Connexion Band was the absolute highlight of our wedding. Everyone raved about how good they were and kept the energy flowing all night. Ray was so easy to communicate with and und...
erstood the vibes I wanted for every step of the wedding perfectly. From the cocktail hour to dinner and dancing he went above and beyond to ensure that everything I had envisioned came true. I was pretty particular and Ray and the band took my vision and brought it to life exactly as I had dreamed. Their song selection is huge and they already knew every song I could have hoped for. Every generation at the wedding loved the genres and their ability to perfect everything from The Temptations to Blink 182 was incredible. Kevin absolutely crushed singing our first dance song and the video of him singing still makes me cry! Our Emcee kept the flow of the wedding going perfectly and they managed to perfect every single specific thing I had asked for without skipping a beat. I keep saying I wish we could have another wedding just to be able to hear and dance to this amazing band again. You absolutely could never regret hiring Connexion and I hope every wedding gets to have as great as music as ours did! Thank you so much! I will be forever grateful to you.
BEST DECISION EVER! We highly recommend booking Connexion Band for your wedding if you want a packed dance floor and a fun night.

y were incredibly helpful during the planning process and made everything so easy and stress-free. Communication was excellent throughout. Any questions we had were answered promptly and clearly, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The performance itself was absolutely amazing. The band brought such incredible energy to the night. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about how great the music was and how much fun they had. We were married on June 21st and still have friends and family asking us for the name of the band for recommendations! The setlist was perfect, and their talent as musicians and entertainers really shone through. They played a variety of songs from different genres and kept the dance floor packed all night long! They gave a great show and were really easy to work with. They even played a lot of our favorite songs without us having to ask!
A special shoutout to Ray, who was awesome to work with - professional, friendly, and super organized. He made us feel completely confident going into the big day and delivered beyond our expectations. The emcee was fantastic as well and kept the flow of the evening smooth and engaging. If you’re looking for a band that will elevate your wedding and create an unforgettable experience, this is the one. We can’t recommend them highly enough! You won’t regret booking Connexion Band!

all types of music to get everyone on the dance floor, and we received so many gushing compliments from our guests about the band! Our guests could not leave the dance floor and didn't want the night to end, 10/10 recommend!
Ray and Connexion were 10/10. They delivered on every single thing we asked of them. Sincerely a highlight of the wedding. By the end, people were pooling money together and asking...
them to stay longer. People were asking, "How did you find this band?" and commenting on how packed the dance floor was. They had such an incredible range of songs they could perform. On top of being an amazing band, they were amazing people. So kind and responsive - they really went above and beyond for us. Do not hesitate on booking Connexion!! I'd choose them over and over again.
Ray and his band were unbelievable, literally had the dance floor rocking for the entire time for our wedding! He answered the bell on every request we made, his group was just awe...
some to work with. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would! Highly recommend this band for any venue or event you might be booking. Literally the best band, thank you Ray!
Truly fantastic! Connexion was so easy to work with, so kind, and made our wedding and dance floor so much fun! We couldn't recommend them enough.
Unstoppable energy and dedication: a wedding band like no other! Our wedding reception was a night to remember, not only for the celebration of love but also for the incredible per...
severance and talent of our wedding band. Despite facing a tornado and sudden power outage, the band from Connexion rose to the occasion. As the night went on they figured out how to plug in their speaker to a truck giving us music all night long.
I cannot recommend them enough! Ray is also such a pleasure to work with, and took any stress away. You will be in great hands if you hire them!
Our wedding would not have been as amazing had we not gone with Connexion Band. They played at my cousin and my sister’s weddings so I knew they were excellent. But, didn’t realize...
just how wonderful until our wedding. During the entire process, Ray was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating, they even let my dad sing some songs with them, he was in a wedding band most of his life and he thought they were excellent as well and loved singing with them!
I have gotten so many compliments and people asking for the bands name since our wedding. We chose to trust the band with the playlist and not veto or choose any songs and the dance floor was crowded all night. It was truly amazing, they even kept playing until 5 minutes after the agreed upon time, we loved that they helped us keep the party going, it was so fun!! Connexion band is full of members that are extremely talented, high energy, and ready to put on a great show.
They also provided a guitarist for our ceremony and it really helped to add a special touch and was so beautiful.
We are so lucky to have worked with Ray and the Connexion Band for our wedding. My brother had booked them for his wedding and when planning my wedding, I knew we had to book them...
again. We have gotten SO many compliments about how much fun everyone had and how AMAZING the band sounded (I even had a family member get a stress fracture from dancing so much). Our wedding started late and went until 2 AM, and by 2 AM people did not want to leave/asking to keep going. They also worked with us and played all the songs I had asked for and let me create a playlist to play for dinner/dance breaks/late night. They were so flexible, collaborative. If you were like me and nervous if your guests will be on the dancefloor/want to stay the whole night, then do not hesitate to hire the Connexion Band, I promise, they are worth it!
Can we give Connexion Band more than 5 stars?! Ray and this band of seasoned, talented singers and musicians who have been together for years provided the best music and dance exp...
erience! We hoped for a packed Dance floor at our daughter’s wedding and Connexion delivered performances that kept the dance floor full of dancing, singing, pure joy! They learned a special song for us, they honored our requested songs and they performed songs that fit the vibe! They say they perform songs “note for note” and it’s true! Ray mc’d when needed and was so easygoing to work with throughout the year of planning! Hire this band if you want to dance all night, even longer because yes, the guests chanted “one more song” and they played an encore! At a wedding reception! That was a first for us to experience! We are still hearing from our guests…
“A-plus”, “the band kept everyone involved”, “it was like a concert”, “they know so many songs”, “is that the new Dua Lipa song”, “so many amazing singers”. I have never felt so strongly about a review….Connexion Band is 5 star plus! Thank you.
The Connexion Band will absolutely make your event the talk of the town!
We had seen them perform a few times at a fundraiser dinner, so we knew they were good, and therefore had...
high expectations for them going into our wedding day…they blew through those expectations and made our wedding day absolutely perfect! From the moment we began working with Ray, Connexion was completely focused on making our reception memorable and personalized! The dance floor was so packed, we asked them to play an additional 30 minutes past their set list. Ray, and the entire band, were flexible with every request we had for them (including traveling from Chicago to Columbus), and made planning our reception so easy.
You and your guests will not be disappointed if you book the Connexion Band for your event!
We had our wedding 5/20/23 with Connexion Band and they were amazing! They played a great mix of oldies and new music to get everyone on the dance floor. Ray was great to work with...

