Confections of a Rock Star

Oh my goodness. My (now) husband and I came to Kimmee with an idea of how we would want our cake to look, and COR DELIVERED. Not only was the cake the most delicious and had our guests talking for months after, but it was one of the most beautiful cakes I’ve ever seen in my life. Kimme and her team took our vision and ran with it, helped us develop exactly what flavors and accents we needed, and even teamed up with another local vendor to make our dream cake come true. We couldn’t recommend Kimmee and her team enough. Both her and her team are the kindest people through and through. And we can’t wait to come back for more treats when we’re in the area again and hopefully more cakes down the road! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts COR!

Best custom cake EVER!!!! Kimmee is the best to work with!!

I used Confections of a Rock Star for a cake for our wedding welcome party this month and cannot wait to use them again. Not only was everyone very easy to work with, Confections of a Rock Star was very accommodating and understood the look we were going for. The cannoli cake was to die for! Everyone enjoyed it and some even went back for a second slice.

We were pleasantly surprised at Confections of a Rock Star and couldn't be happier with our decision to have a wedding cake from there! Kimmee was a sweetheart during our tasting and every moment leading up to (and after!) our wedding. The cake was delicious and beautiful and just how we wanted it. I had made paper flowers for our decorations and not only was Kimmee thrilled to see the pictures but wanted to incorporate it into the cake, leading to a beautiful and cohesive design that tied our cake to every moment of our wedding. Kimmee and her staff are down to earth and the perfect people to trust with something as special as a wedding cake or as everyday as the sweet treats they offer in their bakery. We had nothing but compliments for our cake and couldn't be happier with our decision.

My husband and I were ECSTATIC with the naked cake that Confections made for our wedding last weekend. It was one of the best cakes we've ever tasted (I already ordered a 6" for our mini-moon next month), and we had our florist cover it with succulents for a final result that was truly showstopping. Kimmie was super friendly, easy to work with, and helped guide us towards something she knew we'd be happy with. We'll be dreaming about that cake for a while to come!

During our tasting, Kimmee was great in sitting down with us and listening to exactly what we wanted. Not to mention, we got to try a ton of delicious cakes and icings! The cake looked beautiful and tasted GREAT - everyone was raving about it!

AWESOME!!! We LOVED everything about Confections of a Rock Star. Kimmee is wonderful to work with. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted, so Kimmee walked us through the options and helped us to narrow down what made sense. We had a big wedding (240 people), so we decided on cupcakes and a small cake - just for family. Everyone was blown away! We are still getting calls almost 2 months later to ask where we got the cupcakes from. They are the best you'll ever eat!

Kimmie and her team killed it on our wedding day. The cake was better than anything I could have imagined. I actually cried when I saw how beautiful it was! I gave the decorating team quite the challenge when I showed up the day before with a fist full of dried, painted palm leaves that I wanted on the cake- they were hesitant but they pulled it off! On top of all of that- it was soooo good. This isn't the type of wedding cake that sadly sits around uneaten. We took the top layer home to freeze, but we couldn't help ourselves from eating it all the next day! None of this is surprising though, we fully trusted Kimmie and her team from the moment we sat down at our tasting. They walked us through all of our options, helped us determine a size and provided some insightful feedback on naked cakes. By the time we walked out that day Kimmie felt like a friend and not a vendor!

Wonderful vegan cake and cupcakes along with regular cupcakes, brownies and macaroons. They are so over the top and delicious. We did not have any desserts left and trust me we ordered more than enough. I thought i was going to be stuck with left over dessert. That was not the case, everyone loved the cake and decorated just they way we wanted.
