Tami, Stephanie, and Jeanette were all amazing! Tami is a great business owner who went above and beyond to help me make my perfect wedding package. Stephanie and Jeanette are so talented. Stephanie did all the hair and makeup for my mom and I (which looked amazing!). Jeanette and Stephanie worked together to tackle all of the hair for the bridesmaids, my husband, man of honor, and stepmom. I loved working with them all and would highly recommend them!

From the moment I reached out to book with them, Tami was easy to communicate with and make the process of booking seamless. The whole process from booking, having my trial and then my actual wedding day was a wonderful experience with them all. Stephanie and Lindsay did my hair and makeup on my wedding day and they did amazing!! They made my wedding morning so easy and fun. All of my bridesmaids look and felt beautiful. I cannot recommend them enough!!

First of all, I have no idea how to do hair or makeup--totally au natural. :) At first, I balked at the price, but now I feel that it was worth every cent! I love that they include a trial before your wedding so that you know what look you are going for (I didn't really have much of an idea at first lol!). Tami was great at communicating with me and I appreciated her being flexible with timing! Natasha helped me to feel so confident and beautiful during my wedding. She is an amazing person and artist! Natasha was fun, positive, genuine, honest, professional, and extremely skilled. I have no regrets about going with Columbus Wedding Makeup and Hair. Thanks to them, I was able to have a blast during my wedding without a single care about how I looked. Everyone commented that my makeup and hair was "so me" and I felt that way too! :)

Their communication was fantastic and they were incredible flexible in scheduling my trial so close to the event as I am not a local bride. I had Tami as my artist for my wedding hair and makeup. The process of booking was simple and I felt like Tami took the time to explain their services and answer all my questions. Their online system made it easy to communicate and even upload inspo pictures. I booked about 8.5 months out, and was told I’d hear from them 2-3 months prior to my wedding to set up a trial date/ time. I hadn’t heard from them, and reached out to inquire about setting up the trial. I sent two unanswered emails a couple weeks apart, and once I did get a response, it was a little unprofessional stating “there are about 30 brides in front of you.” The communication definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. When I did have my trial, I came prepared with inspo pictures of hair/ makeup and left a little underwhelmed with my look. It was nothing like the inspiration photos I provided. I made notes of changes I wanted made for the big day, and I do think Tami was receptive to this feedback and made changes on the wedding day. I didn’t have a bridal party, so it was just my hair & makeup and my sister’s hair that needed done on the wedding day. I liked my makeup look more than I did after my trial, but some of my false lashes fell off during our first look and didn’t even make it to the ceremony. My hair wasn’t super secure and felt loose early on in the night. My sister’s hair didn’t hold up very long, either. Overall, I was just underwhelmed with the services we received given the amount of money I paid. I can’t speak to any of the other stylists, but that was my experience.

Tami and Lindsey both did such a fabulous job helping me get ready this past weekend. Both team members were prompt and exactly on time and had lovely personalities which made getting ready so much fun! I have been so busy with work and school that I needed to book a hair and makeup stylist fairly last minute for my elopement, and Columbus Wedding Makeup was fortunately able to help make my day special. Lindsey took her time helping me with my makeup while making sure she kept my wishes in mind of a more natural finish. Tami utilized my hair style ideas while maintaining a more classy finish that helped me feel even more beautiful when everything was completed. The Inn I got married at had special rules in place, such as not using hairspray inside the facility, and Tami made sure she followed their policies while working with me. Tami and Lindsey both made me feel like a princess bride by the time they were finished, and I would love to work with them again in the future!

They were fantastic for my wedding, very organized. Stephanie did my hair & make-up and the hair of my wedding party. She was very punctual, detail-oriented, and did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend for any event!

Communication was unprofessional, unorganized, & obnoxiously overwhelming in my inbox. Tami's emails were long, with conflicting information. When planning for a wedding, the last thing I needed was trying to make sense of this person's emails promoting her own blog & Instagram. The hair styles & makeup artists were wonderful & very professional. They were accommodating to requests from my party & absolutely nailed the looks. They did a fantastic job, but unfortunately the experience was sullied by the owner Tami & her poor communication.

I highly recommend using this team. The make-up and hair styles were beautiful, they really listened to my preferences and had great recommendations. They were punctual, kind, and very professional. I can't recommend them enough. They even provided touch-up lip gloss for me and all of the bridesmaids. I have been in numerous weddings, and this was the best team by far!

