DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE !! we booked this and put down a $2,700 deposit for my daughters wedding in Dec 2025 , and no one has contacted us and we couldn’t get a hold of anyone for a...
contract , we made an appointment to meet with someone finally and no one was when we got there . We tried calling again multiple times and talk to the manager / owners and they wouldn’t talk to us we were told. We had to book another venue because we weren’t getting any progress with them , finally a new coordinator called us and we told her what happened and we recorded the conversation with her saying “ they will refund us the $2,700 “ she said she will get it handled with accounting and let us know when we can expect the refund of course now no one is answering the phones and we can’t get a hold of anyone . VERY , VERY poor business ! I highly recommend anyone finding another venue !!!!!
If you are looking for a relaxing and fun wedding book here!!! When Columbia Woodlands says that they will take care of everything they mean it! I didn’t have to worry about set up...
or clean up and got to spend time with my loved ones! The chef was able to come with with a custom menu for my fiancé and I and the food was the best I have ever had! Seriously book here if you want your dream wedding!

g weekend it made the whole experience amazing our friends and families were about to drive around on the golf cart and relax and have fun! Zoe the wedding planner did such an amazing job and took care of everything for me so I as able to have a relaxing and fun wedding day without all the stress of being a bride. Best day ever!!
There is no other place in Northeast Ohio like Columbia Woodlands (CW). It's a campus of glamourous cabins and tents will amazing scenic views, hiking, and wildlife. My wedding day...
pictures on the property were stunning partially because my talented photographer, but also because it's a genuinely beautiful place.
We rented out 7 of the 8 locations on the property for the wedding weekend and it really added to the experience. Our whole family and closest friends got to have a shared experience, and that is truly a once and a lifetime experience.
And it is a remote, gorgeous place to a have my 100-person intimate wedding. The Spring House and patio is the perfect rustic outdoor venue, but what really sold it as a wedding location for me was the ceremony pavilion. The pavilion has the same rustic feel as the Spring House, but it's open to a small babbling brook and the sounds of nature. The pavilion really protects your wedding day. Rain or blistering sun will not have the opportunity to ruin an outdoor wedding at Columbia Woodlands.
While the location speaks for itself, what really makes CW worthwhile is the wonderful and helpful staff. Each and every staff member was completely genuine in their excitement for the wedding and was endlessly helpful.
Alina from guest services and the wedding coordinators Kari and Zoe made the weekend a success all around. I asked a lot of them and they really delivered.
You will not be disappointed booking your wedding at Columbia Woodlands. I look forward to returning for many anniversaries to come. It's a place close to my heart.

My husband & I got married here December 2022
Let me start by sharing the positives of this venue:
IT IS GORGEOUS. Our photos were beautiful and we were able to mostly get the we...
dding we envisioned. The wait staff the day of our wedding was amazing. They set aside cocktail hour food for my husband and I, they constantly asked us if we needed a drink and they helped us set up and pack things up at the end of the night. The food was amazing. We had so many compliments on the food served. We did beef short ribs, tuscan chicken, risotto, green beans and glazed carrots. I couldn't be happier with the food. The service to the bridal suite was also great.
We had quite the handful of struggles with this venue. It took me a while to even consider writing a review, but I do feel as much money goes into the venue, you should be aware of what may happen, or at least what happened to us. To be transparent, we spent $27,000 on the venue alone. Not including outside vendors.
To begin, I had been in contact with their wedding coordinator to do a tour. We showed up on our tour to find out our coordinator we had been in contact with quit that day. We were showed around by this sweet lady who worked at the office and she truly did her best to answer questions. We met the bar manager and chef, they both did great at answering questions. We came back a second time because we fell in love with the venue and were greeted with a new coordinator. We did a majority of our planning with her, and she was amazing!! To my surprise, closer to our wedding, she quit. The venue never said anything to the brides about this. I found out from another CW bride who was getting married soon. Around the same time, I had found out the bar manager and chef we originally met quit or were fired also. We had already signed our deposit so this worried us. Our third coordinator with the venue, Brittany did the absolute best she could give the new weddings she was thrown into. She truly did the best she could. We did a tasting with a new chef (second we had met), and had our menu mostly figured out. Shortly after, she was fired/quit. We were months away from our wedding and now had our THIRD coordinator, THIRD chef and a SECOND bar manager. We had roughly 16 months from when we signed out contract to when we got married. Now we are on our third chef, and a new menu planning. He was amazing and gave us such a relief for the stressors the venue was causing us, and his food was a huge highlight of our wedding. We chose to have the venue buy our alcohol rather than a full bar. When we signed our contract, the full bar option was $65/pp putting us at $13,000 for a full bar. Our second coordinator told us having the venue order the alcohol would be cheaper, so we did that instead. Our third coordinator had the bar manager do our purchasing numbers for alcohol, making it more affordable around $5,000. After we completely paid the venue off a month prior to the wedding, I get a phone call stating we bought wayyyy to much alcohol. With all of the numbers given to us BY THE BAR MANAGER. This was CW ordering the alcohol we needed, and then us reimbursing. After complaining we ordered what they told us, they said there was no option for us, no refund, no taking the alcohol at the end of the night.
