r and makeup, as well as all my bridesmaids, both moms, and flower girl hair! Only complaint is that Courtney made us feel very rushed. We were scheduled to begin hair and makeup at 9:30 am - the venue did not open for us to arrive until 9am. The entire group was in the bridal suite by 9:05 am. I had gifts for the ladies to open, including the robes to wear while getting H/M done. We were interrupted by Courtney 2-3 times before 9:30 and told to hurry up so they could get started. They ended up getting done by 12 and were actually contracted for time to work until 1:30 pm, so I felt the rushing was extremely unnecessary. She also shut the door where H/M was getting done when we "got too loud" in my bridal suite. Overall, I was very happy with the end product but we were a little put off for the few hours she was in the room with us. I gave 4/5 stars as the work itself was amazing on me and everyone in my bridal party.

This last time I came to her for makeup before my engagement session and she even spent extra time fixing my hair I previously had done at a salon cause she knew I was not happy with it (hair fix not pictured). She offers a variety of services other than hair and makeup and I would highly recommend her for any service as she takes her time and truly cares about her clients!

I had little flower girls who were very chatty and Courtney and Chastity made them feel very special too! They really take pride in their work and are able to take your vision and bring it to life! I was a little hesitant about my eyes being much darker than I had initially intended and discussed with Courtney, but my pictures did turn out great because my eyes were so dramatic. My mother and I also noted our faces were a little washed out and whiter than we normally wear our makeup so we did do some touch ups to make us look more “us.” Courtney and her crew were great though and allowed us to enjoy the morning together getting ready! My hair and makeup also lasted all night! Prices are comparable to other hair/makeup artists!

ad my trial with Courtney and I was blown away. I felt so confident and beautiful and knew whatever state my skin was in on my wedding day she could handle it. She goes above and beyond and talked with me about products etc. to help improve my skin before the big day. Taking care of your skin dictates how your makeup looks and she provides information to help. Her prep sheets and skin prep are amazing! All of my wedding party was blown away by how their skin felt. She pays close attention to detail to make sure that you look exactly how you want. My wedding was in August and it was HOT. I was concerned with how my makeup was going to hold up, but each time I checked you could not even tell I was sweating. The makeup lasted all day and night. She did makeup for all my bridesmaids and the mothers and everyone looked gorgeous... ALL NIGHT. She was truly able to capture each persons style. Kait did our hair and WOW. She is so talented. Everyone came with pictures of what they wanted and not only was so able to recreate it, but it was even better than the pictures. Everyone's hair held all night and looked beautiful. Trust me you want everyone in your wedding party to have their hair and makeup done professionally. I highly recommend booking Colour by Courtney!

Courtney and Katie showed up on time, were very efficient, and finished my whole bridal party on time! Not to mention all my girls looked amazing and were very happy with their hair & make-up. She doesn’t do the same thing for every person like most do. She works with your skin tone and she asks what makeup you normally wear so it’s more natural. And, she communicates SO well. Communication is key during wedding planning and hers was the greatest by far! Katie was our hairstylist again for both my sisters wedding and mine. She makes any hair type look gorgeous and she can make your hair into the exact photo you show her on your phone. She’s also so sweet and down to earth. They’re both definitely the ones you want with you on your big day!!! 17/10 recommend!!!

session. Sadly, we had to cancel our May wedding due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The task of contacting our vendors was by far one of the hardest parts of the whole cancellation process. We clearly understood the financial impact the crisis would have on all of our vendors, and hated having to do it. Having said that, Courtney didn't even hesitate. She responded with compassion and understanding. That is the kind of vendor a bride needs when facing such a sad and difficult time. I would highly recommend her, not just because she is a great makeup artist, but more importantly, she is an amazing person.
