Their pricing was fair and their musicianship was excellent. We received many compliments on the music at the wedding. With the cost of planning a wedding, we were unsure that we could include live music in our budget. But looking back, it was one of the best choices we made and can honestly say it TRANSFORMED our ceremony. They were perfect; book them ASAP.

The process coordinating with Vasiliy B for my big day could not have been easier. He was incredibly responsive to all of my E-mails. From filling out a form he performed every single wedding song perfectly. All requests for the band break song lists were played. The dance floor was moving all night and I did not provide any instruction on specific songs. Also, his coordination with my coordinator on timelines for speeches was Impeccable and they may be discussed the timeline once. Do not hesitate to hire Consonance Music Ensembles. We picked out our musical selections and the guitarist made our garden ceremony magical! THANK YOU SO MUCH CONSONANCE MUSIC! The groomsmen walked in to the Game of Thrones theme song and our guests went wild. They played the most beautiful renditions of Somewhere Over the Rainbow for my bridesmaids, and Can't Help Falling In Love for my entrance. Guests couldn't stop raving about them!! Aside from the talent, Vasiliy was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend for any event!!

My husband is a classical music composer and was worried that any live music we hired wouldn’t be good enough, since we were planning our wedding from out of state and had to rely on recordings on the internet to make our decision. Finally, just a little over a month before the wedding, I told my husband that it was important to me to have live musicians and created a request for bids on Gigmasters.com. We listened to samples of the three bids we received, and Consonance Music was the best. They were also very reasonably priced! We decided to hire them and are so happy with the decision. Our guests complimented them and even my husband thought they were good. The bridal processional (Che gelida manina) nearly had people in tears. My only regret is that I didn’t get to hear any of the pre-ceremony music because we were taking photos in another location.

iy took so much time to communicate with me before the ceremony over a period of several months. He patiently replied to many, many emails that I anxiously wrote him to make sure all would be perfect for our ceremony. I always heard back from him the same day if not right away. He worked with me to customize an event that would fit our budget and this is why I picked his company over others I was considering. Before the ceremony he kindly called me to go over all the details. We ended up needing another portable PA system for our officiant and Vasiliy saved the day by supplying that for us. He and his team arrived early to set everything up and all went smoothly. It was a pleasure working with Consonance Music Ensembles and I would definitely hire them again. My only regret is that we could only hire a string duet for our small wedding ceremony and not more musicians!!! I look forward to having a bigger event to hire a quartet. You can't go with these guys so hire them today and sit back and enjoy their beautiful music.

They played for two hours straight with no breaks, and never missed a note. They played the classics, show tunes and even dance music (Cheap Thrills by Sia was amazing) all in time with the mood of the party. I can't imagine how they could have done a better job. I believe most couple will say their wedding was the beautiful and the best but ours truly was. We owe a wealth of thanks to Consonance who set the tone for a really elegant and classy affair. One of the memories of the special day that stayed with me it the richness of the sound as I opened the door to enter the ceremony. And this was outdoors!!! The sound quality was great and everyone enjoyed the selections during cocktail hour. another quartet scheduled to play but 2 weeks before the wedding they had to cancel on us. My fiancee and I proceeded to freak out but luckily we were put in contact with Vasiliy and the good folks at Consonance Music. Seeing as how the music was the one aspect of the wedding where I had free range, Iet’s just say I took full advantage (ahem…Groomzilla). Coming from a music background myself I knew exactly what I wanted played and how I wanted it played, to the exact measure. Some of the pieces were already in Consonance’s huge repertoire, however many were not. In these cases they would either seek out the sheet music or create an arrangement themselves. I never heard a ‘no’ or ‘I don’t think we can do that’. I requested everything from Hello by Adele to Viva La Vida to A Ribbon in the Sky to As Time Goes By to Canon in D. They even played Classic Man along with the DJ as I walked down the aisle. A week before I’m pretty sure they had never even heard the song. And to say my guests enjoyed the music is the understatement of the year. They played with emotion, song after song, perpetually outdoing themselves taking the audience on a journey before the wedding even began. After the ceremony the first thing a close friend said was “I can’t believe they played A Whole New World. That was the best thing ever… until they played the Game of Thrones Theme. And I’m not gonna lie, that Force Theme from Star Wars made me shed a tear… oh yeah and Congratulations!” Consonance Music was nothing short of amazing. In hindsight, it’s absurd what they were able to do. They stepped in at the last minute, in an impossible situation and completely knocked it out of the park. I’ll never be able to thank Vasiliy and the rest of the quartet enough. If you’re looking for the best… do yourself a favor and book these guys ASAP. I literally have zero complaints and this review doesn’t begin to do them proper justice. Bravo and thank you once again for saving/making my wedding ceremony. -Lucas
