Laura was a breeze to work with! She took my idea and brought it to life. My cake was absolutely gorgeous... and yummy!!! My guests couldn't stop talking about it!!

Our cake came out exactly how we pictured! It was beautiful. We asked her about the weather, since our wedding was outdoors, and she said she could absolutely bring the cake after the ceremony so that the humidity (and so much rain, oh my goodness!!) didn’t harm it. The cake was so delicious, we got a 4-tier, naked cake with blueberry lemon and strawberry layers for a great price. Would absolutely recommend!

Our wedding cake was amazing! Every person at the wedding raved about how good it was. Laura was great to work with and really helped us throughout the whole planning process and tastings. Her prices are super reasonable as well. We can not wait until our anniversary to eat the top tier of our cake jut to taste it again!

Yes to Laura's cakes! They are AMAZING! Her cupcakes have such a professional touch with a homemade flavor. Our guests are still asking about them! Despite some air conditioning issues we had at our venue, Laura's cupcakes withstood it all and tasted just as good as when we had our first tasting. She's so much fun to work with and you can tell and taste that she truly enjoys what she does.

OMG! Not one thing would I change about our wedding cake! Laura was exactly what I was looking for - a professional with ideas and suggestions. We taste-tested and consulted with 4 other different vendors - they all had good tasting cake, liked my ideas and said "sure, we can do anything you want" or "sure, we can make it that way". Laura was the 5th vendor (best for last unbeknownst to me!) - she took my ideas, turned them on their head and came up with the vision I had really wanted but couldn't put into words! And, she was the only one that actually took out colored pencils and paper and drew the cake of my dreams!!! I knew right then, she was the one. Now, on top of that, she had THE MOST DELICIOUS CAKE of any we tried. I mean moist and full of flavor and fresh ingredients. We had a 3 tier cake - each one different & personal to our likes - bottom was a dark chocolate cake with a mocha buttercream filling, middle was a strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream (both with fresh strawberries throughout), and top was a vanilla bean cake with lemon curd and lemon buttercream. I'll say it again - OMG!

Laura was super easy to work with and makes a delicious cake! All we had to do was describe what we were looking for in a design and she had a color drawing completed in minutes! We had to add on 25 extra people about 2 weeks before the wedding and that was not a problem either! Thanks Laura!

Absolutely stunning products! We ordered a Star Wars cake for the groom and a naked cake for the wedding cake. They worked with our florist to add a delicate touch to the cake. So easy to work with and very reasonably priced. My husband and I had absolutely no complaints. The cake was certainly a hit!

Laura's cupcakes were delicious! We wanted a simple cake with a little bling and cupcakes for our wedding. Laura nailed it. From the tasting where she presented us with several delicious flavors to choose from to the final product, everything was great.

Finding Laura was such a blessing! We had tried so many cakes and felt that many of them were dry or just not good enough for our wedding day. We set up a tasting with Laura and were blown away! Everything we tried, we loved and we ended up having one cake flavor throughout our 3 tier cake, but two different kinds of fillings because we could not decide on just one! We brought picture of what we liked and Laura sketched a cake and tweeked it until it was exactly what we wanted! On the day of our wedding, it was beautiful and tasty! We could not have asked for more!

Amazing to work with. Very willing to use our ideas and run with them. These were by far the best cakes and icings that we tasted! I could give her the information and trust that everything would be in order which was important because I was planning from a distance.

Our wedding was 09/06/15 in downtown Raleigh, NC. From our first meeting and tasting to the delivery and set up, This vendor was wonderful to work with. Not to mention, the cake tasted absolutely delicious! We plan on ordering a small cake on our one year wedding anniversary just to experience the deliciousness that is Confectionate Cakes again.

Laura did a really nice job on our cake. I wasn't that interested in the cake aspect of the wedding and saved it until the end of planning because it seemed like a lot of money that didn't need to be spent, but my parents told me we had to get a nice, classy cake and that Dairy Queen ice cream cakes were not an option. Confectionate Cakes was a great find because they have low prices for the quality of the cake. I think the quality is equal to that of some of the larger, well-known companies, but the prices are much better. And Laura is experienced, so you know your cake is going to show up in time and how you wanted it, which is what you'd risk if you went for less expensive but less experienced. She seems to have the lowest prices for the highest quality in the area. The cake was delicious and very moist! We were able to do 2 different flavors, alternating each tier, for no additional charge, and she made a kitchen cake to serve about 20 people so we didn't have to add another tier, which helped cut costs.

Confectionate cake made our wedding cake in June 2015. The vendor is great to communicate with. We had our tasting and design meeting and everything turn out just as we wanted it! And was also delicious.