We did have some musical requests such as needing a pianist for our first dance they weren't able to provide despite their two keyboardists, but were very easy to work with to provide a workaround and still learned all requested pieces for the other instruments.
The connexion band was absolutely amazing!!! The communication with Ray throughout the planning process was so easy. Then on our wedding day, they were SO fun! The dance floor was ...
completely packed the entire night. Highly recommend connexion band for your wedding!!
We hired Connexion Band for our wedding a few weeks ago in December '22. They were AMAZING! Our guests never left the dance floor. We keep getting compliments weeks after about how...
great our band was. Everyone told us how FUN the wedding was... I know that was due to Connexion. I had never been to a wedding where the guests chanted "encore" but Connexion was just THAT good.
This band is absolutely amazing! We hired them for our wedding and it was definitely one of (if not) the best decisions we made. Not only are the musicians phenomenal, but Ray is a...
wesome to work with. He is extremely responsive and professional, he let us preview the band before we hired them and we got to watch how he monitors the crowd to determine which songs the band will play next to keep people on the dance floor. We also got to select all of the songs we wanted to hear, which was great to make sure the music fit our style. Our guests actually loved them so much they were asking Ray for their business card and still tell us today how great the music was and how it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. I would highly recommend and use them again, this band truly made our wedding something to remember!
We have nothing but the ABSOLUTE best words to say about Ray and the Connexion Band!! They are the best we have seen and had our dance floor absolutley packed all night long! We wi...
sh we could have had them play all night ! Not to mention, the MC for the night made me feel so at ease and helped to carry out our time line seamlessly. Highly recommend this band for your wedding, your will not be dissapointed! Not only did they make our night unforgettable, but Ray was quick and so easy to speak with for the entire process!

e up to us saying that this was the best wedding band they had seen. Ray was also great leading up to the wedding, answering our many questions and helping us figure out things like ceremony audio and background music. Connexion has you covered and will make your event a night to remember!
We were truly blown away by how amazing the Connexion Band was at our June 2022 wedding. Our dance floor was absolutely PACKED all night, and Ray and his band really brought the en...
ergy! Many times I thought they were playing the music from a recording, when really the band was just THAT GOOD. I had multiple people tell me afterwards that this was the best band they had ever seen at a wedding. Ray was extremely pleasant and easy to work with, and they are flexible with any and all songs you want played. Can't recommend them enough!
This is the email I sent to Ray after my wedding to thank the band! They are all so talented and I am so happy I was able to book them for my wedding!!
“ Dear Ray,
We had to sen...
d an email to rave about your band.
First of all, thank you for being so responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process. You really made everything so smooth and stress-free, you were very reliable, and I knew I could trust you with the last minute changes.
Second of all, I have never had so much fun at a wedding in my life (granted I am a little biased). Your band had EVERYONE (old and young) on the dance floor from start to finish! Even during intermission, people were STILL on the dance floor waiting for the band to come back!
Third- the vocalists and musicians were fantastic! We were blown away by the range of talents, and loved how they alternated lead singers for different songs. From the rapping to the ballads, the Connexion band covered it all!
Fourth- We loved the songs that the band played! We appreciated the mix of old and new! I can't tell you how many people have also complimented the band. We have been receiving texts/phone calls from people asking the name of your band and how we found you guys (we originally saw your band at Ashley Swanson's wedding and knew we had to have you for ours).
Last- We honestly cannot thank you and all the members of the band enough. You made the day so special and one we will always think back on and smile about.”
I could not have asked for a better band to perform at our wedding. They were amazing and the amount of compliments that we received from our guest has been unreal. They are truly...
the best and I would highly recommend them for your wedding!!!
Connexion Band brought the party to our wedding. We had a wide range of guest ages (teens to 90) and we were worried the music would be skewed one way or other. But Connexion perfo...
rmed a great variety of songs, and everyone of all ages was dancing all night. I don't think I've ever seen a dance floor so full for the entire wedding. Ray was wonderful to work with prior to the event, great communication and follow up. He responded quickly to my million emails and phone calls. The band played the songs we requested and filled in the rest, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. The band was a surprise for my dad, and he teared up when he saw them perform. Best part ever.
Fantastic band for any event! We booked Connexion for our wedding and could not be happier. They sounded great all night long! The 9 piece band had a full sound and kept guests on ...

