakes - they are very dry and plain. But ours was absolutely perfect. We received soo many compliments from our guests and ate the cake topper the next day (we couldn't resist, it was incredible!). She was so easy to work with and made the entire process a breeze! Our cake from the Colorado Rose Cake Company was amazing! I simply must start with WOW! Our cake from Colorado Rose was absolutely beautiful! It was everything we hoped for and much more. We came to Colorado Rose after our original venue had some issues and the new venue recommend that we contact Colorado Rose to help us out. Since we lived out of state and were not able to travel back to Colorado before our wedding we could not try our new cake option. But everyone told us not to worry, well they were right. I have been to a few weddings where the cake looked pretty but was generally under whelming on the flavor front. This is not the case with a cake from Colorado Rose, the cake was beautifully decorated and the flavors were amazing. We had a three tiered round cake with three different flavors inside. I have never eaten cake this good. In fact when I hired our DJ he asked me who was supplying the cake and when I told him it was Colorado Rose he immediately perked up and said he couldn't wait to taste it and that as a professional wedding DJ he had tried a lot of cakes in the region and there wasn't a better baker. I fully agree and you will not be disappoint with your choose to hire Colorado Rose for you special event.

We just had our wedding on 7/14/18, and we are still getting compliments about how good our cake was. Marci at Colorado Rose Cake Company was great to work with, and she crafted a cake that was not only delicious, but with real flowers and all, looked exactly how I envisioned. We had a 3 layer cake of crushed strawberry champagne cake with middle layer of chocolate genach and 2 outer layers of honey cream, iced in butter cream. You know how you just want everyone to actually like and eat your cake? Well, one of my friends confessed to me that she ate 4 slices!! We HIGHLY recommend Colorado Rose Cake Company!

So I have to start by saying I hate cake, but my husband had to have it. With that being said Marci at Colorado Rose did such an amazing job on our cake. It looked and tasted so amazing. My husband was particularly into the lavender cake (it's delicious, and that's coming from a non cake eater). She also decorated the outside to look like the mountains and forest we love so much. It was truly amazing.

We could not have chosen a better place to bake our wedding cake! We went with a top layer cake and 100 cupcakes, and it was so delicious and beautiful. Marci was also able to accommodate our dairy and gluten free guests! The flavors are unique and taste so good. We had so many compliments from guests who were wanting more. We live in Indiana, so we didn't transport our top layer home and save it, but I'm hoping to be in Colorado for a future anniversary, and am definitely hoping to have Marci make us a cake then. Until then, my husband and I will be craving it!

Yummy delicious cake. Absolutely gorgeous. Marci was so easy to work with. She even conspired with me to sneak a replica of our camper onto our mountain cake. My husband was super excited and delighted with the surprise.

Marci made us a phenomenal wedding cake inspired by a photo I found on Pinterest. It was a four tiered cake decorated with an ornate, delicate lace pattern she had never used before. She found the pattern, practiced before the wedding, and made the perfect dome tiered cake for us. On top of that, the flavors we selected were delicious - amaretto, chai, and chocolate chip. Our top tier was specifically for us to enjoy on our 1st wedding anniversary and was still tasty one year later. She was flexible with changing our tiers from 3 to 4 after we had our in person appointment. She is very organized and professional and makes once in a lifetime memorable cakes. The price is a little higher than competitors, but well worth it and transparent. I don't know of anyone else who can make such a beautiful, artistic piece while still maintaining amazing flavor. Wow! There is no other reaction but wow. The cake was beautiful and the accents matched our decorations perfectly! And on top of that, it was absolutely delicious! Our cake had three different flavors, and the two lower tiers were fantastic! We can't wait to taste the top tier in a year!

Marci turned our (somewhat blurry) vision for our cake into an absolute dream! We knew we wanted a castle design with certain colors and elements - she had never created something quite like that before but was so excited to make our cake. Through a combination of pictures on Pinterest (none of which were quite what we wanted, but had pieces that we liked) and detailed questions at and after our tasting (which was so fun and relaxed), she was able to create an incredible springtime, ivy-covered 3-tier castle cake within our budget. She even included hidden Mickey Mouse ears on the cake as my husband and I are big Disney fans! The kids at the wedding had a blast spotting those. That's just the design - the taste was even better! Our guests raved about the cinnamon bun cake layer and the chocolate was fantastic as well. So many cakes out there are pretty dry and blah but Colorado Rose Cake's was the perfect balance of cream filling, flavor, and deliciousness. If you have to eat gluten free like me, order your cake here! My gluten free butter pecan cake was phenomenal (and I'm picky about GF baked goods) and Marci tied it in so well to the theme with our main cake. Trust us, you want Marci and her team to be a part of your wedding!

