Nathan Hale Homestead is a historic wedding venue located in Coventry, Connecticut. Being the birthplace of Connecticut's state hero, Nathan Hale, the homestead is a cherished local place-of-interest. It features an 18th-century English-style barn that is framed with rare gunstock timber, a 19th-century dairy barn fashioned with a charming aesthetic and a service prep area, and a paved patio that can host a forty-by-forty-foot tent. The homestead is surrounded by stone walls and a lush forest, adding to the pleasant atmosphere of the entire property.
Facilities and Capacity
The English-style barn can be used for exciting and lively occasions such as cocktail hours, reception dances, or jovial dinners. The barn can fit up to fifty people in a seated dinner event. To help your event come to life, the dairy barn can be used as a prep area and comes complete with a refrigerator, a freezer, a warming oven, and a service window that overlooks the patio. Each of the barns has been lovingly restored, adorned with dimmable lighting and modern amenities such as fans, air-conditioning, and electrical outlets. Behind the barns is an expansive green space that allows up to 250 guests to enjoy your wedding event under the shade of a tented seating area.
