and an evening of magic and elements of child-like fun with wonder for all ages, this is your space! We had been to so many beautiful weddings in banquet halls, barns, hotels, and other traditional venues where the experiences were starting to blur from wedding to wedding. Every single person who came away from our wedding says it was one to remember, so unique, and so so so much fun. We originally were going to have the ceremony in the outdoor garden with the cityscape as the backdrop, but rain drew us indoors. Luckily there is a theatre onsite that was a perfect built-in rain plan, and the staff executed the switch without a hitch. I also loved being able to look out to the audience and see every single person who came, not just those in the front row. Our cocktail hour was then in the level six exhibits, with our bride/groom photos in the butterfly room. A butterfly even landed on me making for a magical photo with my new husband. Dinner was on the lobby level, and the staff had helped us maximize the space due to more than anticipated people RSVPing (everyone wanted to come to this wedding haha). We went back up to the exhibits for the reception/dancing, which was in the 4th floor engineering lab/sights and sounds experience. There was something for everyone, those who wanted to dance, play around, have a quiet moment wandering the center, and everything in-between. We absolutely loved this venue and the amazing staff. Such a magical evening and definitely a night to remember us and all who attended.
