getting into photography and I thought, "ok, it's a trend with our age group." But lo and behold, he took me and my fiance (now wife) out to just take some pseudo engagement shots, and I was surprised as ever. He wasn't just another guy buying the most expensive gear you could find and then putting it on auto mode, but he actually took time to learn his gear, mixed it with his creativity, and gave us some of our favorite shots of ourselves. Now, I'm a guy with pretty high expectations. I do a lot of research and get into the nitty gritty details--groomzilla, so to speak. My personality makes it pretty easy to be disappointed by others. But, as you can tell, Conroy has not disappointed me at all. From the pseudo engagement photos, I chose to ask him to be our wedding photographer and he really went above and beyond in terms of quality of photos, being a non-intrusive participant in the festivities (I've seen quite a few wedding photographers ruin the mood just to get a shot), trying new things, and capturing the essence of the moments in wonderful snapshots of time. So Conroy, my hats off to you for being that friend and photographer that exceeds expectations and certainly surprising me with your skill and creativity. Thanks for capturing the best of times in the most superb photos we could have ever asked for. I'll be calling you again! :)

r photos. You would be surprised at how many photographers are just marking up point-and-shoot photography with a hefty overhead without an eye for the job. Conroy has no issues with any of these areas, as he shot beautiful candid photos during the exciting moments, recognizes his available light and supplements accordingly, uses both popular and unique poses (he's always trying to think of something unique), and can make sure your photos put a smile on your face (have quite a few of them hanging on my walls!). Could not have been happier with his work and his ability to be flexible gives wedding parties the ability to feel free to celebrate.

For example, we hoped for sparkler photos which we didn't prompt him ahead of time during our meetings together and within just a few tries he got the most amazing sparkler shots with little adjustments (that's not easy!!!).
