Happy wedding searching! My name is Conor O'Keefe, and I am the Owner of CONMETICS Beauty LLC. I am 29 years old and currently living in New Bedford, Massachusetts. I have been traveling and doing makeup across New England for the last four years. I mainly focus on wedding makeup services, but you can also find me glam'n different events, photoshoots, and, of course, on myself for fun! My curiosity for makeup started at a very young age and consisted of me sneaking into my older sisters' rooms when they weren't home to create whatever I could with whatever they had. As I grew older, I steered away from playing with makeup because that can be pretty intimidating for a confused younger self. Although I wasn't able to use my artistic and creative abilities toward makeup, over the years, I found many ways to create. I would later find myself taking a graphic communications course at my high school, Blue Hills Regional Vocation Tech. There, I was learning my way around bringing my own art to life. I studied a lot about color theory, personal advertising, and computer editing programs. I have carried all of this knowledge till now and cherish how unique and personable I'm able to make my business and craft because of it. In early 2020, I would find my way back into makeup again, this time with more confidence and a plan to really make something of it. The first half of 2020 was spent working mostly on my own face till my friend's wedding later that year. I sat in on the get-ready and watched my good friend Joelle work her magic. I told her I was intrigued. She then brought me to a wedding, only doing the lips. Even just having that small task, I knew that day it was exactly where I needed to be to let my makeup artistry flourish. Since then, I have been working very hard to keep the best products in my kit while learning and adapting to this fast-growing industry and making sure that I am having fun doing it! Over the last few years, I have seen how vast and sometimes intimidating the makeup industry can be. When you book with CONMETICS, I can guarantee that I have a wide range of techniques and styles that can be seen through my clients. I believe it's super important to have this capability as a makeup artist since there are so many styles and skin types out there.
