Concannon Vineyard in Livermore, CA, is a registered California Historical Landmark and has been bringing people together since 1883, making it the ideal place to exchange your wedding vows. Pavilion, Main Lawn, Grape Arbor
If it's stunning sunny views you're after, you can celebrate your wedding day on the pavilion and main lawn, surrounded by trees and artful topiaries. This outdoor setting provides tables, chairs, and a bar area, with the pavilion offering a seated capacity of 70 and the main lawn more than double that at 150. Alternatively, the grape arbor, first planted in the 1980s, features beautiful, entwined table grape varieties throughout and above, forming a high arch that shades from the sun while seasonally showcasing delicious grape clusters.
Inside Concannon Vineyard
The Barrel Room is truly one of a kind and one of the most aesthetically pleasing sights you could see. Two enormous 70-year-old French oak casks bookend the stage at the top of the room, while rows and rows of French and American oak barrels create walls on either side. The fragrance and aroma are layered with character from ancient crates, and the room is big enough to accommodate large parties of up to 168 people. For smaller, more intimate gatherings, the Bubbles Lounge can host 40 seated and 70 standing and offers easy access to the open-air vineyard patio. Rows of vines add to the relaxed atmosphere at a venue that is also perfect for cocktail hour. Concannon Vineyard is situated in Livermore CA founded by James Cannon in 1883. Excellent vineyard supposed to be the 2nd biggest in California. Went there on 16th April on weekend. Is huge but at the time of my visit there was no grapes crop,...
may be not the season however the vinery was functioning. You can taste their wines and also purchase. Excellent wine to taste but if you are in a group of 8 or more then you have to take prior reservation or else you can walk in for tasting and purchase. There was a discount of up to 40% in purchase of 6 or more bottles of wine. Lots of place for sitting to consume your wine both inside and outside the billing. There's a big lawn with chairs and table for that. Excellent Vineyard.

big. We visited with friends and I highly recommend making reservations if you wish to spend sometime and hit up the wine tasting.
Lots of parking available and drive wasn't that far from Pleasanton.

This is an excellent place to visit with friends. I recommend making reservations if you wish to sit inside or on any of the tables that are covered. However, the outside uncovered tables and the entire grassy field are completely open! When we came, we bought a bottle of white wine, brought a blanket, and just hung out and had a picnic. It was a great time.
The facilities are super clean and the staff are really nice. Just be aware that sometimes people will book events here and you might not be able to stay as long as you want without a reservation, so take note of that and call ahead.
There is plenty of parking here and it's pretty easy to get to. I'd recommend bringing sunblock if you plan on being outside. Also, bring a camera because there are some fantastic places to take pictures and you are welcome to walk around the immediate property to take photos!

ave it "reserved" for tasting, and have "3 groups waiting". Half an hour later, nobody took our place. Looking for a new "home" winery.
