uch added decor. It’s truly one of the most beautiful places to get married. What made our experience exceptional was Meghan, our wedding planner. From the very beginning, Meghan demonstrated true professionalism and expertise. She is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly an expert at what she does. Throughout the planning process, she made everything feel stress-free and seamless and even helped us find our wedding officiant. The staff at Convict Lake Resort were equally wonderful. They were friendly, accommodating, and incredibly professional. Everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, allowing us to enjoy every moment. Having on-site cabins to rent for wedding preparations was a big bonus too! The team even drove us from our cabin to the wedding tent and vice versa even though it’s just within the area. Thank you so much Meghan and CLR team for helping us have our dream wedding!

l, quiet, and beautiful. We were in awe the entire weekend. The food was also fantastic! We had a lot of vegan / vegetarian guests and the chef made a whole vegan dish for us. It was so good. What truly made the day flawless was our incredible wedding coordinator. She was an absolute gem — organized, attentive, and always one step ahead. Her calm presence allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment without a single worry. She really was working behind the scenes, making sure everything ran smoothly. Everything about our wedding was perfect. We're so grateful to everyone involved in making it the beautiful day we always dreamed of. If you're planning your wedding, we highly recommend this team. They made all the difference. We'll treasure these memories forever!

really enjoyed the food and the reception. The staff were very professional, efficient, and ensured everything went smoothly. We appreciated Meghan's excellent organization, communication with vendors, and top-notch coordinating skills; she really ensured our event ran smoothly and was a stress-free as possible for us on the day of. Overall it was great; however, we do recommend that future couples be pro-active in communicating with Meghan/the venue.

e. Not only is it breathtaking, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure the entire experience is wonderful. They were quick to communicate from the beginning, patiently answering all of our questions about wedding planning, housing on the property, and anything else I might have needed. The wedding coordinator was amazing, going above and beyond. She was professional, kind, and very organized. I really appreciated how she handled the meetings leading up to the wedding and the day of event. The food that they provided was delicious, guests are still telling me how incredible it was to indulge in. We also had many of our guests, including ourselves, stay onsite for the wedding weekend and the rooms were ever better than the pictures make it seem through pictures. Everything went better than I ever could have expected. We are beyond thankful for every person that was involved in making the event spectacular. Thank you Convict Lake Resort for all the you did and continue to do to make your facilities top notch.

We had so many guests come and tell us how good food is. And the location is just totally awesome too. Our friends and family loved being able to stay in the cabins near each other. I honestly can’t recommend this venue enough.

a catering & venue manager myself, finding the perfect venue with great views, professional staff, and good, quality food was SO important to me and the team at Convict Lake Resort did not disappoint! Meghan and her team went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect day. The planning process was smooth from start to finish and the venue itself is not only beautiful but clean and well maintained. We started our stay with a welcome dinner in the Aspen Groves, followed by our wedding day, a day on the lake in pontoon boats & floaties at Pebble Beach the day after, and ended the weekend with a day of horseback riding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! This venue is one you and your guests will never forget and we are so happy we chose to celebrate our wedding there!

, Meghan kept in contact with us through everything! She is very professional and made sure to keep us up to date on guidelines, mandates, etc. Even though we had to wait a whole year longer than planned, it was worth the wait. We got married under the Aspens, which was so romantic and intimate with our close family and friends. The reception was beautiful, everything was set up exactly as I imagined, I didn't have to worry about one thing, which was amazing! Meghan really goes above and beyond to make sure her couples have the best, stress-free, smooth, most fun night of their lives. We can honestly say it was one of the best days/nights of our lives and all of our guests had the most fun too!! So glad we waited it through and have these memories to look back on and cherish forever!!

late night pizza and drinks. Meghan, Mike and their staff ensured that we had a flawless day. Meghan and her team were amazing to work with and set up the tent beautifully. They completely understood our vision and handled all the last-minute items dropped off during the day. We saw the reception tent for the first time after the ceremony; it was all magnificent, her team did not miss a thing. The team was attentive to every guest’s needs and we were well taken care of by Mike and Meghan directly. Our wedding exceeded our expectations.

ful, but Mike and Meghan are just incredible. They are the just kindest people and worked so hard to make sure everything leading up to and our actual wedding day was perfect. The entire process was so easy and so fun. The cabins are amazing, the food at the restaurant is delish, the general store has everything you need, and the location is just the happiest place on earth. We can't wait to go back and we are beyond happy we picked Convict Lake as our wedding venue. Thank you, Mike and Meghan!!! We love you!

rything is going as planned. We brought her some bins with things we wanted spread around the tent and she killed it. Not only did she set them up, but she tore them down and set them aside for us to pick up the next day. She treats you as if it was her own wedding going on. You are not just another wedding to her. Her communication is great, her organization and staff is great, and it completely takes the stress away from your wedding day to where you can just enjoy it. Next I want to thank Mike. I don't think he stopped smiling when we were around him. Mike bent over backwards to get the rehearsal dinner and breakfast set up to our liking and provided non stop service all night. every time I saw him he was always asking how everything is going and if there is anything we needed to let him know. The resort is clean and the remodeled cabins are 5 star. Thank you Mike and Meghan for making this day special and memorable. You killed it.

We got married at Convict Lake Resort at the end of May. The biggest issue we had was we paid a specific amount (not small either) for liquor and it wasn't until 3-4 hours into the...

reception did we find out they were charging people for drinks and never used the money we'd paid them and was listed on our bill and wedding timeline! This was a big deal as we only had an hour or so left in the reception and the damage had been done. It was an unacceptable mistake that was not communicated by the coordinators to the bar tender. We wanted to treat our guests who had traveled from all over the US and the venue is the reason that was prevented and is why they are getting 3 stars....it's inexcusable. Unfortunately there was a storm that resulted in significant wind preventing us from getting married at the lake. We got married in the aspen grove next to the reception tent and it was absolutely beautiful as they were in bloom and it was a very intimate setting. The reception tent is really great, it's beautiful inside and you don't have to dress it up too much. The food is FANTASTIC! Meghan was very helpful the day of the wedding, setting everything up, and handling other random tasks we asked for during the reception.There were a couple minor things we were told would be handled between the vendors and her that didn't seem to be communicated.

The location is beautiful and Convict Lake knows how to take advantage of their stunning views. I would recommend this location not just for a wedding but for a vacation. 80% of our guests stayed right there at the resort, making it a easy walk back to their cabin when the reception was over. I loved having our wedding here and I can't wait to return for a visit.

ding dinner I've ever had. The ceremony location has a view that is absolutely spectacular. Best weekend of my life and everything went without hitch. It was a blast having all our family and friends stay in cabins up there so we could hang out all weekend versus one night. We had a bbq at one of the larger lodges the night before with s'mores and yard games. Absolute blast. I would recommend to any couple looking for a destination wedding in the mountains. Our wedding was classy yet relaxed and outdoors but not "rustic chic".

The scenery is something you have to see to believe. We got married in the Fall with the aspens golden yellow. Everyone raved about the delicious dinner. We had the tri-tip and mahi mahi, but everything is fantastic!
