The Columbus Botanical Garden is a picturesque garden wedding venue located in northern Columbus, Georgia. Our venue has come to be recognized as a beauty that offers scenic, colorful views throughout the year, with its extensive collection of flowers providing a unique backdrop for any event. Our historic Adams Farmhouse, originally constructed in the 1890s, has been renovated to blend its southern farmhouse exterior and traditional decor with modern amenities and stylings. Come walk the garden to view our lawn space appreciated by many and beauty all around, our charming brick patio that complements its elegant indoor space, our rose and terraced gardens, our camellia garden nestled into the woods, and our rustic gin house - all which offer a romantic and memorable space for your wedding, bridal showers, dinner parties, and more.
Facilities and Capacities
Farmhouse Lawn: One-acre farmhouse lawn, which offers scenic views and beautiful surroundings, accommodates up to 75.
Brick Patio: Our brick patio accommodates ceremonies and receptions of up to 100.
Rose Garden: Our Mothers' Rose Garden accommodates up to 100 guests. (Ceremony only).
Gin House: The Exterior Gin House Lawn is available to accommodate up to 75 guests. Interior space is not available at this time.
Camellia Garden: An intimate garden that is stunning with a fountain backdrop. Ideal for up to 20-30 guests.

Private Events Coordinator
Alexis Toombs serves as the Private Events Coordinator for the Columbus Botanical Garden, where she joined the team as part of the Garden’s Private Events rebrand beginning in 2026. A graduate of Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Alexis brings strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a natural ability to connect with people to every event she coordinates.
With experience across multiple nonprofit organizations, Alexis combines mission-driven purpose with a calm, detail-focused approach. Her enthusiasm for creating meaningful moments and her commitment to outstanding service make her a valuable part of the Garden’s effort to inspire, connect, and celebrate through exceptional events.
Driven by a passion for celebrations, Alexis is dedicated to bringing each client’s vision to life — whether it’s a wedding, birthday party, bridal or baby shower, or a corporate gathering.
