Based in Houston, TX, cookieDough Bakery is a wedding favor and gift business specializing in sweet treats. The owner of this business is a full-time federal employee, part-time baker, mother, and wife. A true renaissance woman, she has the passion, drive, and creativity to cultivate ideas and bring them into reality. In addition to confections, she also makes other art-inspired pieces, such as paper crafts, sewed goods, and custom T-shirts.
The story of cookieDough Bakery began in the year 2000. Around this time, the owner had a thriving passion for cake decoration and pursued this through local classes. When the year 2012 rolled around, it came with a personal loss for the owner. During this time, she began to rediscover baking as a therapeutic activity. She uncovered the art of royal icing and cookie decoration, thus leading to the inception of cookieDough Bakery, as named by the owner’s daughter, in 2018.
The options are limitless with cookieDough Bakery’s wedding treats. Custom cookies can be ordered by the dozen, or mini cookies can be crafted in two-dozen batches. Alternatively, mixed sets may be accommodated, having one-dozen sets of each selection. Other fun activities with cookieDough Bakery include learning how to decorate in group classes. To get a custom quote, all potential clients need to do is reach out with details about their event, what quantity is required, and what theme the occasion follows.
