We hosted our son's wedding reception here and I simply can't say enough how amazing of an evening it was for both the newly wedded couple and all of their guests. The food was maybe the best wedding reception dinner I have ever had. Great portions, and such fantastic quality. Our guests told us many times how good the food was.
As far as the staff, they were incredible and was on top of everything, but not overbearing. The cocktails were poured with care, but I was amazed at how quickly they were able to serve everyone. Top notch service.
The venue is perfect for 90-120 people. We had a staging room with the private wine room, everyone in the main dining room for dinner, and the bar accommodated a live band for the cocktail hour. The after dinner dancing was done by a DJ in the foyer (I guess that is what I would call it) and had plenty of room for everyone who wanted to dance. Our son and new daughter in law were married on the bridge just outside the restaurant, which was so convenient to guests, and again, just a super cool and unique setting.
Finally, working with the owners, Diane and Tom, and the event planning staff, Alexis, was so easy. They were so helpful, worked to please, and the communication was great.
I can't recommend Coohills enough for a wedding reception venue.
My husband and I had our wedding reception in the wine room at Coohills. We worked with Alexis to coordinate our event. She was very professional and quick to respond to communications via email and phone. The food was incredible, and they have a wide variety of options to choose from. They have an in-house pastry chef so they were able to make our wedding cake as well. The pricing was way better than designated wedding venue. We were able to fit 25 people total in the wine room. Our photographer took pictures of us on the bridge just outside the restaurant, and it was beautiful!

Given the consistent rotation of private events coming through Coohills’ doors — from small gatherings to celebrate the influential to extravaganzas of 600 or more (such as the Starz Denver Film Festival) — incredible attention to detail is essential. It’s not uncommon for Diane and her staff to coordinate up to seven parties a night with the kind of precision normally associated with military.