Overall, our wedding was beautiful. But if I were to do it again, it would NOT be at this venue. The hassle we went through for the $27,000 we spent, was unprofessional and not worth it.
My husband and I got married at Columbia Woodlands this past June and it was perfect in every way! We rented the Rock Path Cabin and the Lakeside Cabin. My bridesmaids and I stayed...
at the Rock Path cabin the night before the wedding and LOVED IT! It was so convenient hopping on the golf cart, and riding it down to the ceremony site.
Throughout the planning process, there were a lot of management changes. Brittany (the current wedding coordinator) handled the changes with such grace. She went above and beyond on all accommodations and promises. Brittany is seriously the best!
All of my wedding attendees said it was the prettiest venue and best wedding they have ever been to! We would choose Columbia Woodlands over and over again! If you are debating whether to book Columbia Woodlands, BOOK IT, you are in such good hands! We will definitely be back for our anniversaries. We love y'all at Columbia Woodlands!
Thank you for making our wedding dreams come true!

perty is beautiful and we had an amazing time - the cabins and tents come with golf carts to drive around too! The staff was so accommodating to everything that we requested for the wedding and weekend. They even delivered lunch and dinner to our cabin the day after our wedding so we didn’t have to leave the property.
There were some staff changes during our planning process, but they handled them smoothly and our wedding weekend turned out perfect!
The set up of the outdoor/indoor space around the Spring House was great for our wedding and reception. We got married under the pavilion, walked up the stairs for cocktail hour on the patio, and the reception was set up inside the Spring House. During the reception, the staff kept fires going in the fire pits on the patio so guests could enjoy those along with an outdoor bar or dance to music inside where there is a bar as well.
There are hotels 10 minutes from the venue with a shuttle service available through Columbia Woodlands for a small cost. Our wedding weekend felt like a destination wedding without traveling too far!
The Spring House at Columbia Woodlands is a beautiful venue. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas are separate, and all are lovely and comfortable. Having the catering ...
and alcohol service on site resulted in less to worry about.
But what helps this venue rise from good to outstanding is the level of service which was provided. I was an anxious MOB, but every staff member I encountered was kind, friendly, and helpful. Amber, the coordinator, went above and beyond to organize all of the details, make everything look beautiful, and ensure a special wedding day.
CW was everything and more for what I envisioned for our wedding. From the Friday night rehearsal dinner all the way to brunch on Sunday morning, we couldn’t have been happier. Amb...
er, the coordinator, was amazing and ensured comfort and safety for our guests. This is a weekend we will NEVER forget! Everyone on staff at CW was wonderful. Thank you for everything! We’ll be back for anniversaries ❤️

mps in the road as there were management changes as well as a few wedding coordinators coming and going. We had really started to lose faith in the venue until about a month prior to our wedding when their newest coordinator, Amber, had contacted me to introduce herself and get up to speed. The previous coordinators hadn’t left her much information to go off of, but after a meeting with us she had honored everything the venue previously promised us, and went out of her way to accommodate new requests we had. Her responsiveness was always impressive whether it was via text, call or email from the time we met until the wedding was over. From the time we arrived on Friday to start setting up the venue, until the Tuesday following our wedding she was consistently there to help us with anything we needed. We actually lost our wedding rings and my car keys and her and the staff never gave up on looking for them until we had them back in our possession. We opted for the all inclusive package and our family and friends were enamored by the beauty of the property, attention to detail, helpfulness from the staff and overall convenience of having everything wedding related in one location for the weekend. The food was amazing - from rehearsal dinner through Sunday brunch. The bar options were extensive and the bartender, Ducky, was so knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy interacting with our guests. The entire staff seemed to really love their jobs. Neither my husband or I have a single bad thing to say about Columbia Woodlands since Amber took over. We will absolutely be back for an anniversary stay. We opted to go with On The Mic Entertainment (DJ), and Seifert’s Flower Mill and they were both very familiar with Columbia Woodlands and had both mentioned the ease they experienced working with them during our event and in the past. We just can’t say enough good things. The weekend exceeded what we dreamed about and pictured it would be.