Tami was so responsive with any questions or concerns throughout the entire process and was so helpful for someone who is very inexperienced! Columbus Wedding Makeup and Hair did a great job with me and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding. They also did my makeup. Tami was very responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding and Stephanie did a fantastic job at my trial and day of making me and my bridesmaids look beautiful and feel comfortable and confident with our hair and makeup. I absolutely loved what Stephanie was able to do with my hair. I also have dry sensitive skin and loved the airbrush makeup and skin prep that they did. We were working with a tight timeline due to venue constraints and Stephanie was able to get everyone done with plenty of time to spare and with great quality. I would recommend Columbus Wedding and Hair to anyone looking for a communicative and great quality beauty team.

Tami and the entire team are so nice and accommodating. My trial was so fun and the team worked to do the specific things I asked. They were punctual and prepared, and everyone has an upbeat and outgoing personality. My entire wedding party (11 people), myself, and my MIL were all so happy with our hair and makeup styles! Stephanie was amazing!! She made our vision come true and took her time and was meticulous about placement/meeting our internal vision. I loved working with this company! They were professional, kind, punctual and amazing with a makeup brush! I had a trial and then 2 women came to my hotel the day of the wedding and got everyone’s makeup done! Most of the women getting makeup didn’t really wear it normally and so the trick was for everyone to look natural. They nailed it! And we all looked unique! Tami and her crew are extremely professional and understand what they are doing! They really understand the personality of the client and can match their looks and style with the makeup they need on their day. Her crew was able to accommodate well with both my ceremony and reception (on separate days) and have the makeup turn out gorgeous on both days! The hair and makeup was perfect! I had an example of what I was aiming for (loosely) for my hair and it turned out PERFECTLY. On the other hand I had very little idea of what I was looking for on my makeup and again it turned out amazing. I definitely recommend this company for your wedding needs. I utilized their make-up services so can’t speak to their hair service, but I imagine it is wonderful based on my experience. Tami was personable and easy to work with from the start. She worked with the timeline I wanted so that I could utilize the beautiful bridal suite of our venue in the time allowed and provided helpful words of wisdom about my wedding day in general. She was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. Stephanie was my lead bride make-up artist and Lauren was our secondary make-up artist and both did an amazing job and worked with each girl’s individual needs.

I had an amazing experience with Stephanie. I wanted something simple yet elegant and she went all out. She made my mom, my maid of honor, and myself look spectacular. If you want someone to bring your vision to life on your wedding day I highly recommended going with this vendor! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and she nailed it.

I had such a wonderful experience with Columbus Wedding Makeup! The owner, Tami, is so sweet and obviously really cares about her clients and their wedding experience! Communication about my day was easy and comprehensive; but Tami goes even above and beyond with communication by regularly sending out tips and tricks for pre-wedding skin care, as well as general wedding day tips! My MUA was the wonderful Lindsey, and she knocked it out of the park day-of! She was so open to all of my thoughts and concerns and followed through with the most beautiful look. She is also very personable and held good conversation throughout the hour of makeup application. Funnily enough, the day of my pre-wedding makeup trial, Lindsey went into labor! But instead of cancelling, sweet Tami came through and did my trial instead and took lots of pictures and notes for Lindsey. Overall, I was so pleased with my experience and would highly recommend hiring Columbus Wedding Makeup & Hair!

Working with Columbus Wedding Makeup was super easy and the team was amazing to work with. Having payments all online made things easier/faster, and everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful during the process. Lindsey did my bridal makeup and I felt so beautiful. I was so scared I would look overdone because I don't really wear makeup, but she totally understood that and made me look like a beautiful, polished version of myself. My bridesmaids and family members loved their makeup too. They were great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

Stephanie and Lindsay helped create the look of my dreams for my big day!! They were so patient and kind during the whole process!! They also did my wedding party and the mom's in the group on the day of and did FANTASTIC!!! truly don't know how to thank you and Stephanie enough! I was really worried about not feeling beautiful on our wedding day and BOOK THIS VENDOR! I left both the trial and the hotel on my wedding day feeling like a million dollars! Stephanie and Tami stopped at nothing to make sure my hair and makeup was exactly how I wanted it on my big day! They truly jumped through hoops and made it happen! MY HAIR AND MAKEUP LOOKED STUNNING AND IT HELD ALL NIGHT LONG!! My bridesmaids and family LOVED LOVED LOVED their hair and makeup also and we just appreciate everything so much!

