Nick Johnson is the Founder and Owner of Commerce Street Catering, bringing more than three decades of experience in hospitality, food and beverage operations, and event management to every client he serves. His career began in 1993 at TGI Fridays, where he worked his way from busboy to server, bartender, trainer, and bar manager, gaining firsthand knowledge of every aspect of the hospitality business. In 2003, he fulfilled his dream of entrepreneurship by purchasing Alibis Sports & Spirits, and just one year later launched what would become Commerce Street Catering. Today, Nick leads a team specializing in full-service beverage catering, event staffing, and hospitality solutions for weddings, corporate events, festivals, sporting events, nonprofit galas, and private celebrations throughout Texas. Known for his creativity, vision, and ability to solve complex challenges, Nick has built a reputation as someone who turns ambitious ideas into exceptional experiences. He believes that every event should reflect the client’s unique vision, and he enjoys collaborating with clients to create innovative concepts that leave lasting impressions.