We hired the Connexion band for our wedding this August and it was the BEST decision. The band really lit up the evening with their lively spirits and choice of music. Their voice...
s were not only impressive but the variety of genres they could sing was very remarkable. Their leader Ray was very helpful and responsive to our specific needs. He gladly set up speakers on our second floor dinner space for our dinner music. He accommodated our request for “tropical” themed dinner music as well. The band gladly embraced our tropical theme and wore flower leis like the rest of the guests. Overall they were a joy to work with and we loved listening to them. We still are receiving compliments from guests, “The band was great!” 10/10 recommend if you want your music and reception to be a night to remember!
The Connexion Band performed at our wedding in September 2019 - it's December and we're still getting compliments on how great the band was! They were professional, polished, energ...
etic, and they sounded amazing! They cover a wide range of musical genres and know how to plan out a set list that really keeps people dancing all night. The band manager, Ray, was great to work with and all our special requests were accommodated. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!
You should hire this band for your wedding!! We went to listen to numerous bands at other people’s weddings and none impressed us as much as Connexion. They provide so many pieces ...
at such an affordable price! They had our dance floor rocking all night long and people kept complimenting us on how amazing the band was. All of this was helped by the fact that Ray was great to work with. He started communicating with us almost a year out from the wedding as we started to discuss song selection. As the wedding day got closer, we nailed down a timeline for the entire evening and Ray and his MC made sure the evening went smoothly. One of our friends left the wedding asking if he could hire Connexion for his upcoming wedding in NYC because he thought they were so fantastic!
The Connexion Band was so amazing I'm not sure where to begin. The thing that comes to mind first was how crowded the dance floor was all night. Myself, being the bride, only left ...
the dance floor once (to go eat cake). The songs and energy make it impossible to leave. We had guests the night of, and still one month later, asking who the band was. Throughout the planning process Ray was nothing but pleasant to work with, was very responsive and flexible as plans would change throughout. Hiring this band was one of our best decisions of the wedding!
They know how to keep the party going! They are all extremely talented it’s hard to tell if it’s the dj or the singers because the singers sound just like the artists! They will ma...
ke your reception a blast!!
All 240 people at our wedding RAVED about the band! I’ve never seen a a dance this packed ALL night! They are professional, engertic and overall wonderful!! THANK YOU!!
We cannot say enough good things about the Connexion Band. We are so happy we chose them to be a part of our special day. Ray was so organized and helped us throughout the entire p...
lanning process. They allowed us to choose a few special songs and also helped us with a grand wedding party entrance. They also were reasonably priced and fit with our budget. The performances were amazing from start to finish. One of my biggest wishes for the wedding day was to have everyone on the dance floor and they made that wish come true. Our guests are still raving about the band. I'd choose Connexion over again and again.
The Connection Band played at our wedding reception in December 2017. We thoroughly enjoyed their music and received many compliments on the band, even long after the event. They...
customized a playlist for our preferred style made up of a combination of requests and their picks that fit well. They have an extensive repertoire and would be able to do that for many genres and tastes. They even played a song I asked for that was not on their regular list. They also provided a solo keyboard player to provide background music during dinner.
The electricity went out at our reception just before the band was to go on stage and they were prepared to go without electronics if needed (the power came back on).
They provide good value for the number and quality of musicians at their price. The band leader Ray is friendly. And the Connexion Band provided entertainment to celebrate the reason we were there without making themselves the focus or using our event to promote themselves.
If you want your guest to stay on the dance floor and yell for more at the end of the night then this is the band for you!!! I had so much fun working with this band and our dance ...
floor was full the entire night. They entire band is so sweet and really got our guest partying. Can't say enough good things about them!!
Having a live band was one of the best wedding choices we made, and Connexion was outstanding! Their price is a bargain especially for the number of members/instruments. They did a...

