I believe they will become a "preferred vendor" at the venue (Ignite Glass Studios) as they were great to work with and the food was amazing. I had multiple friends comment on how delicious the food was -- especially out-of-towners who got a true taste of authentic Chicago pizza! Tania worked with us from start to finish (from scoping/menu planning to execution) and brought professionalism, expertise, and thoroughness to every interaction with me and all other vendors that she had to coordinate with. We were in such great hands. Her composure really made us feel calm throughout all chaotic planning efforts which was truly above and beyond what we could've expected out of a food vendor. I am so thankful! The staff/caterers at the event were also super professional and kind and did a great job from start to clean-up -- everything was so organized. Throughout planning, there were moments when we weren’t sure how to handle certain logistics or had requests that needed some figuring out, and Connie’s was always right there. Sometimes they had a clear, simple answer, and other times they helped us talk through the options until it made sense. That kind of support made such a difference and took a huge weight off our shoulders. The food was phenomenal, we had guests genuine raving about it! Seriously we were so impressed. And their bartenders were exactly who you’d want behind the bar: competent, friendly, and calm even in the busiest moments. What really set them apart, though, was how much they handled quietly behind the scenes. They just took care of the little things that could’ve easily turned stressful. That kind of presence let us actually enjoy our own wedding, and we’ll never forget that. Connie’s is a true Southside staple, and that meant a lot to us when picking them. They brought not just amazing food and service, but a sense of pride and care that felt personal. We can’t recommend them highly enough, and we really mean that.
