ls pre-marital counseling, "marriage education," and after having gone through it, I would agree with that! In just three sessions, we feel like Keith took the time to get to know us, and has a fantastic background to be able to write our ceremony. He starts by having you take a couple of assessments, which you and your fiance take separately, then uses those as the basis for the conversations during the marriage education sessions. What we found was that our conversations with Keith during the sessions were so rich because we didn't have to deal with telling the "back story" or identifying our own issues - the two assessments that we took did that for us. We were then able to get to the heart of the matter with him present, guiding us to have conversations that we wouldn't otherwise have gone as deep into on our own. His entirely neutral guidance allowed us to open up our lines of communication with each other without creating any sort of conflict. My fiance and I ended up having much more revealing, much deeper conversations because of the conversations that we started with Keith, and I know that we are a stronger couple for it. The key, though, is that our conversations were never an argument, because Keith helped us develop deeper compassion for each other through having us take the personality assessments, then explained to us how those revealed our motivation for life, where we get our energy/satisfaction from, and how those results should help us better understand each other as human beings. After having done marriage education with Keith, I can promise that not only was it extremely helpful to our relationship, he has an even better idea of how to personalize our ceremony, showing our guests the different facets of our personalities, and how that contributes to how much we love each other. If you are on the fence about doing marriage education with him - do it. Through the insights that he shared with us, we have a much stronger basis for our marriage.

The only negative we have- was because we were getting married in peak wedding season, we didn't get to see our draft ceremony till a few weeks before the wedding since he was so busy. But it was so great and we only had some minor edits we wanted and had it all finalized only a few days later.

Ceremony goes, even though we didn't really know ourselves. We worked via email and he put several drafts together for us to review and we were able to revise and make changes to the material. We received countless comments from family and friends praising Keith and the ceremony he put together. Keith was professional throughout the entire process and very flexible with regards to vows and inclusion of "guests of honor" in the ceremony, as well as the organization of the ceremony events. He provided several examples of vows for us to choose from and tweak to make our own, as well as a huge selection of readings for us to pick from, which made the process much easier on us. Once drafted, we had the chance to review and make changes (though it didn't need any) to the ceremony script. Keith also sent us a copy of the final script for posterity. In short, we HIGHLY recommend Keith. His price is fair for the amount of work and thought that he puts into each ceremony; I doubt if anyone in Colorado creates more special ceremonies.

many amazing ideas to help guide us along the way. We were sent a very detailed list of questions to answer about our relationship and our story. It seemed excessive at first BUT I am 100% happy that we both put so much time into the questions. When we recieved our first draft of the ceremony a few weeks before the wedding, it was clear and well put together (no surprises). We made a few minor changes but other than that we trusted Keith with the bulk of the ceremony. The day of the wedding, Keith was on time and ready to go. He was calming and kind (and very patient with our boisterous bridal party) which makes a HUGE difference when you are nervous about being in front of so many people. I don't even know where to start with the ceremony itself. On paper it looked great BUT this does not even begin to describe how special it was. We had family friends who didn't even know our story but were in tears. Every person we talked to that night would come up saying "Congratulations - that ceremony was the best we have ever attended". Family from out of town that we had only met together a few times were saying that by the end of the story they felt that they knew our entire story from start to present. Seriously, everyone single person we talked to said the entire day was beautiful but the ceremony was what made it so amazing (which is not the norm). y professional. To craft our ceremony, he sent us a list of homework questions - our views on everything from how we met, to love and marriage, to what we wanted to share with our parents. Keith then took all those stories and anecdotes and wove them together into an incredibly personal ceremony that shared our story, reminded us why we wanted to get married, and had the entire audience laughing, crying, and laughing while crying. The vast majority of the vendors we used for our wedding we knew - personal friends in one way or another. It was amazing how many compliments we got on our ceremony though, and NO ONE believed that we had only met Keith once for coffee before hiring him. He did an INCREDIBLE job, and I can't thank him enough. I was a little leery of spending more on the officiant, as I know there are some cheaper ones out there - but it was the best money we spent.

I did not want my Ceremony in a church or religious by any means. Instead, I wanted a very personalized and memorable Ceremony, not one that people had to drag through and not remember. I believe every single guest of 120 at some point walked up to us and said, "that was the best and most personal wedding ceremony I have ever been to." He gave us some homework to go over that allows him to get a sense my wife and I's relationship and he took notes during our one meeting with him. During the ceremony, I felt like Keith knew me my whole life. He does such a wonderful job taking the words you have written and make it beautiful. Originally, we didn't know what we wanted out of the ceremony. He comes with ideas after meeting with you and turns your homework into a masterpiece. Not only are people crying because of the intimate moments he knows about your lives, but also laughing at the funny times you and your partner have had. He is able to entertain without being the focus of attention of the wedding, making him the best officiant. If I had to do it again, I would choose no one else.

When we were looking for an officiant we weren't sure what we wanted or how much we wanted to spend. After meeting with Keith and discussing what our ceremony could be if we worked with him, we were really excited about our ceremony and felt the minimal extra cost above what we had originally considered would be worth it. It definitely was worth it. Keith took answers from our questionnaires and put together a beautiful, personalized, fun, sweet and just amazing ceremony. Through the ceremony we were able to share our relationship with our friends and family and help them see how we came to that moment. Also because of Keith's unique approach he stood next to us (or moved down the aisle in front of us depending on the moment) while we held hands and faced our guests, which was really fun, because we could see everyone and feel like they were actually there with us. You do have to do work to get it to be so personal (a 30 question document is sent to you to be completed) but it is well worth it. Keith's delivery is spot on and he has an excellent presence in front of the crowd. He also has you standing facing the crowd so everyone is able to watch you the whole time, which is great. s hard to create a ceremony that is unique and personalized. When Keith sent me the draft of our wedding a few weeks before, I alsmost cried reading it I was so touched. Having it performed in person at the wedding was more meaningful than I can describe. After my wedding ceremoney many of my guests told me it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to. That it was so moving, special and just all around enjoyable. If you want a ceremony that you will really remember and cherish forever, then Keith is the person for you!

we hired Keith. BUT - the ceremony lasted for 45 minutes instead of the 25-30 that we requested. When we told Keith we wanted music, he almost seemed to resent it because (my opinion here) it took the focus away from him and his ceremony/ideas. He sends you a questionnaire that you have to fill out, and he builds your ceremony off of that - which is great. We went through and did a bunch of editing of the ceremony, so in the end, it did feel like we helped quite a bit in writing it. I suppose I am dissatisfied with the cost of his service, with the quality of the original ceremony, and the value for the money. Overall, I loved the ceremony itself, and it was very personal and unique and reflected us as a couple, which is what we wanted.

When I first met with Keith, I was a bit reserved about having such a personalized ceremony as I am a very private person and I wasn’t sure how I would feel putting so much information out there. I’m sooo happy I did. Keith’s delivery of the ceremony was fantastic. He has such a unique way of presenting, as he stands to the side of the bridal party, making the bride and groom, who face the guests the whole ceremony, the center of attention instead of himself. We asked for some traditional elements as well as some humor to shake things up a bit and he included them both. He also added a few elements to our ceremony that we’d never heard of before, but he did so with our go ahead. Keith is more than willing to work with you and offer advice while letting you be the creative director of the entire ceremony. Keith made our ceremony absolutely perfect!