to work with, very easy to contact with quick responses! He was accommodating to all our questions and suggestions. We were even able to come and view the band prior to booking to make sure it was a good fit. Not to mention they were very reasonably priced and we are so happy to have found them after much searching. The band kept our dance floor busy the entire night! They had a large variety of songs to choose from and played all our favorites. I can't speak highly enough about all the band members, their performance was great! Especially the DJ who was so helpful in orchestrating all the important dances, speeches and announcements. We had so many guests complimenting us on how much they enjoyed the band and we are so happy with how it turned out. We highly recommend Connextion Band to anyone looking to have a great party for their wedding!
Thank you to Connextion for being a highlight of our day!

The band did an AWESOME job for our wedding! They're a 9 piece group, which gives them so much flexibility in what they can do. We wanted a song they didn't know for our song, and ...
they learned it BEAUTIFULLY in just about 1 month. All of our guests commented on how great they were, and they provided entertainment for those who didn't want to join in the dancing. We really can't recommend them enough to anyone and everyone!
Ray and the entire Connextion band were wonderful! They are true professionals who not only helped entertain our guests, but also ensured our entire wedding (from ceremony to cockt...
ail hour to reception) flowed as it should. We had multiple guests comment on how much fun they had, and we truly have the Connexion Band to thank for that! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for event entertainment.

few songs that meant a lot to us. The fact that they had 9 members left the crowd in awe of the range of genres....rock, country, rap, Top 40, oldies, and BRAND new songs (think 'Feels' by Calvin Harris'). The dance floor was ABSOLUTELY packed the entire night and every song was as though the original artist was singing. They were interactive with the crowd and we had more than a handful of guests say they were the best wedding band they had ever heard! I couldn't agree more, their energy, passion, talent, and genuine excitement to be playing our wedding was unmatched and made it the best day of our lives. I would and have recommended them to anybody who is discussing bands! Thank you Ray and Connexion Band for all the hard work, we will never forget that night!

dding, it was a no brainer for us to hire them! Ray was incredibly helpful and communicative in the planning process, and everything went seamlessly on the big day. The band is truly comprised of so much talent! Having live music honestly made our wedding day extra special. The dance floor was packed all night because of them and we've had so many compliments about the music! We would absolutely recommend Connexion Band to any couple in the Chicagoland area!

onnaire to us prior to the wedding about reception details which helped us know what to expect on the day of the wedding and ease our stress. The music was phenomenal and we have never seen a dance floor that packed for the entire night. They played a wide variety of music and were so talented. Even guests who couldn’t dance loved just being able to listen to them perform. We have already been asked several times by other couples who our band was so they can have them at their wedding. Having The Connexions as our wedding band truly made our night so memorable and special.
Absolutely awesome value for a wedding band in Chicago. We got top talent and performance without breaking the bank. Their staff was always willing to accommodate our questions and...

o a wonderful mix of DJ songs through dinner and special requests for first dances, to live versions of our favorite songs. They have a huge repertoire that they work with and allow you to choose some songs that are 'must haves' and then feel the crowd to select songs they think will bring people to the dance floor, and our dance floor was packed the entire night! They are a steal for the quality of the music and fun they give a wedding!
Connexion Band was referred to us from a co-worker. We booked them for our May 13, 2017 wedding at Trump Hotel Chicago. They were unbelievable. There were 4 singers so it was no...
n-stop through the whole reception. The music genres are diverse...rock, pop, country, easy listening, the classics and top 40. The ceremony and cocktail/happy hour musicians are additional. We opted only for the ceremony pianist. I was a little preoccupied but I didn't hear any negative comments so I think everything was great. I was disappointed that they didn't provide any audio equipment for the Reverend. Ray was very patient with us through the ceremony planning. Almost 2 months later and guests are still talking about our reception and the music. Bravo to the band!
KEPT US DANCING ALL NIGHT!
We are still receiving compliments on the band! Hiring Connexion for our daughters wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The dance floor was n...
ever empty...As promised they delivered and then some. We had a wide range of ages and everyone danced! They are willing to play or learn almost any song. Ray was really easy to work with and on the day of they arrived extra early to set up well before any of our guests would arrive. They also provided great MC service for the introductions and speeches before taking over the dance floor for the evening. I would highly recommend them!

Our guests were on the dance floor all night and we had guests coming up to us all night raving about how much they loved the band, the music played and the friendliness and professionalism of the band. Ray was excellent to work with as well, very responsive and organized. They were also very reasonable priced compared to other bands we looked into. We highly recommend Connexion!!!