The venue was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I loved it from the moment we pulled in. The outdoor ceremony space is covered which helped keep the space cooler in the middle o...
f the summer. The space is very rustic and woodsy, which was the theme we were hoping to obtain with our wedding. The space needed minimal decorations to achieve our desired look. The staff was very nice and helpful. We booked one of the cabins for the guys to stay in the night before our wedding and get ready at the day of. I highly recommend renting the cabin because it provided them a place to stay while the girls got ready in the bridal suite. My husband and I also had the cabin to stay in on our wedding night. The cabin is not included in the wedding cost and is on the more expensive side, but we thought it was worth the additional cost. Speaking of the bridal suite, it was perfect. It was big enough to hold all of the girls and the hair and makeup crew that came to the venue to help us get ready. We paid for Columbia Woodlands to provide mimosas and lunch which allowed us to hang out and have fun before the wedding started. The food and drinks were great! The bartenders ensured all of our guests were having a great time and were willing to make any drink requested.
The downsides were the continued added costs.. We initially budgeted for 150 guests. Due to COVID, we had many guests who did not feel comfortable traveling for our wedding. We ended up with 105 guests. Columbia Woodlands was adamant that we did not deserve a refund even though we paid for 45 guests who were not going to attend. Eventually they agreed to a partial refund after many emails, calls, and begging. Another downside was the employee turnover at Columbia Woodlands. The kind woman we initially booked with who was our wedding contact and day of coordinator quit a few months after we booked, and we went through two additional contacts before the day of our wedding. This meant additional emails and check-ins, as our information and wedding planning did not transfer properly to each new person. This is not the fault of Columbia Woodlands, but it was frustrating to be introduced to multiple individuals who were supposed to be in charge of our day and reexplain the vision.
Despite any negatives, I highly recommend Columbia Woodlands for a wedding venue! I wish we could relive the day at this gorgeous venue!
My wife and I got married here 8/25/18 and did the all inclusive package with Megan as our coordinator. To start, Megan was fantastic, she responded promptly to all of our question...
s and needs and was a very down to earth person and maintained professionalism. She was great, and we are both very grateful for her. We also interacted with Brittany some in the booking side of things for the cabins on the property and she was prompt with response and great to deal with as well. All of the other staff at CW was also very nice when seeing them on the grounds and when they were helping with a wedding. DJ Dave Frazee was really cool and professional and he even helped my wife put together a mash up of songs so her and her father could do a father daughter dance like you would see on Youtube! His format online was easy to work with when setting up our song list and he even met with us to make sure he had everything perfect and ready for our day. He kept the reception moving perfectly and smoothly and even drew an awesome dance crowd and it was "lit". Dave also had a nice sound system and lighting system for the dancing and also helped us do a question game with our shoes that turned out hilarious and entertaining. Dave was one of the bar tenders along with his twin brother who i did not catch his name, but they were both great. They had a specialty drink for the bride and groom and delivered on all of our requests. Natalie was the chef there and cooked an amazing arrangement of foods for us. We had multiple people tell us it was the best food they've had for a while, let alone at a wedding, and the best wedding they've been to period. She even arranged 2 special plates for the vegetarians in the family. Natalie went to Twisted Olive to try the Brussel Sprouts we wanted because my wife and I liked the style of them, and she replicated them for our wedding at our request. Lastly, the grounds at this place were beautiful and the cabins you get were nothing but quality. Our friends had a blast staying in them for the weekend and said they would remember it forever.
I can't thank this venue enough! My wedding was beyond perfect because of this venue and staff! They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and wants! Every single staff me...
mber was absolutely incredible. The cabins were truly incredible. The detail was absolutely amazing, they put out rose petals for the night of the wedding, and I can just keep going about the detail. My guests were blown away, by how gorgeous the property and facilities were. Our wedding coordinator megan was a dream come true! We met the owners and she was an absolute sweetheart making sure our day was perfect as well. We can't wait to be back every year for our anniversary! Thank you for making our day perfect!
