Hi, my name is Jeff Blake, and I'd love to photograph your wedding! I've been a full-time professional photographer since 1998, working until 2009 as a staff sports and newspaper photographer. Since then, I've been a wedding and freelance photographer. When I'm not photographing weddings, I photograph all of the University of South Carolina home football and men's basketball games for USA Today, one of my many clients. I have a beautiful wife Meg and two young, amazing daughters.

What more can I say other than that Jeff is absolutely amazing! He was so kind and informative the day we met with him, and always very professional. His photo packages are great! We went with his platinum package which includes everything you need/want, however you can choose from an ala carte menu as well. His packages are also cheaper than other photographers in town, but as far as I'm concerned, the quality is better!! He is always very quick to respond to emails to answer questions or provide updates. After taking our portraits, he had them on our own website in only a few days and had mailed my cd copy only a few days after that....in all, about a weeks time! Our wedding photos took only about 2 weeks to put up on the website, but we have over 1000 in color alone! (Jeff takes his pictures in color, however also makes a copy of each in black and white) One of my most favorite things is that Jeff gives you a CD of all of your photos which includes the rights to the pictures (very important to me!!) Jeff is a photo journalist, so he does pose you for your portraits, but throughout our wedding and reception he was right in the moment (never in the way) however, almost always out of sight. I rarely remember seeing him, but our pictures show differently. We have some of the best candids I have ever seen!! I'm so glad we chose him for the best day of our lives, because he captured it better than I could have imagined. I would hive him 10 stars if I could.

Photography was the one area where we knew we were willing to splurge because it was one of the more importants aspects of the wedding for us. Jeff Blake was wonderful to work with, and we love that we get cds of his photos from which we can make as many prints as we want on our own or we can order prints from Jeff's web site. His prices per print are extremely reasonable. We were impressed with the cds we received too in that he made a cover for each disc and even put an image and title on the discs themselves. We went on our honeymoon, and came back to an email with a link to our wedding photo web site, which we promptly shared with all our friends and family. Talk about quick service! Jeff is a photojournalist, which we preferred over the strict portraiture style of photography. He was fun to work with, and managed to capture so many wonderful moments at our wedding without the help of a second photographer. He was literally everywhere! We don't know how he does it! We know he has recently updated his pricing, but he is worth it.

Jeff and his team were fabulous! I wouldn't have changed anything about what he did-- he got fantastic candids, but also did a great job with portraits and formal photos as well. He is based in Columbia, but covers all of SC. I've already recommended him to friends and family, and they were just as happy with him as we were!