The many awards/good reviews this company has is why I booked them. I want to warn women, a truly bad experience for me. Initially, booking process was fine. Tami was pleasant. We spoke through phone before booking. She was easy to speak to which made me comfortable to lay a deposit down quickly even though they don’t do trials before booking. First mistake. Months before attending the trial, I filled 2-3 questioners plus my Pinterest/Instagram they requested so they knew what I wanted. I thought this was a good sign that they cared. The shop had nice interior. But I immediately got the impression I had entered something “uppety” when greeted. they didn’t know who I was supposed to be meeting with for the trial (it wasn’t with Tami & was never told who it would be with.) I was placed with someone named Stephanie & Kelley (who was nice,) watched for a few mins. I was asked to show Stephanie the Pinterest boards. (red flag.) I had sent these months ago, she would have had time to look them over. I pulled them up, she look at two pictures from each hair & makeup. One I showed from makeup, she said “uh no, this isn’t Halloween, we aren’t going to do that.” She quickly without asking anything else began. Makeup first. I asked to adjust contouring around cheeks & she did it with blush. (next red flag.) I had to remind her to put lip color when finished. She did my hair. I had told Tami what I wanted, it was not what she did at all. She put curls in. if we are being honest— I could have done at home. I wanted something different; braids in the style, half up half down etc. I went home. To my disappointment, the first thing my fiancé (who is very supportive) said was “I like how you do your makeup better.” I knew then, I couldn’t go through with this as is. I wanted to look my best on wedding day! I wanted my husband to find me extra beautiful if I’m paying high dollar especially. I sent Tami an email that was honest & respectful about my concerns. By this point, my air brush makeup had also turned orange colored as well.) Tami explained; she originally set me up with a different artist, something changed, she had to place me with Stephanie. She thought it would be fine, Stephanie had been there for the longest of her artists. This is why Stephanie did not know what was going on or what I wanted. Tami said it was her fault, she had never sent the Pinterest boards/Instagram/any of the questioners I had filled out & sent back. She said another client from the same day complained of the orange Makeup happening. She said it had to be bc an old cartridge of makeup was used. She thanked me for the email & asked how I wanted to proceed. At this point, I was upset. What if orange makeup had been on wedding day? Why was I placed with someone who didn’t know what I wanted or care? Why was I never asked what needed tweaked, how I normally wear makeup or what I wanted to be different? I found someone else to book, & asked based on the experience if I could get a refund. She “normally wouldn’t” but “felt bad” & though convinced could fix errors, she was “tired” & would. 2-3 weeks said she give it til “next week.” originally said full refund then said half. Asked who I rebooked with, how much deposit was. none of her business at this point. She sent a “dissolved” contract to sign. It said 60 or less days before event, I owe full service fee. This is why she pushed it off for weeks. I confronted her, she denied it, only then did I get 50% back.

I was really impressed with Tami and the work that she did! I loved my wedding hair and makeup :) Tami is definitely a perfectionist, and makes the extra effort to ensure that you are getting exactly what you want. She listens and responds really well to feedback. She is also friendly and fun to talk to (important when you're stuck sitting in a chair for hours getting your hair and makeup done!)

I booked Columbus Wedding Makeup about a year before our wedding and they were amazing! Kelley and Carla were my hair & makeup artists for my bridal party and myself and we could not have been any happier with their services! They were both so nice and fun to work with! Kelley did my hair and makeup and she was a dream to work with!! I gave her a picture of what I was wanting and she absolutely NAILED it. My hair/makeup lasted all day/night without any issues. Same goes for all of my bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law. All of their hair/makeup stayed in place all day! Even when some people were worried about their hair staying put in the 90 degree heat. I communicated with Tami a lot the year before my wedding and she is so kind and quick to respond. Love these ladies!!! I highly recommend!

They covered all our beauty needs for both my bridal look and my seven bridesmaids. The hair and makeup trial was super helpful to tweak my bridal look vision. Tami was so wonderful with giving suggestions for makeup tones that would complement my wedding dress, not compete with it. Billing and correspondence was simple and helpful. Stephanie was our lead stylist for the wedding day, covering my bridal hair and makeup. She’s undeniably talented, making me look and feel amazing. My hair is incredibly thick and heavy, and she worked with me months in advance planning out a hairstyle that would last all night. I’m so thankful for her hard work and vision. She went above and beyond for me. My bridesmaids also looked amazing. They had the exact sultry look I was going for, tweaked to their personalities. I’d recommend CWMH over and over again!

Having the trial included was a huge must for me. It made me feel comfortable knowing what having all that makeup on would feel like and I could tailor it to my liking.
