Voted one of the best Local distilleries every year, Copper & Kings American Brandy and Spirits Company is independently family-owned, born in the heart of bourbon country with a different mission: to revive America’s original spirit. Before bourbon had a name, brandy was poured by rebels and aged by revolutionaries. Then Prohibition silenced the stills. We’re here to bring it back.
We distill from fresh fruit and American wine, age in bourbon barrels, and never add sugar or shortcuts. The result is bold yet smooth—tradition honored, rules broken, the American way.
Like the horse and copperhead on our bottle, we balance legacy with defiance. What began as a wild idea—a brandy distillery in bourbon country—now drives everything we do. Raise a glass. No permission needed.

Copper & Kings is a dream of a wedding venue from staff to atmosphere to quality of food/beverage offerings. No matter the space you decide to use at this venue (outdoor or indoor)...
it will exceed expectations. Copper & Kings provides the most unique and welcoming space to spend a day like this in. For example, we got married around the firepit in the courtyard in October and it was such an intimate and celebratory ceremony. The rest of the reception was in the courtyard as well, and we used the firepit to do late-night s'mores, which will be so memorable for years & years. Janine is the event sales lead for weddings and is incredible, but the entire staff is so friendly, enthusiastic and professional as well. They will go above and beyond in any way they can to make your event amazing! Lastly, catering for food and bar is done completely in-house, which is not only so much less stress for you, but showcases the excellence of the product and creativity of the beverage program and Chef Josh Lehman. I was literally so excited after our menu tastings and we've had multiple people say to us that we served the best food and cocktails they've ever had at a wedding. I cannot speak highly enough about this place - they will without a doubt "wow" you and your guests from start to finish!

couple opted for their one of their more simple options (which I had assumed would be very basic) was anything but basic!! The chef blew me away with his authentic and quite delicious, all made from scratch on site. My couple wanted a seasonal flavor of Margaritas and Hayley was able to create one that was absolutely perfect.
I had several meeting with Hayley and Janine to ensure that the day would run smoothly- and it did! Their attention to detail is top notch. You can absolutely tell they both have extensive experience doing events. It made my job as the planner so much easier knowing my couple was in good hands!

Having Hayley there as our venue coordinator made the entire day such a breeze - she took charge with vendors, bartenders, and tour guides behind the scenes all while keeping us extremely happy and on schedule. They handle all of the food and drinks, they have tables, chairs, plates, and utensils, and they do the setup/breakdown! We only had to pick our linens, and then source out our photographer, DJ, and day of coordinator! We received so many compliments about the food/drinks, it was some of the best wedding food - thanks to Chef Josh Lehman! Their Event Manager, Hayley Worman, is incredible at her job and made the planning process so manageable. She's extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented and helped us through every step of the way. She was wonderful to work with! The entire staff was so helpful and friendly! By choosing C&K, it minimized the stress/decisions we had to make for the day and it is truly a hidden gem for weddings! It was perfect!

Their venue coordinator constantly impressed us with her professionalism and care for every little detail of our day. She was always willing to communicate with us and create solutions for everything so that our day went smoothly. We chose from a wide menu of catering options and had a lot of creative control over the final product. This applies to all of the aspects of our day, not just the catering. The staff was accommodating to our venue set-up, flipping spaces, music, etc. They even provided a huge portion of items that would usually need to be rented or sourced from a vendor. Overall, I could not recommend them highly enough. Our day was an absolute breeze because of Copper & Kings.
