Working with Columbia Florist was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. Connie was so nice and helpful and made sure our wedding day went so smoothly. Connie worked with us on our budget and stuck to it. Her prices her reasonable and her work is amazing. She delivered the flowers to 3 different locations and it all went flawlessly. The centerpieces were beautiful, my bouquet was stunning, as well as bridesmaids bouquets, the baskets for the alter at the church were incredible, and my favorite of all was the fresh flowers used to decorate my cake and cake table. It was all stunning and the exact vision I had!

As an event planner, I have worked with Connie and her team for over 10 years and have hired them as a vendor for every organization I worked for. That’s why it was a no-brainer to hire Columbia Florist for my wedding ceremony and reception. I will start off by saying that Connie is an angel. She is such a pleasure to work with. She understood my vision and happily made any adjustments that I needed. She was able to work within my tight budget without sacrificing my vision or quality, and I was so appreciative of that! On our wedding day, the flowers were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. RUN don't walk to book Connie and Columbia Florist for your wedding flowers! The centerpieces for our wedding were so stunning and I LOVED my bouquet so much I couldn't put it down! Connie also did the flowers for my sister's wedding in 2015 and they were equally beautiful. Connie is so easy to work with. A phone call or a quick visit to the shop to talk about your vision and that's it. She followed through on every ask and the flowers made the reception room look stunning. The flowers are also incredibly affordable! We love Connie and recommend her to all our friends who get engaged!

Connie is amazing. She consulted with me at the store pre-COVID and then over the phone many times during COVID. With the change of dates, my change in vision also changed a bit and she was ready to tackle anything I threw at her. Her flowers were absolutely gorgeous and she beat every other florists price by a substantial amount. Her shop added pops of color to the bouquets to pick up the color of the girl’s dresses. My bouquet was UNBELIEVABLE. It weighed A LOT and was massive but it was absolutely STUNNING. I got sooo many compliments on how gorgeous it was and in all of my photos I can’t stop staring at it. Highly recommend!

I got married during the COVID19 pandemic. Connie was extremely flexible with me and allowed me to edit my package. I shared my thoughts about the vision and her work went above and beyond what I expected. The flowers arrived on time, were beautifully made, and lasted for several days. So happy I choose this place. Pricing was perfect and Connie was so flexible.

We were so happy with our flowers for our wedding. Connie did a mock-up for us the week of the wedding, and nailed the look we were wanting. The day-of, delivery went smoothly and all of the set up was done perfectly - the archway greenery, the ceremony aisle flowers, all of the bouquets etc, were so beautiful. My flowers were absolutely beautiful and made my pictures look incredible. I sent Columbia some photos of inspiration and they nailed it! they traveled to Newport from NY and were affordable and covered our reception centerpieces, ceremony, bouquets, etc. They do all flowers for anything my family ever needs!

When we were planning our wedding he automatically said our flower arrangements must be from them and that’s exactly how it was. I love this florist! Connie is so easy to work with and made sure everything was perfect for our wedding. They were right on time to deliver the bouquets to me and the centerpieces to the reception hall. Connie and her team took what was one of the most difficult parts of the wedding planning process for my wife and I and quickly made it one of the highlights! Then through multiple recommendations we were lead in Connie's direction and never looked back. She made a sample centerpiece within 10 minutes of meeting us, made a 2nd one at a follow up appointment, and thought of every single detail in-between, some that never even crossed our minds. When we saw the ballroom for the first time and saw the centerpieces, sweetheart table and cake all decorated it truly took our breath away. Connie & the Columbia Florist team is Amazing. I really wanted "tall centerpieces" at our reception, and otherwise wasn't knowledgeable enough to really have any requests - just something classy and classic, without breaking the bank. The first time I came in she whipped up an example centerpiece & I told her I'd trust her judgement on the bouquets, altar flowers & other personals. Everything was great, delivery was on schedule, and they were so easy and chill to work with. Show them pictures of what you're looking for, or just describe it (or like me, have them do the thinking for you), and they will make your flowers beautiful!

Columbia Florist doesn’t have enough online reviews but I was lucky enough to find them when searching for Florists near my wedding venue. They did the flowers for my wedding on October 7, 2017 at the Marina Del Rey and I’m so happy I found them! Their shop isn’t as fancy looking as some of the other recommended Florists in the Bronx and Westchester but they’ve been in business for a long time and are more concerned about providing a quality product then having an extravagant show room and charging you an outrageous price for wedding flowers. It wasn’t until speaking to one of my co workers who lives in Riverdale that I found out the have a rich history in the neighborhood. Connie, who is one of the owner’s daughters has a calm demeanor and takes the time to plan out the arrangements with you. She prepared some samples for the wedding prior to creating a contract and allowed me to take them home afterwards! She even offered my family and I some cookies her family had baked the night before. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful the day of the wedding that guests were rushing to take the centerpieces after the wedding was over! The flowers looked beautiful in the pictures taken by friends and family and I look forward to seeing how they look in the professional photos!

