T. Short is committed to the life events of customers! He is from Hammond, LA and has had a distinguished career in a fortune 10 company. He brings a wealth of event planning knowledge to the area. He graduated from the University of Louisiana and holds a Masters in business from Benedictine University in Chicago. He’s always working to get better and views feedback as a gift. This philosophy and win-win mentality has led to success. He is proud to have created a quality place to hold key life events that leverages their ability to a create a true one stop event at an affordable value.

ty, the space is spacious enough for almost any setting. Mrs. Mary & her staff were great to work with and they helped to coordinate the day perfectly and made my experience very personal. I highly recommend this venue for almost any of your needs from engagement party, office meetings, church banquet, you name it. I didn't have to worry about anything. I gave Mrs. Mary my vision for decorations and just like magic the decorations were AMAZING!!!!! We all just showed up and had a wonderful time. I cannot thank Mrs. Mary Short & the Contemporary Party & Wedding staff enough for how great it was doing business with them. Overall, it was a great experience, great price, and great professional people to work with. I highly recommend them to others and look forward to doing business with them in the near future.

it was. I didn’t know such a place existed in Hammond!! I initially thought we would have to travel to Baton Rouge or New Orleans to find a decent venue, but we were lucky to find Contemporary Plaza. Definitely exceeded our expectations. The best part is that the wedding looked a lot more expensive than it was and it was convenient. And the food was to die for...~Tanya