DELICIOUS CAKE!! Marci creates the most uniquely flavored cakes. For our wedding, we chose "Spiced Chai" cake with vanilla cream filling, and "Yellow Butter" cake with rose plum blossom filling. We had to pick two flavors because we couldn't decide on just one! They were all so yummy! She even lets you mix and match the different cake flavors with the different cream fillings. This company is very reasonably priced. If your wedding is in Estes Park, this is one of the only places that will deliver for a low fee. Everywhere else we looked was outrageous because they didn't want to travel that far. Marci is very easy to work with. We told her the design idea we had, and she wrote it all down and created it the day of our wedding! She arrived plenty early and decorated the cake on-sight. It turned out absolutely beautiful; exactly the way we wanted it. We had so many guests giving us compliments that it was the best wedding cake they've ever had! Friends were saying they usually don't eat the cake at weddings because it's too bland or too dry... but everyone was asking for seconds! We highly recommend Colorado Rose!!

Amazing! Seriously the best cake we've ever had. Wonderful service. They worked really hard to meet our specific needs, which was a challenge because my husband and I wanted totally different things, and everything turned out amazing. Not one piece or grooms cake, wedding cake, or chocolate covered strawberries were left. Everyone raved about how delicious it was, and we couldn't agree more! Knocked it out of the park. The wedding cake and cupcakes were out of this world and the surprise groom's cake came out better than anticipated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Marci and her team. My guest raved about how unique and delicious everything was.

Marci made our wedding cake, and it was amazing. Marci met with us and we had a tasting with her at her house. She had books and books and even a display of cakes she has done before. The options were endless with her. She sat and listened to exactly what we wanted. Dylan and I had two different flavors and two different layers for our cake. Triple chocolate cake with salted Carmel filling and vanilla chai cake with honey vanilla filling. The flavors were a hit. Marci was even able to accommodate the fact that we wanted whipped cream frosting. We were so impressed with the taste. Marci also made a customer letter for the top of the cake and we were able to rent a log stand form her as well. She responds to email s very quickly. I would highly recommend Marc!

Obviously this shop is renown for quality cakes., with the awards from theknot.com, however when I contacted them this week to book a wedding reception in June 2017, they rudely informed me they could not deliver to Fort Collins on my date. I guess they could have worse problems than too much business, but declining a date 10 months out? Ridiculous. I suggest you take your web page down or increase your staff until you can service your local customers to the standards of so many awards.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious!!! We loved the strawberry cake with champagne filling. Our guests loved it too all the cake was gone at the end of the night. Marci was very flexible to work with as we changed our order, design, size, and flavors a few times throughout the planning process.

I loved working with Marci. She was delightful and made beautiful and tasty cakes. She even got on board with adding a grooms cake last minute. Highly recommend!

Marci did an amazing job with our wedding cake, cupcakes and groom’s cake – I was so impressed with the quality of her work and the careful detail that she put into everything! Marci was incredibly easy to work with, very responsive to emails, and super willing to accommodate the fact that I am gluten free and wanted a small gluten free wedding cake (lavender with honey filling – yum!) The presentation of all of the sweet treats was breathtaking, from the pearls on the cupcakes to the etched initials in our wedding cake and the CU Buffs themed football cake she made for my groom! Everyone loved the out of the ordinary flavors and fillings – they were so delicious I don’t think there was one cupcake left at the end of the night! I couldn’t be happier with Colorado Rose Cake Company and I’m so thankful to Marci and her team for their amazing work!

Marci was amazing to work with! She designed a beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us! People still ask us about the cake! The flavors of each tier were so yummy! They were actually flavors that I normally do not care for, but hers .... WOW ... AHHHMMMMAAAZZZZIIINNNGGGG!!!

Absolutely stunning design and taste! Marci was wonderful to work with as well. There was not one guest that didn't say to me, "omg where was that cake from?" It was awesome and I wanted one of each flavor. I am not one to post things on social media but I feel this one is an exception because there is no other company I would recommend more.

As a non-cake lover, I wasn't super excited about cake tasting and choosing a cake vendor. Colorado Rose not only made this step enjoyable, but also very easy! All her cakes are delicious and the flavor we chose (almond poppyseed and lemon silk) were amazing. We had guests compliment our cake design as well as flavor! She worked with us to fit our budget while still encompassing our overall look/feel! Highly recommend!

Marci was fantastic and the cake was beautifully done! Each layer was a different flavor and she nailed it. The cake was stunning with the chocolate frosting and the mountain and tree design that she did in to it, very classic and elegant! We're a week later and still have cake left and it didn't dry out, it tastes as good as it did that night!

Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful but it was exceedingly delicious as well! We received so many compliments about our wedding cake, and we were thrilled to be able to nibble on the leftovers of Honey- Lavender and Cinnamon Bun for breakfast for the next few days. We loved our cake!

We really enjoyed working with Marci! She took the time to sit down with us, guide us through a personal tasting, and talk to us about our vision for the cake and desserts for our reception. Although her cakes look amazing and taste even better, she offers more than just cake. Our guests had rave reviews about all the sweets. Everyone found something they loved. Delivery was seamless, the cake was at the reception, decorated, with cake topper on, before the party even started. Would highly recommend Colorado Rose for any wedding or other celebration needing a special dessert.

Our cake was beautiful and delicious from Colorado Rose! Marci was easy to work with, and flexible when working with a smaller budget. We picked the Aspen tree design, and loved how it came out!