Connie at Columbia Florist is great! I was never able to step foot into the store since I was planning my wedding from a different state. We communicated through email and phone calls. We ordered our bouquets and boutonnieres from Columbia florist - I got it all for a great price! I really wanted dusty miller and billy balls and while other florists that I spoke to told me that it would be difficult to find and it would result in a price increase. This was not the case with Connie - she was very positive and said they were not an expensive addition at all! While some of the filler flowers we spoke about were not in the bouquet, it still ended up looking fabulous! I was very happy!

Connie & Cathy are amazing! I shared my vision with them (which changed a time or two) and they made it happen. It's an added bonus that they are very affordable, always available and willing to work within your budget.

Amazing! My aunt took me to Columbia florist (who her church uses all the time for their events) and I was amazed by their decorations for my wedding. The bouquets, centerpieces, decorations around my gazebo, everything was stunning. Connie was able to bring my pinterest-inspired high centerpiece vision to life. Strongly recommend if you're having a wedding in the Bronx.

Columbia Florist is A M A Z I N G! I was actually referred to them by my priest who works with these florists a lot and I am so glad for the recommendation! I spoke with Connie about what I wanted for my wedding - from the flowers at church to the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres to the decorations at the reception venue and everything was beyond perfect. They do amazing work, they are willing to work with you and your budget and they were actually less pricey than I had originally anticipated. Columbia Florist provided the flowers for our wedding day on August 19th at the New York Botanical Gardens and they did a fantastic job! The flowers were beautiful and the altar they created for our ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of their work and the attentive customer service provided by their staff, especially Connie. High marks all around!

I cannot thank Connie enough for my beautiful flowers. My wedding was all the way in Smithtown and without hesitation she said well do it. She is very professional and has a great heart. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and when I saw the final centerpiece sample she blew my mind. My guests cannot stop talking about my flowers and how beautiful the arrangements looked. I bouquet was gorgeous. I asked her to combine specific colors for my bridesmaids and they looked stunning. My wedding was a dream come true, Connie and her team did an extraordinary job. Unbelievable! They designed a centerpiece for my husband and I when we came in to talk to them, and when we asked if we could have blue flowers instead of white they were able to transform the flowers in seconds and give us an even better idea of what our tables would look like. They came early and built our Chuppah and it was even more spectacular than what we envisioned. we gave them an idea for the girls bouquets and they took it and ran with it. Our wedding flowers were fabulous and Connie was great to work with. I would recommend Columbia florist for any event! Their work is truly incredible.

We loved working with Connie and her team. They created a chuppah, centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages for our wedding - and every single item came out beautifully - more beautifully than we even imagined. We had some vague ideas of what we wanted the flowers to look like, but the final product was Connie's great taste and creativity. The centerpieces were gorgeous and tasteful. The bouquets were beautiful and romantic. Connie and her team were very communicative and so professional - they made both of us feel relaxed about the day-of. We give Columbia Florist a big thumbs up! We had a small wedding in Midtown in October and Connie at Columbia Florist put together some beautiful centerpieces, bouquets and also a gorgeous chuppah for us! She was also very willing to work within our budget and overall was very reasonably priced as compared to the other florists in the New York Area. The one small downside is that she is the only contact for events off site and is super busy setting up various events, so it is a bit hard to get a hold of her in the weeks leading up to the wedding. However, you really don't need to worry, she will come through and do an amazing job! They were on time, set up everything beautifully, and it was much better than we had imagined! Thank you Connie!

I got married on 8/16/15 and cannot thank Columbia Florist enough for making the flowers for my wedding (from the bouquets to the centerpieces) look so beautiful and their service so efficient. They are great to work with -- Connie is a professional with years of experience in this industry. She answered all my detailed questions about delivery times of the flowers to and from various locations with such ease and was able to accommodate specific requests. Columbia Florist also provided the runner to go down the aisle at the wedding ceremony and we were able to use their card box for the reception. Columbia's prices are also very reasonable and fair. We got many compliments on our flowers. My husband and I are so happy with Columbia Florist's services at our wedding and would highly recommend them to others.

