I have been in the event industry over 14 years. I previously managed an event venue and later worked as the GM of Banquets for the convention center in Omaha, NE. I was looking to make a change but I wanted to stay in the Wedding & Event industry! The opportunity to become the owner of a Complete Weddings + Events franchise presented itself and I am thrilled to say I purchased the business in April of 2019 and moved to Des Moines, IA! Complete Weddings did a great job with the photo booth for our wedding reception! Timely, communicative, professional. Our guests had a ton of fun, they did a great job working with us to customize the photo strips before the big day, and they provided us a physical book and digital copies of all photos throughout the night. I booked them at a wedding show for a great discount and they did not disappoint! Everyone was very professional. All I needed was a DJ, and they did not try to super push their other services on me, which I appreciated. Very reasonably priced. They were very communicative and checked in along the way. I never had to worry about being out of the loop or not understanding what was going on. For a detailed planner like me, I was thankful for their level of competency and ease of partnership in organizing the wedding. Antonio was our DJ. Great personality, very professional, and definitely added some good energy to the evening. Easy to work with and good communication. He was all about us the whole night. Just meet him, you cannot help but smile!

Our experience with Complete Weddings and Events was great overall! Alexis, our photographer, made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Her positive energy and guidance helped us relax and enjoy every moment, resulting in photos that perfectly captured our day. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Our DJ, Cody, was fantastic to work with, as well. He was great at communicating ahead of time, making sure he understood our preferences for the music. On the day of, he kept everything running smoothly and maintained the perfect vibe throughout the night. He really knew how to keep the energy up and the dance floor full! We were so happy with both Alexis and Cody, and we highly recommend them for anyone looking for top-notch service.

Our original DJ broke her wrist an hour before our wedding at the Des Moines Botanical Garden and DJ Cass and her assistant Brandon came by and did an AMAZING job so last minute. DJ Cass was so fun and full of energy she made our reception run smoothly and made it extremely fun for us and all our guests. Tony had the best personality for our big day! As our DJ, he kept our guests on the dance floor moving and grooving. He went above and beyond when I had to make a slight change to dances because of my dad’s health. He was extremely accommodating and caring. He communicated with me more than a week prior to the wedding and was so helpful in determining the flow of the reception. Definitely recommend Complete Weddings and Events AND Tony to anyone!

Complete's office managers were super helpful and responsive from the time we booked them to our wedding day. And Darcy did an awesome job DJing our wedding! It was very easy to communicate with him, and he walked us through possible song choices, group activities, etc. in advance of the wedding. The day of the wedding, he arrived early and adjusted quickly for a last-minute ceremony site change. Then he kept the reception flowing nicely, and we had so much fun on the dance floor all night! Highly recommend him and the rest of the Complete staff. We didn't book any other services, but it's nice that they offer discounts for booking several, so that's something to consider as well!

I am so happy with our decision to work with Complete Events. The communication and professionalism from Sue made the planning process so easy. She set everything up with both the photographer and DJ, and was available for any questions or concerns we had throughout. Cass did an amazing job throughout the planning process, ceremony and reception. She mixed 2 custom songs for the ceremony and the dance floor was packed the entire reception. So many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how impressed they were. We didn’t put a lot of thought into the playlist, just a short list of songs and left the rest to her. She absolutely understood the assignment, ran with it and made the night so much fun. Sarah also went above and beyond, she was so patient and kind throughout the whole process. The photos turned out amazing, I couldn’t be happier with the results so far with sneak peak photos! She was quick and professional while also flexible with added last minute changes. I felt so comfortable working with her, she calmed my nerves throughout the day and all smiles were genuine because of her and Cass!!

We used complete for DJ, photographer, and photobooth! Giovanni and Tony were both fantastic DJs. Poor Megan, the photographer, had a lot of wind to contend with as well as my massive family. She was fantastic. Megan checked in with me several times before, during, and after the wedding. I cannot wait to see the final photos. Kim and Thressa were fabulous photobooth attendants. Everyone loved the props and unlimited photos. They put photo strips in a book for us to keep!

