If you’re hoping to do more than just shuffle from side to side on your big day, my lessons are exactly what you need! Most couples want to feel confident and look great dancing together, but they don’t want to be overwhelmed by complicated routines. With over 30 years of dance experience, I’ll work with you at your level to help you achieve the perfect first dance.
If your wedding is still a couple of months away, check out my "Wedding Dance Rescue" lessons, offered throughout the Twin Cities. These affordable 2-hour sessions are perfect for couples who want to feel prepared without all the stress. Many couples learn everything they need in just one class! Walk away with a video of the moves you learned so you can practice at home up until wedding day.
If your wedding is under two months away, private coaching might be the best fit for you. Most couples find that 1-3 private lessons give them the skills they need to reach their dance goals. We’ll focus on your song, your pace, and your style—no contracts or packages required. Just book each lesson as you go!
For couples who want to build skills for not just the first dance but for all the dancing at the reception (and beyond), I also offer 3-week group courses at 15 metro locations. These courses are great for couples and even for the bride and groom’s parents who want to join in on the fun.

schedules. She also let us modify and add to the lesson because I wanted to practice a dance with my dad for the wedding as well. We had an absolute blast!
We're new to ballroom dance, but we knew of Deanna because we had signed up for a 4-week group dance class last year. At the time, my fiance and I were looking to do something new together. The class turned out to be under Deanna's instruction, and an amazing experience. Deanna is easy to work with and very professional. Before we met with her to work on our wedding dance she asked if we could share our first-dance song ahead of time. She was prepared during our lesson to show us dance steps that worked with the song, offering to customize it based on what we were most comfortable with. Deanna is insightful; she provided us with tips on how to make our dance look put together, but also not be stressful for us. We are so grateful that we found Deanna's dance lessons, and can't wait to work with her again in a future lesson!

Our session was tailored specifically to our First Dance song and she worked with us to develop something we both loved and felt comfortable doing. We even left with a video to practice at home! The whole experience was incredible and we are so grateful we found Constantine Dance Classes!

n of private lessons. Deanna was so great to work with! She assessed where we were as dancers (beginners) and suggested a variety of steps that fit with the tempo and mood of the song. She also walked us through a great dance floor entrance and a few dips, including a great closer. By the time we left we had a strong framework for our first dance. With a handful of independent practice sessions before the wedding, our dance went great and we received so many compliments. We would highly recommend Deanna to anyone looking to take their first dance to another level without it being overly complicated.

They had a fabulous 8 piece band and we could use East Coast Swing to almost every song. We will definitely go back to Constantine Dance for a follow up to learn additional combinations.

took a private dance lesson just two weeks before our wedding. She helped us coordinate our dance and put an extra time in care with us and kept us laughing. We were able to use the steps we learned in her class and then apply it to a choreographed dance by her. The dance turned out well! We were able to execute it and got a lot of cheers and admiration from our guests. She is a wonderful person and would recommend her to help you with dancing for your special day, or just enjoying dance. Thank you!