My husband and I got married on 8/14/15 at the Villa Barone Manor in Throggs Neck, and Columbia was our florist. I had very specific designs that I wanted, and Connie listened to me very carefully and reviewed all the pictures I provided. My flowers came out absolutely perfect! They were better than I could have imagined and looked just like the pictures I showed Connie. They were fresh, beautiful and smelled delicious. Columbia did an amazing job. My bouquet was gorgeous, and it was delivered to my apartment right on time along with my bridesmaids' bouquets and my mother's corsage. When I arrived at the venue, the centerpieces took my breath away. I ordered tall pieces with hanging crystals, and they made the reception hall look even more beautiful and elegant. The staff was still there, arranging flower petals and candles on the cake table and dais and everything came together beautifully. Columbia also decorated the ceremony space, which was an outdoor garden. They lined the aisle with columns and flowers and even decorated the gazebo with tool and more flowers. I did not have a flower girl, so they honored my request of having the runner and petals already set up before we walked down. The boutonnieres also came out perfect. All the flowers stayed looking fresh the entire night. I can't say enough nice things about Connie and Columbia. They did an amazing job. My guests were very impressed with the flowers. The price was very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I will be using them again in the future.

I dealt with Connie, who was pleasant and helpful. She offered a couple of samples before the wedding so I knew exactly what to expect out of my centerpieces on the day of the wedding. What can I say about Columbia Florist besides the fact that they are truly amazing. Connie was so attentive to every detail of my wedding. We were able to go see samples of the arrangements, and she was so receptive to my vision. Everything came out perfect, especially my bouquet and table arrangements. I couldn't have possibly been happier with the flowers Columbia provided for us. Not only are they a lovely small business-- but they create the most beautiful flowers! I was absolutely in love with our bouquets-- I've never seen ones so beautiful! They got me the most amazing blue orchids I've ever seen-in my bouquet, as boutonnieres, in centerpieces! Guests were ecstatic to take home the centerpieces--which had to be a challenge for Columbia- as I went DIY on the vases--chalkboard painted wine bottles-- and they inserted the flowers. No choice I made-save for the groom-- was better than going with Columbia! They cemented my choice-- I'm never buying flowers elsewhere if I can ever avoid it!

When it came time for choosing a florist for our November wedding, there were no options for us. We were using Columbia Florist. My family has been using Columbia Florist for all of our special events for over 40 years. Connie and her team made up the most beautiful floral arrangements for the tables that I have ever seen. My wedding bouquet was so amazingly beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes when I saw it. All of the bridal party flowers were incredible. I knew Connie and her team were going to do a wonderful job with the flowers for our wedding, but, they completely exceeded my expectations!! Connie has a calming nature which is so needed for a stressed bride with a lack of knowledge of flowers. Columbia went over and beyond in their efforts to make our wedding beautifully decorated. Their floral arrangements were very well thought out, beautifully put together, and contained the freshest of flowers. Our guests were amazed by their arrangements and those that took them home could not be believe how long they lasted. And compared to some other local florist, the price left us feeling like we could breathe. Don't be fooled because their shop may not look as fancy or elegant as others, they are premium quality and service.

we had a great experience working with this florist. We visited them several times and they were able to provide us with amazing floral arrangements for both the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. they provided several trials and even gave us extra props for decorating.

Columbia was my best vendor- and I had an incredible wedding. She was a joy to work with. I had no idea what I liked and she just made a sample and I immediately fell in love. Prices start at $75 a centerpiece, which is unheard of. Everyone talked about how beautiful the centerpieces were. My bouquet and the boutinears were also incredible. I must have made like 5 calls changing parts of my order and she was always patient with me. Trust me, go visit Connie. I went from south brooklyn, 2 hours each way, and it was worth it!

This florist has the skill and customer service of a florist that only specializes in weddings. The quality and skills of the arraignments they prepared for me would have you thinking they spend all day, everyday just putting together wedding floral, when in fact they must help daily customers, funerals, special occasions and everything that comes their way. I worked with Connie who is an absolute gem! We had an original budget set and when I was facing some financial difficulties she didn't blink an eye when I requested to reduce my budget. In order to cut costs she let me rent beautiful tall vases that would hold my centerpieces and create a tall luxurious setting! The demo Connie created was absolutely gorgeous and when I saw the final product on my wedding day I was shocked that she was able to make the centerpieces look even more amazing!!! The colors were vibrant, the flowers plentiful, everything was coordinated to perfection. To my surprise Connie even added extra floral arrangements that I never asked for to display over the fire place at the venue and other key tables. Other florists I spoke with wanted to charge us twice as much as what Columbia Florist quoted, saying we'd never get the same look, nor would our flowers be fresh. Well I'll tell you to be skeptical of companies who make those comments because Columbia Florist gave us superb service, fresh flowers, vibrant colors and endless species to choose from. I will recommend this floral shop to all of my friends who get engaged and anyone who is looking for floral for their special occasion. Also, ask for Connie, she's amazing!!!