Sue and the team was absolutely FUNDAMENTAL in making our day a massive success. I have coordinated many weddings and NEVER worked with a team that was so attentive, fun, and knowledgeable about what they do - I will forever recommend them to everyone!! MASSIVE props to photographer, Drew, who not only got every shot we wanted, but ones we forgot about AND was done early so we had time to chat with our guests and relax! I have never seen photographs go off without a hitch like ours did! The DJ, Patrick, was absolutely a blast - and LOVED how he ended the night with our first dance song again - so perfect! I have never seen EVERYONE on a dance floor, including our grandmother, who requested a line dance (and yes, there are TONS of pictures)! :)So thank you all - you truly made our night a perfect success! :)

We had the BEST experience with this company. We hired a DJ (Brandon) and videographer (Jose). Brandon did a great job keeping the dance floor full all night and even showed us how to do the wobble! Complete Weddings + Events was great! I appreciated all the communication leading up to our wedding day. They utilize a portal where you can add all the songs and other details that will help your big day go off without a hitch.Emails get sent periodically to remind you to fill out these forms. You can also pay your balance through the portal in installments or all at once, which is very convenient.We had an in-depth meeting with our DJ, Brandon, who played each of our selected songs to make sure they were the correct song and version.Brandon worked well with the venue staff and other vendors. He made the party fun with some games, got everyone to gather for a full group photo, and kept us on time with the things we had on our timeline (cake cutting, speeches, special dances, etc).We did Complete Interactive and decided to have a social wall and did bridal wars, which had the guests choose how they thought we, the bride and groom, would answer. It added to the experience and we will get to keep all the photos people posted on the social wall.

Brandon our DJ was phenomenal!! We stayed on schedule, dance floor was packed. Loved the dollar game and group picture- so genius. Music was great!!!! Absolutely no complaints! Also Sue was great about coordinating everything and keeping in close communication throughout our wedding planning process.

We used Complete Weddings + Events for our photographer and DJ. They went beyond my expectations. Andy was our DJ, I can’t say enough good things about him. He kept our dance floor full the entire night & one of our groomsmen even said “my feet hurt today because I couldn’t stop dancing, the DJ wouldn’t stop playing awesome songs!” Andres was our photographer. He was so fun to work with during our wedding photos. Very laid back and personable. We can’t wait to see all the beautiful pictures he took!

Sue was very quick to respond to all my messages and requests. She was very thorough throughout the whole planning promise and made communication seamless. John Ross, my videographer provided by Complete, was AMAZING! He jumped in with creative ideas and angles, made suggestions to photographers, and gave us instant clips and photos from the day. Very kind and talented! Highly recommend using Complete for videography!

We loved everything! Jenni and Eli were the bomb! Had many many compliments about them! :) Darcy was super friendly and was always on top of things! I didn’t get to chat too much with Amanda at the photo booth but when I went in there she was super nice and very helpful! Sue was a great help through it all. Feel like a lot of things went very smoothly thanks to all of these lovely people! Thank you complete wedding and events! We had a wonderful and very memorable day!

We had Andy as our DJ and Emily as our Photographer! Both did an amazing job and were so friendly to work with! Andy was very fun to work with, super nice, and kept the night moving seamlessly! He played all the requests that we had and did a great job overall. Emily was also super fun and friendly to work with! She kept a great positive attitude despite the day being very chilly and rainy. Sue was very communicative throughout the entire process and made sure everything was good to go. I would definitely go through Complete again!!

Brandon did a wonderful job as our DJ. He listened to what we wanted during our planning session and communicated with us during the night to make sure our plan was executed how we wanted. He also did a great job of getting people to the dance floor and keeping it fun. Sue was also great to work with and so flexible when we had to postpone due to covid.

Sue and Nicole were very easy to work with. They were easy to reach via email and text. DJ Darcy Field contacted us weeks before the events to go over various items. They had all of the music we wanted and more. Any songs we wanted that they didn't have, they were able to download for our event. The ceremony timings were perfect along with the reception events. He kept the party going and made it fun for all!

With an older and more traditional crowd being invited to our wedding, we were a little nervous about finding a DJ that would match our style. However, Complete has a wide range of DJs that accommodate every couple's style! Complete worked with us and even set up a time to meet our DJ in person before we chose them for our event. It made us feel more comfortable after meeting with Nate and we are so excited for our reception. Complete has been very accommodating, professional and straightforward, which allows us to focus on other parts of wedding planning!

I have hired Complete Weddings + Events videography for my wedding in August, and they have made the whole process a breeze so far to prepare. If I would have known more about the photography and DJ at the time, I probably would have done their package as well! They have assured me that they will be there if I have to reschedule due to COVID19. So far, they have been reliable, professional, and accessible for planning my wedding and I cannot wait to work with them further and to see my final video of our wedding day! I have heard and seen nothing but great things about their work!
