Located in the heart of Richardson Heights, Communion Neighborhood Cooperative was originally built as an auto service center toward the end of the midcentury. With a nod to its originally intended purpose, the building was completely redone with industrial chic design sensibilities, while retaining much of its original charms. Chief among them, the six glass bay doors that bathe the interior in natural light. The venue contains over 2,500 square feet space and can be configured in multiple ways to accommodate your gathering. We offer full-service onsite catering from Communion Café, as well as options for beer, wine and cocktails.

The price was awesome, and the location and atmosphere was even better. Everyone had a fantastic time at a place I never knew existed after living in Richardson for 10 years! You can bring in all of your own vendors which makes a huge difference!!

My partner and I were looking for a reasonably priced Venue for our wedding ceremony and reception and we definitely found it here. The building is beautiful with a bit of an industrial feel to it. We had the ceremony on their outside space under a covered patio which was a great neutral background for our arch we had. Their outside space has some seating around a fire pit and a putting green with a few holes which was great for the kiddos to be able to run around and for others if they needed to step out during the reception. The reception space inside was great for us and we were able to have about 70 people there comfortably. The food was spectacular in which we used their in-house catering and it is the thing we get the most compliments on. They have a lot of options for different food and alcohol to fit any budget. The coordinators with the company what were great and we had a wonderful day.

We loved hosting our wedding reception here! We had a smaller group (around 50 people) and communion was the perfect size and space for our group! The servers were great, the food was amazing and they were wonderful to work with. We were lucky that our wedding day had nice weather and we opened the garage doors and used the ping pong and put put in the back. It was wonderful!
